It is the oldest press in the world, having published its first book in 1499. Music lovers will appreciate L'Escolania choir, a boys' choir of sopranos and altos based at the Benedictine abbey. They perform every day at the Basilica of Montserrat.

Fui en familia y la verdad que todo súper bien, muy buena cantidad y calidad por precio, además me parece barato para lo bien que se come, nosotros estuvimos ayer domingo, nos ofrecieron 2 tipos de menús, uno de 10⬠y otro de 15⬠y realmente lo recomiendo! El dueño es el señor que te sirve y es un encanto. (Pongo fotos de mi crema catalana y de mi café, pq a la comida llegué tarde, incamos el diente en cuanto nos sirvieron )

If you want a fancy restaurant, don't bother going here. If you on the other hand want to submerge yourself in the local Spanish atmosphere and get great quality food and friendly service at rock-bottom price, this is the place to be. The staff is friendly, helpful, they have a baby chair and the food is delicious and honest. They offer the traditional Tapas of cours but their steak is succulent as well. And so are many other of their dishes. At a price for which you barely can afford to cook yourself!

TÃpica MasÃa-restaurante catalana.Estuvimos para celebrar el 50 cumpleaños de mi mujer en compañÃa de toda la familia, 18 personas. Todo fueron facilidades por parte de Dori, la encargada, para que esta celebración familiar fuera un éxito, tanto desde el primer momento que contacte con ella para pedir información y precios como una vez en el restaurante. El personal nos atendió de forma profesional, muy amablemente y con un trato muy familiar.Aunque está un poco apartado del pueblo, con el GPS no tuvimos problemas para llegar.El restaurante cuenta con 3 salas, una exterior y dos interiores. La exterior es donde está la chimenea con su brasa para cocinar. Las dos salas interior son muy rusticas ya que son las antiguas bodegas de la masÃa, son más grandes y una de las salas tiene una zona para que los más peques puedan jugar. Es un sitio muy acogedor con una decoración rústica muy acertada.Hubo otros grupos y familias comiendo pero no fueron problema, ni nosotros tampoco para ellos.Cocina catalana de proximidad sencilla sin grandes pretensiones pero de una buena calidad a un precio increÃble. Comida muy casera. Espacialidad en carnes a la brasa que preparan al momento.Pudimos disfrutar de dos tipos de menú, uno con calçots (25-30 unidades)+2º plato+postre por 15⬠y otro de 1º plato+2º plato+postre por 12â¬, los dos sin bebidas, pero tienen un precio más que normal. Acompañado con pan de Pagés tostado para poder hacer con tomate, ajo y aceite. De primeros podÃamos eleguir entre canalones, tostada de escalibada con queso de cabra, macarrones a la boloñesa, rabo de toro, callos con garbanzos, lacón o cogollos con oliva. De segundos sepia a la plancha, bacalao gratinado, secreto butifarra, solomillo conejo, pollo y churrasco a la brasa o pies de cerdo también a la brasa. Y de postres miel y mató, yogurt natural, tarta queso, tarta Santiago o tarta chocolate. Ha sido toda una sorpresa descubrir este restaurante. Vale la pena acercarse. Hemos quedado muy contentos

I would not make a dedicated trip to visit this restaurant but it is an exellent choice if you are in the area.We stop by on our way home. We wanted something good and fast, and it end up being very slow BUT very good though.All courses are extremely good prepared and tasty. All are pretty big too, so two courses plus dessert is almost an impossible mission. You do better some starters or none at all if you want to enjoy their extremely good.desserts.Cousine is mosty mediterranen, with braised meats (T-bone steak includee) and an plenty of cod based courses. Restaurant holds a nice garden which allows eating outside on sunny days. El menú de 22⬠es algo caro en relación a la calidad y variedad.El comedor es amplio y ofrece unas excelentes vistas.Con el menú solo entra agua o un vino de la casa muy justito que traen en botella abierta y el café es aparte.

This place is deservedly number 1 at time of doing this review. It appears to be only open Friday - Sunday (for info). There were 4 of us dining, with three 5/5 and one 4/5. The impression overall one gets is of passionate and interested staff - the waiter was on the ball, friendly and efficient (despite being only a young lad). The chef came out to see what we thought of his creations. The desserts weren't as impressive as the starters and mains, but I didn't think it fair to mark down to 4 for that...maybe 4 1/2!

Called in here after visiting Montserrat with a group of 4 adults and 2 kids.Beautiful building, with interesting items and photos on the walls. Easy parking and easy to get back out onto the road.The staff were helpful and friendly, knowing enough English to help us with the menu.The food was superb - the sausages being the best we have ever had, and we are sausage aficionados! The snails, were not as good as we thought, but we are used to them in garlic, not a tomato based sauce.The cannelloni and salmon/prawn crepes - oh man, delicious!A very good meal, and very good service, you should definitely try here if you are in the area. Prices reasonable considering what you get and what other places in Barcelona were charging.
