Where are we? Welcome to The Bull Inn in the peaceful village of Hinton. which lies only 20 minutes from the centres of both Bath and Bristol and less than 5 minutes away from Junction 18 of the M4. About The Bull This ancient stone built building dates b
Great friendly and welcoming service. Dogs welcome. Staff were so friendly it was a really lovely as some places are very impersonal. Food was great. Lots of lamb, brilliant veg and the rosy potatoes were delicious. Every roast had a Yorkshire pudding on it. Good selection of ales. Sticky toffee pudding was really light and tasty. Will definitely be back.

Managed to book a table for 15.30 on a Sunday with 90 minutes notice. Main meals are HUGE,we ordered steak, chicken pasta, fish and chilli wraps. All come with sides,chips/potatoes veg/salad,and are delicious. No room for desserts and most struggled to finish so although the meals are good value maybe slightly less. Good choice at the bar and staff were all very friendly.

Bolero Lounge is an informal, neighborhood food led cafe/bar open all-day everyday where families, friends, and locals can come for a drink or food. We are also dog friendly!
My wife and grandchildren visited for breakfast. My wife asked if the children could have scrambled egg instead of fried or poached egg, she was told there weâre to busy. When the food came out one of my grandchildren said the beans tasted off. My wife tried them and they tasted disgusting. So they said they would replace the whole meal. By the time it came out my granddaughter had eaten half her sisters meal. They did offer a refund if my granddaughter did not want it but she was still hungry. The waiter did actually comment there was nothing wrong with the beans to which my wife replied âhave you tried themâ No reply? I canât believe it takes longer to make scrambled egg than it does to poach an egg? And say there was nothing wrong with the beans. The whole experience was not very nice and my wife has no intention of going there again. Hi There,Firstly my apologies on your below par experience with us. There are certainly some things you've mentioned which i'd like to discuss. If you could possibly email me directly at [email protected]. We do try and cater for our guests as much as we can. Sometimes we are quite busy when at capacity but we do try our best during peak service. Unfortunately at the moment we are slightly short on team in the kitchen so this may have been why you were told no. I am glad you had a fresh meal, In response to the beans we would've sent out 100's of portions on the day of your visit so it's unfortunate you weren't keen on these. I can assure you a fresh tin was opened however for your replacement dish.Look forward to hearing from you,Kind Regards,Carl,General Manager

The Codrington Arms is a beautifully presented, cosy country pub with an outstanding restaurant. The pub is also a great venue for wedding receptions and parties. Popular with families, the large beer garden with play area is a must see, as is the largest
We had a lovely meal at the codrington arms. Waiting staff very attentive especially Ellie. Thankyou.

I would like to thank all the staff, in this great pub, for making our 50th wedding anniversary, last week, such a memorable one. We had our wedding reception at the pub and it was so lovely to be back there again. The pub has changed, as one would expect, in 50 years and is very attractively decorated. The lovely staff were so helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and the food beautifully cooked and presented. We only wish we lived nearer! We had a very happy time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you so much.

Since reopening the pub in March 2009 we've tried to impress people coming back with a wide selection of real ales and a stunning menu & specials board selection from our chefs. Visit our website to have a look at our restaurant menu, our drinks offering
Stopped in here for a light lunch. This is clearly a very popular pub. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming and cleared a table for us after taking our order. We only had sandwiches but they were very good. the bread was fresh and the sandwiches came with cole slaw and salad. The only reason I have rated this a 3 star is that I think the cold drink that I had may have been past its use by date. The drink was a funny colour which I was assured was normal colour and it tasted OKish but there was a lot of sludge at the bottom of my glass. It may be that it hadn't been shaken up enough before serving.

Pub with a restaurant.
Went to Sodbury Steak House to celebrate my wife's birthday. Nine of us dined. All meals came out at the same time service was brilliant staff are super friendly and the food was excellent. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the burgers and ribs. It was a lovely night we were well looked after. We will be back. Thanks!

Had steak and scampi and my wife had fish and chips her chips were hot the fish was over cooked and dry, and my steak asked for medium it was over cooked and the rest of the meal was mediocre and warm not the standard we have enjoyed before we spoke to one of the servers about this and the response was the chef is leaving and we are getting a lot of complaintsHi Gordon, thank you for taking the time to post a review for us, we appreciate all feedback. Iâmsorry your last experience was not enjoyable, if you would like to discuss this more please give me a call or drop me an email. Our kitchen team comprises of a team of around 12, usually with around 4/5 chefs working in any one day. Iâm not sure the relevance if a chef is leaving, as different meals get cooked by different chefs on separate sections, so not just one chef, just to reassure you. Many thanks again for the feedback. Regards, Deborah Jarvis (Manager)
