We stayed in the hotel and the hotel side of the business is great (see separate review), but the atmosphere in the restaurant is depressing and the menu even more depressing. I found it difficult to find anything I wanted and my food was very average. In the restaurants defence my husband said his pasta dish was OK.Hi travellerNEEngland,Thank you again for your feedback on your experience at Ibis Sydney and I have also replied to your other review.Again it is concerning to read your feedback on our dinner menu and we would really appreciate knowing specifically what you disliked about the menu so we can improve our menu. I would really appreciate you reaching out to me with more specific information, and again, I have listed my contact details below. We look forward to hearing from you.Kind regardsNatalie BussenschuttGeneral ManagerIbis Sydney [email protected]

There are very few places to have a drink in wolli Creek. This is one of them. The good looked good and the staff are friendly.

"Be impressed! It's not an RSL club" With it's cutting edge interior, lounge bar, free WiFi, TAB, Fox Sports, Meeting and Events facilities the South Sydney Graphic Arts club caters for all. The food hits the spot too! Enjoy a bite to eat in our stylish a
We stayed at the Meriton next door and were delighted to find a club nearby, that was until we discovered how expensive it was. $14 for a glass of wine! Oh pleeeease. Yes it was nice and I opted for a large glass but $14? The Espresso Martini was about the same price too, certainly higher than anything we've previously encountered anywhere..We ate in the restaurant, our meals were excellent, service was fabulous. .. and we paid accordingly. As there is nothing else around, you are a captive audience, so be prepared.

A newly beautifully designed two level Mediterranian restaurant. Featuring a winter garden with a glass ceiling, function room, water views, open kitchen and a menu consisting of Mediterranian and Australian modern dishes using only fresh local produce. F
Hubby and I went here for dinner on Saturday night, we didn't have a table booked but the maitre d' enticed us in out of the cold and got us a table straight away, although the restaurant was almost full. We had salt & pepper calamari for an entree and garlic prawns for a main, a wine and beer. Service was excellent, the food was great and the price was exceptional. Our 18 year old son had recommended Neptunes and we were impressed and will definitely be back. :)

No table service. Not a friendly face in here. Not inexpensive by ANY measure. We had the pizza, which was actually okay ... and two chicken schnitzel plates (cold inside). The chicken schnitzel and pizza were delivered at vastly different times, which is a cardinal sin at most restaurants; one doesn't want patrons at the same table dining at different times ... makes for a very awkward meal (Does the person whose food has been delivered eat or wait whilst the meal cools?). $77 AUD for a very unsatisfactory meal. PLEASE dine elsewhere.

Stopped in to soak up the atmosphere & music at this unique establishment. The girls were really impressed with the ladies room decor and the overall ambiance. Coffee and brandy (specially for Helen) meant we were building to a special night and the Gasoline Pony kept the mood.

I tried to submit a customer report but is not listed with TripAdvisor. It is a wonderful good quality reasonable restaurant & deserves a listing. my couple of visits were exceptional & they deserve a good rating. Regards, Terry Huckle
Absolutely no service. Seated and handed the menu. No one took our order we had to approach the counter. We were not offered any drinks or water so had to approach counter during meal to request. The restaurant was quiet. Football screen on in the background and no music or ambience. Just heard football and traffic noise. Food was delicious and good value for money, although more like a pub/rsl menu.

Heineken House has been unveiled as the first flagship Heineken venue in Australia featuring a signature Heineken eight metre-high bottle wall centrepiece towering over the bar. In addition to floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the city skyline, t
I ordered a drink, which was way over priced, from a French Waiter who was not only arrogant but questioned if I had ordered. After going through the till he realised he hadnât poured the drink. When I received the drink there was no apology for the 10 minutes wait but he instead I received half a glass of wine.

Lazybones Lounge Restaurant & Bar features live music seven nights a week, with fantastic food and a wide range of beverages served by friendly helpful staff. There is a small cover charge that goes towards live music. Located in the heart of Marrickville
Very Melbourne-like vibe. It's very red, has lots of retro objet d'art with lots of moody lighting, big comfy leather lounges and gigantic coffee tables between the seating. You would swear it was night-time and you had returned to the hedonism of your youth, if only for an hour or so.When we arrived at around 4pm there was a live jazz band. There were families enjoying a glass of wine and nibbles, while their tweens soaked up the atmosphere and a toddling baby boogied along to the music. A blessed relief from the average family-friendly venue. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon catch-up, before the slog of the working week starts again. We went for a family members birthday (you can book the floor), but I could see there was a large comfortable area that can be curtained off for smaller functions. The kids and adults alike loved it.They have two floors. Have a look at their website as they have a mix of acts, over a month. Anything from African, jazz, blues, acoustic etc. They do have singersAccess is around the corner from Marrickville road. There is no disabled access.Enjoy!
