This is basically a sports bar. You don't go there for the food; you go to watch the latest big sports event or the average game of the week on the many big TVs inside and out, and to have something to eat while you're there. Having said that, I'll add that it's not bad food. Fish and chips were fresh, eggs Benedict good even served for a late lunch while watching the World Cup on a broiling afternoon, and lots of craft beers on tap. There are a number of restaurants/pubs along Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains. All in all, a fairly good decision, this.

Cocktails, light fare, and desserts.
Had a nice couple of drinks with friends here. The decor is quite beautiful, and the hotel is excellent. Great service, as you would expect with a Ritz Carlton.Highly recommended.

North Street (as many patrons refer to it) is a neighborhood restaurant, which offers an upscale menu, as well as a wide range of selections from its famous wood-fired pizza to a Rib Eye, fresh salmon, pasta entrees or featured specials of the day. North
I wish I had taken a picture of my dinner companionâs grilled shrimp appetizer before she started eating it, because the presentation was that youâd see in a high priced NYC eatery( and so was the taste!) My choice of an appetizer, a truffled burrata served with tomatoes, put on the warm crusty bread was delightful. As for entrees- mine a pan-seared red snapper with a squash sauce was cooked to perfection and the sauce was unusual and delicious. My friend was just as pleased with her seared salmon served with roasted potatoes and spinach. Although we went for the seafood tonight, there is a good variety of that wood fired pizza that is in the name. We saw a number of diners enjoying said pizza sitting at the beautiful wood bar or in the dining room.Yesterday here was almost like summer and on such days this establishment has a large deck, just expanded, where you can have an after work drink or come to dine. Only about 45 minutes out of Manhattan by car, North Street Tavern provides great eats and drinks for the golfers right out the door at Maplemore (?) or for those of us who never swing a club, but love a good meal and a tasty beverage at a reasonable price. Thank you for such a great review. I appreciate that you took the time and it was a pleasure meeting you the other night. Joe

Everything about this gastropub was delightful, from the beer menu (which included several cider options) to the genuinely friendly service. The fried cod in my sandwich was perfect, as was the sweet nutty bread it was served on; my husband was equally pleased with his sushi-grade tuna. And the mashed potatoes were fabulous. We ate dinner on a Saturday night, when it was busy but not jam-packed. My husband has also been on Sunday afternoon during football season, when he said it was surprisingly less crowded (but still quite friendly, with several TVs on the pub side). So glad it's within walking distance from where we live!

Parking is limited in the area--there is some street parking and municipal pay-to-park lots. The restaurant is a high class sports bar with several televisions flowers on the tables cloth napkins, and a smartly uniformed staff. It has full bar service. The service is very fine and the food was excellent.

Lilly's is a small plates restaurants perfect for small groups.
We went to Lillyâs yesterday to celebrate my husband graduating college. Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this place. I ordered salad with shrimps. Salad arrived without shrimps and when I told them, they said ok. And then they brought 5 shrimps on a plate... and they were burned! How can you bring this to a customer? Then my husbandâs burger was over cooked, my sister in law didnât get her dish until later... it was just awful, we had to wait so long to finally eat. Bad service, bad food. Wonât be coming back and wonât recommend this place to anyone.

Lazy Boy Saloon is located in Downtown White Plains. The Lazy has an amazing bar and a great beer menu unfortunately that is when the good time ends. The unisex bathroom was filthy and disgusting, we also noticed the waitress pet a dog in middle of food service who then proceed to serve meals to the patrons ( we love dogs but you have to wash your hands if you are handling food). Jolly Chriss.

This place use to serve a real good hamburger but boy have times changed. I got something that resembled a store bought thin frozen pattie, the waitress agreed and took it back. 5 minutes later another member of staff brought the same plate/same food back to the table to tell me the chef had sent it back out to me and to tell me thatâs the size they all were! Very disappointing visit.

This was a last minute choice. The restaurant was nearly full. The menu has a large choice of appetizers. About six salad entrees. The salads are huge. Salads approximately $9-11 with the ability to add a protein from $5-7. There are multiple burger choices with several types of meat - Kobe, Lamb, Turkey, etc. the service was very nice. The time from ordering to food on the table was not very long. We had burgers and salads and all were very good. The prices were moderate. Not to expensive. Dessert menu available. Desserts $7 each. Tables are close together%. Unfortunately the couple next to us fought the entire time they where there. Annoying but not the restaurants fault.Very low level of white noise. There is a free parking lot behind the restaurant. Not well lighted and uphill to retrieve your car.

Excellent selection of breakfast items... awesome table service! Iâd definitely come back! I ordered the mushroom hash with salmon, my husband ordered the silver dollar pancakes and my daughter ordered the granola/fruit bowl and sausage... everything was delicious. The restaurant uses real butter and real maple syrup! Homemade at its best!
