We went to the Chalford House Hotel restaurant for Sunday lunch today. We had a lovely table overlooking the beautiful garden in the very sunny and light conservatory. We were welcomed by the staff, who were really attentive throughout. My two sons had the roast beef, I had chicken and my husband had gammon. The food was fantastic, especially the great selection of vegetables. We left very full up and very happy with our experience. We will definitely be back!

This lovely pub was a lucky find for us en route to Centerparcs - and ended up being a brilliant start to our holiday. Beautiful setting, terrific food, and friendly and attentive landlord. Best ploughmanâs lunch Iâve ever eaten. Itâs slightly off the beaten track but so worth a visit.

Great place to stay in this area - rooms are clean, bright and have all the little extras like good selection of drinks and nice toiletries. Excellent service, the staff worked so hard to make our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast was just great - really large selection of fresh fruits, lovely butchers bacon and deliciously cooked! The meals in the evening were just great too! Highly recommend this place!

Pub With Rooms And Fabulous Food
Stayed here for one night whilst on a family trip to Longleat. While the Weymouth Arms has a classic look our room and bathroom were nicely finished and furnished. The bathroom was particularly well done, and my son loved the exposed wooden beams. The service and greeting was informal and friendly, just right for this type of establishment. The breakfast was excellent, with both continental and hot options. Recommended.

Booked a table with no problem.Polite staff and very helpful. The food, very reasonably priced food. We had Sunday lunches. My 6 year old had a childâs sausage and chips meal. Looked fab and she ate it all.The childâs roast dinner was a good size too.Adults portion size was very generous. The meat was good, Yorkshire puddings great, the pickled red cabbage nice. The veg......I donât put raw red onion on my Sunday lunch lol! The shared veg was a red pinion a few small carrots and some sugar snap peas?!?! Not enough for three really and a very odd selection. The roast potatoes were grainy?!? Not nice at all really. The young waitress was lovely and helpful. We did have to ask for the music to be turned down as it was rather loud and we couldnât hear each other then after ten minutes it was turned up again.I would go back to try something else as it wasnât a really bad place maybe itâs just the Sunday roasts were not for us x

Took the grandchildren here one Saturday good playground and lots of ball playing space. However I feel I must mention that when we went to the bar to order the drinks the choice of kids drinks is woeful. No fruit shoots no J20 the only other option was squash flavours. ( probably more profit per glass)Also the barman was one of the most miserable and unfriendly I have encountered.Would not be my first choice in the area.

Just returned from a Sunday lunch celebrating Fatherâs Day. I have to say we had a wonderful meal. 4 adults and 2 children. We all had roast dinners, chicken, beef, belly pork and gammon. The meat came with roast potatoes, vegetables, and a Yorkshire pudding. We also had desserts..... rocky road brownies, apple and cinnamon crumble and a strawberry ice cream. A bottle of prosecco (over priced at £24) washed the lunch down nicely. Would recommend this pub âºï¸

A traditional British Country Inn and B&B with real ales and classic pub food and grills. A family friendly pub with large garden and cosy restaurant and bar.
Arrived late but were greeted by lovely staff who were accommodating. Room was spacious and comfortable, only negative was the wet room had a bit of a damp smell...i think some water has gotten under the tiles.Breakfast was fantastic and the gluten free bread for my wife was a nice surprise.Would recommend and would definitely return somedayMany thanks for taking the time to post a review here on TripAdvisorI am delighted that you enjoyed your recent stay with us - I will be sure to investigate the 'damp smell'I hope to be able to welcome you again in the near futureKind regardsRobert MuskerInnkeeper

Had been here before and thought it would be good for lunch, cannot think why we have not eaten here before. A magnificent lunch and an attentive host with Sally. Prices were very keen for an out of town restaurant and the food excellent. Canât wait to go again, Thanks Sally And well done.
