Packed place. Nice host. We a to wait 20 mins but no problem there. Then our food took like 30 mins because there was a party. Highly suggested to have a different "kitchen" do the food for big groups and that way other customer don't have to wait. We will be back anyhow. Great sports bar.

Palette calls it shelf an American Eatery restaurant, the name is false. The definition of Palette is â a comparable range, quality, or use of available elements, rich palette of tones and timbres, palette of flavors, palette of vegetablesâ There are know rich tones of flavors or vegetables in the food. I was in Warsaw IN. and stop at Palette for dinner. I order the chicken carbonara pasta, the chicken was so hard I could not get my fork into it. I requested that the meal be returned, and I order the shrimp pasta. The shrimp pasta had a fishy smell and the shrimp was not deveined. The Manager came over and ask if there was anything else, she could do, I said no thank you. The Manager proceed to rip up the bill and said there was no pleasing me. GOOD FOOD WOULD HAVE PLEASED ME. We appreciate your feedback. We believe in our food and service, but consistency is important to us, and we are sorry you had a disappointing experience. After hearing enticing ads on the radio, we gave this place a try. Big mistake! My husband and I are allergic to cigarette smoke. Just about everyone in there was smoking. The service was slow, food was mediocre, and there were loud drunk people using foul language. We like a good time but hey..... we don't need to hear the details of your love life.

We ate an early dinner at the newTexas Roadhouse in Warsaw this afternoon. We were very impressed! First of all, we used the call ahead service and were seated right away when we arrived. Although there is only one parking spot designated for veterans, the manager said they are working on putting more designated spots around the corner from the current spot. Then we received a "'local hero" discount on our food bill for 20%. Our appetizer of rattlesnake bites was very good: cheesy and just the right amount of heat. Our entrees of sirloin and the grilled shrimp were excellent. The steak was tender and the shrimp was grilled just right! The chili is always a good choice as one of the two side choices for each entree. I also enjoyed the 18 ounce Jamaican Cowboy margarita! Perfect blend of pineapple and orange juices with the liquors! For dessert, we absolutely loved the warm Granny Apple Classic with a scoop of ice cream! That is definitely a must have again! Because they were so busy, the dessert took quite a while to come, so the manager took the charge off the bill. Excellent customer service! Our server, Raelynn, was outstanding! She was attentive, efficient, and very personable!

We loved our visit to The Downtown. It was a dreary rainy night and we met friends for dinner. The rustic beef sandwich was incredible, perfectly prepared. My darling ordered the old fashioned salad, & the tenderloin sandwich. He loved them both. We did enjoy a top shelf cocktail, and it was superb. We hope to go back soon!

We were a 10 person party so maybe that's why everything took so long. My steak was fairly tough. I would've sent it back but I was fairly hungry. Flavor of my dish was very average. In all fairness, Applebee's has never been a favorite of mine but that's where my son wanted to go for his celebratory dinner. They usually use far too much seasoning for my taste.

We met friends last night at the Barbee Hotel Restaurant and all I can say is "Wow"! The service was wonderful and the food was simply outstanding. Three of us had the walleye and it was perfectly done- lightly breaded and fried. My husband and another friend had the pork shank osso bucco, another huge hit. The salads were fresh, plentiful and the dressings were superb . It is off season here in lake country but the buzz in our area is that even during the busy summer this restaurant is killing it. The upstairs is a bar catering to a younger crowd but the pizzas are known to be the bomb. The Barbee is a bit of a drive from Warsaw but we need to show this restaurant some love. You will not be disappointed!

I had eaten before ago at Mad Anthony's with a group of girlfriends and the food was great. This time, my husband and I were driving through Warsaw and decided to stop. This time, however, our hamburgers were just a bit overdone and not as juicy as the one I had there before. But the fries were good. We would give it another chance if we are in that area again.
