Went here for lunch and dinner on separate days. Tried several different cocktails, beers, menu items. The food was good and on par for this type of restaurant (casual dining, burger place). Wide variety of menu items, not just burgers but salads, sandwiches and a pretty varied tropical drink menu. Prices reasonable for Maui. Not crowded either visit which was nice as we didn't have to wait 30-45 minuted for a table. Wait persons were nice, efficient, got the orders correct and food was delivered quickly and hot. Evertyhing was fresh and my salad was all fresh, no wilted salad as we had experienced in other establishiments (maybe due to heat & humidity). It was hot the week we visited, 90's and humidity was high. This is more open air but they had all the fans going.Overall both visits were good, lunch staff was friendlier and more enjoyable than dinner staff. When we left at lunch we were thanked and were given a good bye. At dinner, we walked past what seemed like management but not a word said. So good food at good prices (for Maui) but average experience, better with lunch staff though.

Ama Bar & Grill In Hawaii, canoe regattas serve as a weekly gathering for paddlers and their families to eat, drink, relax, laugh and play by the ocean. To celebrate Hawaii's modern canoe lifestyle and The Fairmont Kea Lani's outrigger canoe experience, t
As parents with two young children we fell in love with the the Kea Lani . Over twenty years our Family has vacationed there twelve times. Our favorite on-site restaurants were Cafe Ciao and The Polo Grill. After the Fairmont chain bought the hotel, things changed drastically. Gone are our favorite restaurants and the ambiance of the unpretentious and warm Island spirit. Until today. My wife and I returned to visit this afternoon (we now stay elsewhere) to reminisce and remember what once had been a treasure. We decided to recount our fond memories for a sunset drink and appetizers ("pupus") at the Polo Grill, now reopened and renamed "Ama Bar and Grill". We were pleasantly surprised! Our waiter, Zach, was not only incredibly attentive and personable, but remembered us by name after our fleeting visit! The drinks and small bites were good, but Zach's personality and attention to detail reminded us of what we thought we had lost. Keep up the good work Kea Lani (I mean Fairmont)! Please restore the spirit of Aloha and much Mahalo to Zach (from Kihei) for making us , once again, feel "E Komo Mai" ("welcome home")!Aloha EmGoBlue and heartfelt mahalo for returning to the resort after so many years and sharing your experience at AMA with us. I couldn't be more proud to learn about how you were touched by Zach's aloha spirit, kindness and dedication in assisting you.in having the ultimate dining experience and reminding you of what makes our resort so special. We certainly know Zach is a huge asset to our team and it will be a real treat to share your kind words with him today. I'm sure he will be flattered by your kind words. On behalf of the entire hotel and AMA Bar & Grill, we cannot wait to welcome you back for another memorable experience!Warmest aloha, Lisa Nordstrom

I sat out ont eh deck, heard the music from inside, light breezes, it was lovely! and the dessert was so light adn fantastic, some kind of cheesecake with chocolate adn baileys and salted caramel or something.

I get it- youâre staying at the Grand Wailea. Stuff is pricey, whatevs... I donât mind paying the premium for convenience and view. Itâs all good. But $17 for a little bowl of penne on the kids menu (that doesnât list prices)? Youâre killing me!!! Gluten free crusts were a big help and our kids loved the plush turtles. All good :)

Kapa Bar & Grill, located poolside at Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, features island-inspired cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails sourced from Maui's own farmers, ranchers and fishermen.
Twice we dined here: lunch and dinner. The fish sandwiches were delicious and the sushi was scrumptious. The reason we dined here twice, was the food was tasty, diners were dressed super casually, people watching at the pool was entertaining, the atmosphere was relaxing, the open air restaurant was breezy, and the service was quick.

The staff at this restaurant were very attentive and very professional. The food was excellent and as guaranteed, the fish was fresh. Our party of four ordered a variety of dishes and all were excellent. While this is a chain restaurant, the atmosphere and food was excellent.

Pair handcrafted cocktails with island pupu (appetizers) as you take in Pacific Ocean views at our laid-back lounge.
Did not eat here, but had several cocktails at the bar. The service was first rate and the drinks were awesome. The view was incredible. The bar was covered, but otherwise open air. There was a Hawaiian singer and dancer providing entertainment as well.
