Stayed next door apartment for a week and we had a half plate (breakfast and dinner). Breakfast was the same all the days during the week. There was basicly orange juice, coffee and tea, baguette, one cheese, ham, old fruit, cereals and eggs (that had to cook themselves). The same set started to feel bad the third day, but no change to the range did not come. Dinners were basic food, nothing wonderful. A few ok doses, but for example, the steaks were burnt completely tasteless. The atmosphere was completely missing in the restaurant, it was low and fairly cold.

We ate here for lunch. It is cantina style service, but expect to wait 10 mins for your food to arrive. This is because it is all freshly prepared - and it shows. I had the burger and it was excellent. Surprisingly great food for the side of a ski slope.

Every time when we are in Val Thorens, we have to come to Jasper for at least once.Nice food and friendly staff is all we need.(One piece of advice for the resto though: avoid sticking chopsticks vertically in the wok - it can send a misleading message in certain cultures.)We are delighted that our restaurant you at pleased. I have not been to Val Thorens for a couple of years and I was keen to revisit here to see if the standard of food was up to scratch- I need not have worried.The friendly staff convinced me to try the âplat du jourâ which was a breaded veal escalope served with aubergine in tomato sauce and rice .It was delicious!I took a tiramisu for dessert but it was disappointing because it was too fatty and not enough liqueur in it.The staff were all very friendly and efficient.I was also pleasantly surprised by the upgrade of the toilets which are more easily accessed and very nice.Hello John,Thank you for your review. We required swift sustenance after a long journey arriving at lunch-time. It was not busy on a beautiful sunny day. The service was swift, the Pizzas were excellent (and very good size). It was slightly expensive (20Euros/pizza), but on balance very good value for money.

Went for lunch a couple of times. Friendly staff, food variable, lovely location at top of Bruyeres 1 lift.Good food was Tarte Beaufort, Cafe Gourmand, Salade Savoyarde, average was omelette Savoyarde,Tartiflette. On very sunny days staff hand out white trilby hats, all one size so can be amusing! Best tables go to those who have booked, but we managed to get tables when turning up on spec.Not my favourite place, but our friends liked it.Bonjour Jerseyman !Thank you for you review. Good quality restaurant that serves an excellent and welcome pizza for a reasonable price (c Euro 15). Other dishes a little more expensive than average but portions looked huge. Service is friendly. Food accompanied by a DJ who was playing (to my elderly ears strange but invigorating) music that one of my children told me was electronic dance music. The place for a long lunch especially if you are under 30!

Went as a group and served quickly and attentively. Servers answered our questions and the food was amazing. Ordered the BOITE CHAUDE mont dâor AOP, sélection de charcuteries, pommes de terre, salade, very big serving and quite good. Two burgers were very good with good sized salad and fries, you can tell the bun was homemade, meat was fresh and cooked as requested. The pizza was huge and really good. Our waiter, Tiffany, did a very enthusiastic and professional presentation of the fresh meats available. Her suggestion of an off-the menu flank steak style beef for two was spot on.
