We were here for the first time and we liked the vibe and the pintxos. My favorite was the pork belly. We came back after a couple nights and we were recognized and treated as return customers by the owner. It is always nice to be recognized. Wish we live in San Sebastian so we can eat here a couple of times every week.

We walked along the beach, went up to the hill on a fenicular and decided we were a little peckish. In the land of pinxto and tapas, why not have a tapas to satisfy our hunger pangs. So off we go hunting for one. We stumbled upon bar Pepe and Iâm so glad we did. The squid was great! The pork and fish were tasty too, but the squid was definitely amazing.Thanks for your visit.

We saw this bar featured on bbc2 food programme before we travelled and had to give it a goYou have to order tortilla at 7pm for collection at 8pmWe joined the queue at 18.35 and thank goodness we did as we got the last piece of tortilla available and had to share it and it was as good as promised They only make 1 each evening and when itâs gone itâs gone so if you donât order ahead no chance !No room inside so we ate and drank on the street outside which only added to the atmosphere This is a must do if you are in San Sebastián

Travel with friends, the pintxos are amazing and all the dishes too, especially fish. Very good atmosphere and very friendly staff. 100 % recommendable.

Of the 12-13? (we lost count) pintxos bars we visited during our entire trip to Basque country this ranked as one of my top 3. The boquerones (vinegar-cured white anchovies) were AMAZING, firm but not mushy on delicious bread and paired with the best combinations of toppings (we tried the jardiniera which was diced fresh peppers, crema centollo a creamy crab sauce, olive paste, trout roe, and foie ones and they were all tastier than the last). It was never that crowded when we went and the service was friendlier than at most of the bars. It was actually one of only 2 places we went to twice over the course of our trip. If you love anchovies, this is a MUST TRY. Closed on Sundays.

Great food. Donât take the plates and eat the paint shows one by one, and the ones that are hot or amazing. Once they make them for you fresh in the kitchen. Just delicious, the wild mushroom crêpes, The tomato salad, actually, just everything that you can think of is good they are. Service is great and itâs all family-owned which is just wonderful. Must give it a try! What a beautiful place located just a few steps away from the coast and only 10minutes drive from San Sebastián city centre.One of my customers recommend this place and I have to agree:Amazing food, all the suppliers from local CASERIOS, and tones of home made sider.The service was outstanding as well as the food.A must if you are around the area.Donât forget to make a reservation.Otherwise, no chance of getting a table.

My wife and I visited here on a Wednesday lunchtime, we could hear the throng of people from miles away. Really lovely food and great value, we had the fried chicken and tomato salad and couldnât fault it, particularly the chicken.
