Unique floating location on the Columbia River at the Port of Camas/Washougal with views of Mt Hood. Gets very busy on the sunny days, best time to avoid a wait list is on the rainy days. Open year round, closed on major holidays.
My family of four were here on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We had heard great things about the Puffin and being boat owners, we love trying different waterfront dining. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our dining experience. We were crammed into a corner table in a crowded room (there were only three families here eating at the same time and we were seated all clustered together.) The windows donât open so we couldnât enjoy the beautiful day...and the closed-in room seemed stuffy and weathered. And...the food was frankly downright inedible. My Jamaican jerk tacos were soggy, dripping with juice, and flavorless. I couldnât even eat them with my fingers because the tortillas ripped apart from the over-stuffed sogginess. My childâs flavorless chicken fingers and happy fries tasted microwaved, instead of fried or even baked. Rarely do I even think of sending food back to the kitchen and make do with what I ordered, but here we left before even considering this option because the overall experience was just so overwhelmingly disappointing. We went home and ate food there instead, regretting our money spent at the Puffin. Darn it. I fee bad sharing that because I am one to usually find a positive spin for things. If you are hoping for on-the-river dining in the Vancouver area, I suggest heading to the Island Cafe where you can actually sit outside, enjoy the weather while sitting outside on the river, and actually have some flavorful food to eat.

Restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The restaurant and bar are seperated by a large saltwater fish tank. The tank holds some very large speciman tropical fish...beautiful. The menu is reasonably priced and offers your standard fare. The salmon was good but a little on the dry side. A bar menu is available only in the bar during happy hour.

We stop in to Mill City quite frequently. The beer choices are good, but I have grown bored with the food. It is expensive and nothing fancy. And the options are limited and donât change. I canât believe the two tiny bland dessert options cost upward of $9! Yikes! Maybe I am the only beer-drinking dessert eater? Will come back for beer, but not food. Too many other food venues close by in town to be disappointed here.

This is a very popular local hang out that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I love this place, mostly because it's close to my job, but seedy enough that I rarely run into people from work there. These are two very important features to me.The happy hour menu is varied, and the food is pretty good. I don't think I have ever ordered anything off the happy hour menu that I didn't like, and I've ordered most things. Of course, it's a dive bar happy hour menu â â it's not inventive in the slightest. It's the type of food that goes perfect with a beer or a cocktail â â of which are served generously, quickly, and at the right temperature. There seem to be some lottery machines on the bar counter (not my thing), and plenty of pool tables (definitely my thing after two drinks). Another big plus is that you can go there on game day, without being completely overwhelmed by the sound of the game or the crowd. There are plenty of places to sit where watching and hearing the game is just a little bit of background noise, but also plenty of places to sit where the game is front row center for people who are interested. Cons: The music seems to switch from country to hip-hop around eight or 9 PM; not my personal favorite. It's also a bit on the large side for my tastes â â I definitely prefer a smaller dive bar. But for what it is, this place is pretty great :-)

Bandits is a local bar that serves food, bar food. I think with that in mind this place isnt too bad. Unfortunately I asked for a recommendation form the bar tender and was told the salmon burger is exceptional, it wasn't. It was just a fishy burger, nothing more. The rest of the appetizers and finger food were ok and in the end I think had I stuck with the bar food I would have been better off. The place is cool, and the crowd seemed local and friendly. If I was to return I would order differently, or stick to drinking.

Went here for my sons birthday, been back a number of times. Food is fantastic. Lots of different choices and something for everyone in the family. Lots of different choices. Love the atmosphere. We usually try to sit outside and enjoy watching people walk up and down Main St. Waitresses have all been extremely nice and friendly.

Family friendly English style pub. Great food, and spirits for the adults. Featuring a large patio and great service.
Located downtown Troutdale, this small pub offers a special Monday thru Friday. Thursday night's being filet mignon. The steak is priced at $17 and includes potato and vegetables. For the price, it is a reasonable choice.

Located at McMenamin's Edgefield
A friend of mine wanted to go see Avengers Endgame and suggested we go see it at Edgefield Power Station Theater. So we spent a little time checking out Edfield until it was time to go into the theater. We went inside the theater when they started seating for the show and ordered a meal. I ordered a cheese burger and a Terminator Stout to go with it.It was so relaxing to sit comfortably and enjoy a meal while watching this Blockbuster movie.I feel like I enjoyed seeing it here much more than I would have by seeing it at a huge theater packed with tons of people packed like sardines. And you feel close to the screen no mater where you sit in this theater.was also nice to see the items before the film about their new new establishment and the UFOfest coming up at Hotel Oregon.

Stopped while waiting for the weather to clear along the gorge. Excellent food. I enjoyed a great burger for lunch, because the aroma was really inviting from the lot. It was completely decorated for Halloween. Really very inviting. My waitress was very accomidating. Stop by!
