Not impressed! Waited quite awhile for service, and it was not friendly. Over charged for chairs. I'd recommend going next door to the hostel restaurant. They were cheaper and quite friendly!

El Social Asian fusion restaurant and bar located in the center of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua Happy hour all day everyday $1 rum and vodka drinks. We have awesome food and friendly staff. Dog friendly.

The burgers here were amazing, the bartender was the bomb - every drink we tried was absolutely amazing and he makes the besttttt bloody mary (which is more similar to a Caesar, which makes this Canadian very happy!). We went here on back to back days as we couldn't resist it. Highly recommended!

Really good draught beer! Sadly they dis not have IPA when we were visiting, but they might have it soon. The prices are not that bad either.

Da surf spot is a cute little outdoor eating taco stand right on Santana beach within spitting distance from the Rancho Santana clubhouse. Simple tacos, smoothies, chips. Cheap breakfasts and a fun owner who aims to please. A great place to have a cold one after surfing or an Alt lunch or breakfast stop

Beach front bar, great food, daily specials, pool table, darts, live music, and events! We have it all! We pride our selves on offering good service, along with a fun beach atmosphere! The view canât be beat!

A bar just off the beach. Friendly atmosphere and service. We had a very good lunchtime salad here. Looks quite busy in the evenings and seems to have regular DJ nights.Thank you so much for your kind words. We were just opening when you wrote this review, so we have grown so much since than. We look forward to seeing you again and being able to enjoy all the fun events we have here.

Some friends of our fished with the owners of this place and they cooked us up a spectacular meal with the fish they caught for a very reasonable price. They were great guys, friendly and very attentive. Would definitely go back!

After recent renovations, this little Sandwich shop has turned into a restaurant with an Urban feel and a vibe that make you never want to leave. Still serving up breakfast and deli sandwiches everyone knows and loves, and additionally is now open evening

I had twice the dale burger. Once delivered to my hotel and once at the restaurant. It was great and the rum with maracuya was great accompaniment.

We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 6am to 8.30pm. Nicaraguan and American options as well as pizza night Wednesdays and Sundays. Hand crafted cocktails and large beer and wine selection. Bar seating, indoor tables, and outdoor tables by the pool.

I came to Nicawaves on a recommendation from another surfer friend. I could not have been more happy with my decision. I traveled solo and did the surf package, which I highly recommend as you will truly be treated like VIP! I chose a private room, and the accommodations were beautiful, clean, and had amazing views of the lush gardens. (I also had A/C!! Heaven!)At Nicawaves you are in a prime location for some of THE BEST surf breaks. (Popoyo, Santana, and Beginner's Bay). I loved the boat trip to Lance's Left, and wished I had done it more than just the one time that week. I had a local surf guide named Gerald who took great care in choosing the best breaks for me and my experience level. He also took some of the most amazing pictures of my surfing and shared them with me! I highly recommend asking for Gerald as your personal surf guide at Nicawaves!!Zach is also an amazing surf guide at Nicawaves with expert knowledge of the breaks and surf techniques. Part of what makes Nicawaves a great place to stay is the people you will meet there. I met so many other surfers from all over the world (Norway, Australia, Hawaii, France...) and we had the best time hanging out, sharing waves and drinking beers together.By far one of the best surf hotels I've ever visited! Can't wait to go again!!
