Booked a table, visiting area. Staff ok and were served promptly. Menu wasnât that inspiring but it was lobster week! So lobster was ordered .. very underwhelming considering the price of it (£30.00), fish and chips .. very small portion of fish sat on top of some cheap frozen chips with a pot of dried up mushy peas, (£12.99) and lastly the pork parcels .. again very small portion, 2 spring rolls with a mound of leaves and dipping sauce, honestly thought we had ordered a starter in error. That came with a dish of the lack lustre chips (£12.00). Dessert saved the day though, we certainly had room for one! All in all, very over priced. Looking at a few of the other reviews, the menu hasnât changed at all in years!

Landlord Julian Wallis and his team welcome you to this traditional inn . The Eel's Foot nestles in the pretty hamlet of Eastbridge in the heart of the Heritage Coast and on the doorstep of RSPB Minsmere Reserve. We are fortunate to be part of the Adnams
We have stayed at this pub with rooms several times as it's very close to the Minsmere RSPB reserve. Everything about this place is delightful - the rooms are really nicely decorated and very comfortable, the pub has bags of atmosphere (and does great food) and it's in one of the most beautiful bits of the UK, just by the Minsmere levels. It's got a magical atmosphere - surrounded by reed beds and coppiced woodland and it's lovely being in a pub that really feels like it's part of a thriving community. The breakfasts are enormous and made with local ingredients and you are made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff. The pub serves great beer too and there is a garden with a play area. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed in their small campsite which was good and we were able to eat in their restaurant. They also have entertainment which was well worth visiting. The food was varied and delicious especially the Sunday lunch
Ogilvie's Grill House at Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel specialises in beef cuts which are sourced locally. Our 5 cuts of beef sit alongside our dry rub chicken dishes and our seasonal seafood plates. At Ogilvie's you are guaranteed a warm welcome and a per
We paid a visit to Thorpeness Golf Club whilst we were on holiday in Sizewell (Beachview Caravan Park) we didnât know what to expect as Ogilvies hasnât got many reviews as yet. No need to worry though as Iâm sure excellent reviews will be coming soon, as the service and quality of food is excellent. Large portions and good value for money. My wife said her fish and chips were amazing. If in the area and looking for somewhere to have breakfast, lunch or tea definitely give this place a go. Youâll not be disappointed.

Tucked away on Crabbe Street you will find The Cross Keys, Aldeburgh where the finest Adnams brews, spirits and vintages are served. Delicious food and warm and friendly service await you.
Used to be a classic local pub but now has aimed towards the London holiday makers. Food is mediocre and ceilings are too low for the deco they have gone for.Thank yo Joe for your review, we appreciate your feedback,All the bestThe Cross Keys Management Team

Eliza's Thai Street Cafe is a wonderful seasonal pop up street cafe based at DP's BAR Aldeburgh UK. We serve authentic freshly prepared thai dishes. Fresh fish from The fishermen on aldeburgh beach cooked thai style. Started with my wonderful Thai friend
Its been a few years since we visited this place and what luck the food is delicious. They will make it as authentic as your taste budsrequire. We ate in the bar but I understand there is a more formal restaurant space upstairs should you require it. Excellent.Thank you so much for taking the time to review our street food cafe. Iâve just logged on to add a review and see 14bexr has beaten me to it! I was one of the dog club group.....and I completely agree with whatâs already been written about our two evenings at The Mill Inn. Tom and our waiter (sorry didnât get your name) were so accommodating and not at all put out by our big group of people and dogs as we all piled in. It was service with a smile throughout both evenings. From the delicious food, which all arrived at the same time, to the attentive service - all made for two brilliant evenings for our weekend away. Thank you and I look forward to revisiting again.

We are a country pub with dining. We are child & dog friendly. Closed all day Monday and Tuesday. Food served Wednesday to Sunday, Wed to Sat 12.00-2.00pm & Evenings 6.00pm-8.30pm. Long Sunday lunch served 12.00 to 3.30pm. Booking recommended at weekends.
We arrived with our 3 cocker spaniels and our 6 year old granddaughter Evie for lunch. The landlord Andy could not have been more welcoming. He paid particular attention to our granddaughter and encouraged her to eat all her lunch which Evie did. After clearing the table much to Evieâs delight he brought her 2 bags of sweets. The food was tasty and the menu had something for everyone. Thoroughly recommend this pub. In fact the next day my wife and I enjoyed a great evening meal without dogs or granddaughter. My steak was delicious and perfectly cooked and my wife loved the sea bream.Thank you for taking the time to review us & we are really pleased you enjoyed your experience here at the Old Chequers pub.Thank you again.

The Dolphin, now the hub of the community, is an ideal resting base to explore Thorpeness and our neighbouring towns Aldeburgh and Southwold, or just enjoy a peaceful walk around Snape Maltings and RSPB Minsmere reserve plus many more local must sees. A s
The pub is right in the centre of Thorpeness - a lovely if slightly quirky village close to Aldeburgh. Weâve stopped several times for a drink (the beers are excellent) but tried out the food for the first time with friends.Despite being busy (itâs a very popular pub) the service was efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. Between the four of us we sampled a good range of dishes, starters, mains and deserts, and all of them were spot on. A good wine list, reasonably priced, complements the food. Weâd expected good pub food but what we got was much better - I donât particularly like the phrase gastro-pub but that fits the bill here. We had a great evening and thoroughly recommend the place.
