Visited for lunch while on a business trip. The place offers a a inch of tvâs. Bar/pub type atmosphere but a step up perhaps. Food was very good and service was as well. It was very crowded for lunch so must be a go to for locals. Pub type menu with some extras. Extremely large menu as well.

This was my first time here and I was very disappointed in the pizza. There is a beautiful stone/brick oven in the restaurant. When I saw that I thought to myself, wow, this should be good. Well we ordered the Margherita Pizza. I specifically asked the waitress if they had fresh basil and garlic and she said yes. It certainly did not have anything fresh on it. Dried up basil? from a shaker. No garlic. Chewy cheese like rubber. The sauce was very bland. If I hadnât been so hungry and with a friend I would have sent it back. Needless to say, I will never order a pizza there again. Especially at $12.99. The frozen pizza from Kroger is 10 times better! On a lighter note, the Greek salad was really good. Also, No fresh lime for beer. Probably wonât go back. Not very handicap friendly. I think there were two small tables close to the oven. Everything else you have to step up to.

The Pappy Burger is thick and juicy with melted cheddar and chipotle mayo. Comes with lettuce, tomato and onion. Very good filling single but also available as a double and triple. The fries were lacking and the all you can eat white fish had a tasteless breading. Good options for cold draft beer and beer by the can is $1.75 every day.Excellent service.

Hit Island House for the first time. It was small and crowded. It looks like they have a nice deck that would be great in the summer and obviously it would be less crowded. Had one drink and left.

Had wings and pizza here tonight. Wings were very tasty. Pizza is a thin crust and could have been cooked a bit longer, but was good. Enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service. Would definitely return. Has a nice, diverse menu.

Actually the food is pretty good and the waitresses are very nice. The problem is the kitchen staff. Just too slow for an hour lunch. Buffet is gone which used to get you in and out fast. If you are off work and having a beer and a bite and no big hurry, still a stop for you. If not, move on down the road 3 miles to Mill Dam.
We drove over and were lucky to find parking as the parking situation can be difficult. They had live music that was god sitting outside and the outdoor area is relaxing. Great place to have drinks and maybe an appetizer like the "penny chips" that were good. Overall though the food was average compared to other places on the lake. The indoor area including the restrooms needs remodeled badly but most seasonal places on the lake are similar. Nice people on the staff and a good overall experience.
So this was the first place we went to on our new boat for dinner. I was really torn on a three or four star rating. We ordered the nachos and pretzels bites. The waitress told us they were good size portions and the nachos were big. Not so much. Good for one person. The nachos could be bigger and have more meat and cheese. They were kinda dry. The bites were very good. The docks were good enough to dock in and walk on, nothing special. The bathrooms are pretty rough, FYI. The staff was friendly and the inside was open and nice to seat at. We ate outside and the view is great. The tables are really comfortable and are real tables and chairs. So many time I find outdoor seating to always be cheap plastic chairs. So I landed on four stars for the view, outdoor seating and that they offer a first responder and military discount on Thursday nights. So the food is three but I will support them as they support the ones that keep us safe so I gave them a four. Give it a try and I think we will go back.

As others have mentioned this place is a total dive. But the best places are. The prices vs serving size is phenomenal. We fed 3 with drinks and lots of leftovers for $40. Papa Boo's is still my favorite lake hangout but this is a close second.

Situated right on Buckeye Lake, you will absolutely feel like you are on vacation here. Enjoy the great bands, watching the boats go by, and the food and drinks are excellent. Try the Pina Colada on a hot day - refreshing! They have some gluten free options, too. The GF pizza is one of the best around. Enjoy!
