Every time Iâve been there, the bar service has been great. All up until we meet the grey haired elder chap (compared to the rest) who is one rude wave of misery! I believe he is the manager (or at least he thinks he is) and he sucks the life out of every experience of being in there. God bless those (great) people who have to work with him. Get rid of him and youâve got a perfect boozer.Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that on this occasion you only deemed us a three star. The team has a fantastic working relationship with our Manager and he is integral to what makes the pub such a great place to be. I hope that on future visits this will be evident for you to see.

The Plough on the Hill is one minute from Junction 15 on the M4. An ideal meeting place and is a refurbished Gastro Pub serving freshly cooked food. We provide free wifi and welcome customers from 10am and are open all day.
A really good value lunch with seafood-prawns made with very fresh bread . Not too expensive and quickly served. The pub was not too crowded and the serving staff polite and helpful!

This is my local. Met up with a friend for dinner and drinks. Service was outstanding the two young ladies working that evening were very friendly and so lovely. Food was really good and well priced. I couldnât finish my dinner and they kindly put it in a container for me to take home. Their suggestion not mine. A lovely place to go for drinks and food. Hi Kareno195, thank you so much for your positive comments about Windmill Freshbrook! We're looking forward to your next visit with us!

Warm welcoming village pub. Happy to accommodate paws and hooves. Serving a variety of food from traditional pub classics like fish and chips and a crown burger to more adventurous options on our specials board, including vegetarian and vegan options. Run
Rather disappointing Sunday Lunch, was excited reading previous reviews so decided to pop in for lunch. The very enthusiastic staff was a good start, but to be honest the food was not great. Small portions of meat, cut with a blunt knife. Yorkshire Puddings amazing! But potatoes clearly overcooked and dry, cauliflower cheese very dry, parsnips nicely browned but very underdone, red cabbage ok, carrots ok, stuff balls like bullets and gravy tasteless.......Very disappointing indeed....

Public cafe, bar and venue serving fresh kitchen prepared food all locally sourced or from our organic farm. Serving all day brunch, healthy Buddha bowls, a daily specials board and 10 different craft beers and cider. Oh yes we have a lovely gin cupboard.
This is somewhere we've heard about and wanted to try for a while...it didn't disappoint! A great quirky place, casual and with friendly staff. We tried the 'Daily Scrambles' and the 'muffin'. The drinks were all good, they went out of their way to get my tea just right, the only thing that we would of liked to have had the option of a 'Full English'.

Visited early evening on a Thursday with no booking, had great welcome from the barmaid and could not have been nicer all evening . Allocated us a lovely table in the window , explained the menu and specials board, set up a tap and delivered the drinks. The food was excellent and served very hot , it was tasteful and good value and menu has good choice, even settling up the tap was nice and easy. I know it all sounds basic stuff but how many times do pubs get it wrong but this pub did every thing to make sure our visit was pleasant and will be back.you will always be welcome thanks

Being part of the local show committee, I venture in here quite often. I have eaten a meal here, been to an event here or just nipped in for a drink and a chat. The food is good and very reasonably priced and everyone is very friendly. Well behaved dogs are welcome and the staff are lovely. It recently was voted a firm favourite by the local newspaper food editor.

A cosy pub serving fresh food in our Harrison oven, with ingredients from our families organic farms and local artisan suppliers. We are located in the unique National trust village of Coleshill on the Coleshill & Buscot estate. We serve primarily a Briti
We, and another couple, regularly dine out together in the local area and recently we decided to support the Radnor Arms which has been undergoing refurbishment. We booked a table two weeks prior to our visit knowing that there would be a limited menu due to a new kitchen being installed. On arrival we were informed that the only option for food was a buffet at £20 a head and that we should have been contacted by phone to inform us of this. We werenât. On entering the restaurant the table which we had booked was occupied by six other people and the only table available was a very small round one which would only be suitable for two diners. The lady in charge did not offer to ask the occupants of âour tableâ to move. When we said that we would leave and find somewhere else to eat we only received a rather half-hearted apology. Donât think we will be back!
