Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Swieqi. Swieqi (Maltese: Is-Swieqi) is a town in the Northern Region of Malta. It is a residential area just 15 minutes by bus from Sliema and within walking distance of Malta's nightlife and entertainment centres, Paceville and St. Julian's. As the town developed, residential estates took over farmland. The town's name means "water channels", a reminder of the region's past.

We had a very late, very boozy, very funny night out here. Strongly recommend. Good drinks, lots of space with table sitting (bar service). There is also a restaurant upstairs, but the bar on the ground floor, both open air - so can get a bit sweaty with the heat.

We visited the restaurant for a quick dinner as we were accommodated at the Westin Dragonara. The service was at a very good level. We ordered burgers - they were also very good, and cocktails were at a very reasonable price.I recommend it if you are in Westin Dragonara.

The Crow's Nest is a typical English Pub serving a mean Guinness. Six of us decided to try it. We met some people in there who recommended the home made pies. Three of us decided to try this and ordered only to find that they only had one Steak and Kidney Pie so two had to change. Unfortunately the one who had the S & K made the wrong decision. It looked really good when served with a lovely crusted top although it looked a bit light. Well the meat was cold and had to be sent back. No doubt it was put in the microwave oven for heating. When it came back it was better but certainly not hot.We felt that this was very poor service. On the plus side five people we happy with their meal and washed down with good drink. The atmosphere was good as the Footie was on and apart from this big blip it was good and enjoyable.Good pub but check the food before serving it up please.

Having spent at least 8 weeks per year in Malta we thought we'd found good food on our travels but our seafood pasta and risotto today was the best. We've often had drinks and snacks at la plate but today opted for starters and main courses. We are so glad we did. Bruschetta with mozzarella was really good and even then I had to pack some up to take home but the main courses were out of this world. Again I've packed some up to eat later tonight. Staff were courteous and professional. There to offer advice and take orders but never in your face. Definitely a place we'll be attending again.

Great selection of food, went for the fajitas which was really nice, good portion size however the cocktails let this place down as they were not freshly made just flavoured with liquers. Causal burger joint in the heart of where the bars and restaurants are. We didnât have a reservation but managed to get a seat even with a big buggy. Burger were nice (including veggie burger) and lots of chips which is always a bonus! Staff were so lovely, best staff around!

Very good location in St Julien. Cozy pub with superb fish & chips and Guinness, as well as local beers. We were there for an early lunch but saw people having a late breakfast that looked great. We are going back in November!
