Has the best pizza Iâve had in the area. Price is a little above average but the quality is way better than any of the chain stores and better than any of the other local stores. Have only had carry out so I cannot give a review of the service for the dining area.

First of all, it's a bar-nothing fancy, but very clean. All walks of life frequent the place-the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker or the doctor, the lawyer, and the Native American chief. And some retirees too (re: another reviewer's comment). They have great hamburgers as well as other sandwiches on the menu. All very good. The Friday fish fry is excellent, and the Wednesday chicken is very good. Once a month on a Saturday night they have prime rib and steak. Cocktails are very good too. All reasonably priced. The place is family friendly within reason. Children not allowed after 9:00pm. And again, it's a bar.In the summertime, they have an awesome patio to dine on. Weather permitting, lots of outside activities available also.

The restaurant Thunder Bay Grille's spacious interior seamlessly melds contemporary elements with a warm lodge setting. Natural elements of light and dark woods and soft colored stones are combined with sparkle of glass to create a relaxing and inviting a
Our family met at this beautiful restaurant for lunch on the patio. It was a beautiful day to be outside and with family. Unfortunately the wait staff left a lot to be desired. First we had to ask for menus...no, not everyone is there for the all you can eat Buffett. When asking what kind of hot tea was available, the waitress said..."oh I don't know, there is a while variety in a box." Hmmm...how about..."I'll bring out a box with a variety of teas for you."Waiting another 10-15 minutes, she finally comes back to take our order. Brings our drinks and meals...no problem except we have no silverware. Well, that took another 10-15 minutes by which time my brother-in-law finally had gotten up to get some eatting utensils for all of us. My sister in law has dietary restrictions so she asked what the sauce was made out of that came with her meal...no one seemed to know if it had any dairy in it...they would have to ask the chef...but he wasn't there! What?Next, a customer at a neighboring table asked there server a question to which he responded..."oh I'm out the door I'll pass that along to whoever is taking over. Really? It's unfortunate...it's a nice place and the food is fine. Probably won't go back for a while.Happytravelers80123, thank you for dining with us and taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience. We sincerely apologize for the unacceptable service issues during your visit. Please know we have discussed the importance of paying better attention to all aspects of service with our entire staff. 5 of us went out to celebrate a 60th birthday of a friend. This was a new experience for all of us...and the birthday boy likes supper clubs. The restaurant itself was quite quaint and over all the food was good, however some of the menu selections for dinner left me a bit up in the air. I was looking for a steak, and there were limited choices. The tenderloin intrigued me, however it was only offered with shrimp and scallops and I have a shellfish allergy. I was offered a tenderloin sandwich...there are no other options. So I went totally into left field with grandma's fried chicken. Well let me tell you ...grandma must have died of high cholesterol because the half chicken on my plate had at least a 1/4 inch of breading fried onto it and the grease flowed out onto my plate when I pulled the skin back. The chicken itself was moist but I am not sure it was 100% cooked. The rest of our party ordered the specials for Saturday and they were pleased with their meals so all was not lost. It was a 60th birthday celebration and we mentioned that several times-no cake was ever offered...not a game changer but most places will offer that.

We had a private party in side room. Wait staff was attentive and limited food choices very good. The DIY Bloody Mary bar(on Sundays) was open and popular. I would return when given the opportunity. It was a little confusing to find as its nestled in a shopping area off Capitol drive. The delicious Cheesecake was from Simmas, a local bakery.
Limited menu, but food pretty good. Great prices. Friendly service.Bar suffers a little while bartender is cooking. They cook use a part cook.

The beet salad was delicious. Best one Iâve ever had. But The restaurant is a little pricey in my opinion. Staff was very nice, informative and efficient. They have a nice selection of beer, wine and specialty drinks. Everyone enjoyed the evening and the experience.
For a quick and good stop this option offers a more relaxed place with good service. Yes it's a bowling alley but the food is good and low price for the portion you receive. If in the are on a Tuesday why not try it.

Doc's has proudly been serving the Lake Country area for 25+ years. We offer the freshest pizza available. Our dough is made fresh daily and we load your pizza with toppings. Our wait times may get lengthy (we're working as fast as possible), but we are v
There are times when one doesn't want to review a restaurant for fear that people will read one's review and flock to the place making it harder to find a seat. Thus is the story of Doc's. A very small place...a few tables...a bar...and the best darn pizza around. We were tipped off by a friend to try Doc's, saying he would pay for the trip if we didn't enjoy the food. A pretty safe tip. Our sausage , mushroom, and black olive 14" pizza was more than enough for two people (we took a third home). So delicious, it makes my mouth water just writing this review. And the beer was cold...served in a frosted glass. This is our new go to place for pizza. A little out of the way, but worth the trip. The unfortunate thing for us, is we just gave up our boat on Pewaukee Lake, otherwise their dock would have been very convenient for us. Well, driving there in the convertible will have to do.This is one of my top 3 favorite reviews of all time. Thank you very much. Next time you come in, please ask if Josh is around. Thanks again!!

I tried rumors again and have upgraded my rating. They really need some help in the hiring department. Seems they are desperate for help and will hire anyone who applies. I feel they don't take enough pride in their business. I can't believe how they let the bartenders choose when they close. I've personally been kicked out at 10pm along with 7 other customers. We just got there. I believe the owner does a pretty good job but just really need to take it to the next level. Service is great with a woman (Holly). Her pride in her service shows. The customer matters to her. Also if you read the previous reviews, you will notice the high reviews, they are mostly local. Sounds like friends. Sussex lacks the "really good food" status and seems like the owners attitude is, it's good enough. This place has potential but it's stuck in the group of the rest of this town's food. Mediocre at best. See the posted photos of the wings? What kind of cook or server would serve this to a customer?? BUT it's still way better than Tailgators!
