Full Serve Restaurant
I have eaten here before but it's been a while. Service was friendly and quick. I had the grilled chicken and broccoli with boom boom sauce. Honestly it was one of the best meals I've had in a while. Excellent all the way around. Cant wait to go back

We went for appetizers one evening after a late lunch. Supposedly, their burgers are very good, but we had burgers for lunch that day, so we went with appetizers, which was the only thing else that they offer. Everything was greasy, fried, and pulled frozen, straight from a bag. Everything was so bad, we couldnât eat any of it. The waitress picked it all back up when she left the check and pretended not to notice that we hadnât eaten more than 20% of it. Maybe the burgers are better, but we wonât be back to find out.

Ate at Bistro on the Barge for Restaurant Week. The menu was fabulous and the food great. I love their Caesar Salad with the shave Brussel sprouts and I had the poached lobster tail with the risotto cake. Cooked perfectly and nice presentation. All the desserts looked terrific and everyone cleaned their plates.

Have been to this restaurant a few times, and each time I am pleased. It's a quaint restaurant near the Capital, with a down home feel. Food choices are great - have had bruch, lunch and dinner. Have been with one other person, and with a group of 8. Always have the same experience - great food, great service and wonderful dining

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
I have eaten several times during visits to Charleston. Tonight we sat in the bar area and service was great! Best service ever here - so tip 1, sit at the bar. The food, cedar plank salmon and chicken sandwich were great. My Cajun chicken Pasta was obviously a rework with the onions and peppers partially burnt but thankfully most were removed and restarted. Of course then they forgot the Cajun seasoning. Sunday evening but not crowded - no excuse. It is clear from all of my visits that no manager ever looks at the food going out, there is always something wrong with one of the dishes! Sad - could be much better.

Sports Bar & Grille open 365 days a year 11am until at least midnight with a full menu. Located in the heart of downtown Charleston, WV. Full catering available.
Don't go here. The service is horrible. Can you say "stiff the waitress?" Five of us arrived. We waited for a waitress to arrive. Waited and waited some more. She took our drink order and promptly brought water without drinks. The table next to us was in the same situation. She returned with their drinks. And still, we were without drinks or service. Heard enough. We gave up. There were plenty of empty tables to be seen. I complained to the manager on duty. He said, "We're busy." We were both looking at the same empty tables. Was our waitress dumb or incompetent? I daresay we were afraid to try the mettle of the kitchen if the front of the house was so terrible. I would not think to make a review of this place but it was so bad I feel compelled to write something. Eater beware!

The Cold Spot started in 1974 as a simple carry out for cold drinks. Over the years, we have grown to incorporate the best food you can receive.
Went for lunch with 5 others. Very quick service. I got a cheeseburger and onion rings and both were excellent. Others got wings (which appears to be their specialty) and wraps. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. All lunch meals included a drink and your choice of fries. chips or onion rings for $9. Lots of TV's. Would be great place to watch sports, eat and drink some beer. Will definitely go back! We're glad you had a good time with some good food! Come back and see us soon!

Serving one-of-kind fusion Burritos, Tacos, and Tortas with a routing selection of craft beers brewed in-house by Charleston Brewing Co. along with signature Margaritas and MoJitos. Saturday and Sunday Brunch is served from 11am to 3pm along with a limite
Took forever to get someone to take our order but it appeared there was only one server. Once she got to our table, she was very responsive and good. The Lavender Martini was really good and creatively presented (see the attached picture). The Manhattan wasnât the best. First, they didnât add the staple maraschino cherry so I had to take it back to the bar for one so it was a true Manhattan. The food was good for most, I thought it was so-so. The atmosphere is really cool and if we were here at a different time of day, the atmosphere would have been so much better. And for the men, hopefully you donât need to âdrop a deuceâ because they only have urinals in the menâs room. Oh, and donât come between 2:30 and 3:00 because they switch menus from brunch to lunch and only serve appetizers.

Experience a satisfying and memorable dining experience at The Block Restaurant and Wine Cellar downtown Charleston, West Virginia. Our restaurant offers the best tasting dishes made from the highest quality ingredients and an extensive wine selection. Wi
The block has an excellent wine selection, and is in a great location. During the summer, the outside patio is very nice. However, the service was extremely slow, my appetizer arrived with the meal. And the food was mediocre, seemed like the raw ingredients came from Walmart.

We stopped in without a reservation and had a 30 minute wait. Fortunately for us two seats opened immediately at the bar. THe bar tenders were excellent and took the time to discuss the menu and the different beers available. The place was filled with people and the atmosphere was like one big party. Easy to make friends with other bar patrons. The food was perfect, the beer delicious and the service impeccable! Thanks for the awesome review! Come back and see us!
