Reviews on Bar food in Skopje, Skopje Region, Republic of Macedonia. After belonging to many empires over time (including Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and most recently Yugoslavian), Macedonia gained its independence in 1991, and Skopje, with about half a million people, is its largest city and capital. Despite its age, the city looks quite modern, owing to a massive 1963 earthquake that destroyed 75% of its buildings. Skopje has long been shared by Christians and Muslims, who still come together at the fascinating Old Bazaar, one of the Balkans' largest markets.

Substantial burgers, fries and salad with a local beer was very satisfying at only 300 MKD each. I've paid a lot more and had a lot worse. Service was quite acceptable too, except they'd run out of draught beer. We sat in the outside glass-covered area where most of the diners had elected to sit - there are many more tables inside. Only annoying thing was the hawkers and beggars who entered the building to pester diners - I was impressed that it was the young lady server who tactfully oversaw the evictions.

Distinctive food and excellent service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amazing after parties and great music. We offer perfection with every bite and sip.
We were in Gnezdo two times. We have had some main dishes and the other time some sandwiches. Both of them were quite good.Waitresses can't speak english, which was quite surprising because of the trip advisor sticker. It is average place to eat.

We ordered two types of pasta and the taco chips. After waiting 20 minutes underneath a huge ceiling fan and air condition we received cold pasta and the cheese on the taco chips was dried out already. After tasting the food we were shocked to realize that the food was TASTELESS AF. We asked for salt and pepper but they said that they donât have any. So we asked for more parmesan instead and decided to wait for the cheese to eat. After being completely ignored by the waitresses for 30 minutes we received a tablespoon of parmesan. We still had to pay for the whole meal and were charged 30 mkd for the extra parmesan. We decided to leave and he asked us if we didnt like the food after staring at our full and cold plates of pasta.

Nice place. Good food. Good staff. We ordered Indian food and it was great. It has a bit of fusion cuisine taste though was primarily Indian. Definitely recommend anybody in Skopje to visit this restaurant particularly if they want Indian food. The restaurant serves Iyer cuisines too, though

We went here for drinks and was really impressed by the service provided by our waiter, Lazar. He was brilliant. Great level of attention, always knew when we were ready for another round without being intrusive and he was courteous and friendly. I can't comment on the food, but the service alone with the reasonable drinks prices will definitely have me coming back here when in Skopje again.

Amazing food One of the must visit places for grill lovers. We've heard this place offers great food and we were not disappointed. Staff was really helpful and with great welcome. Food is amazing and fresh, you can see food almost getting out of the kitchen and be prepared outside. Aot of tables outside and inside. Totally recommend this place as a must stop.M.Eftimov

KALDRMA Rakia Bar, the very first rakia bar in Macedonia, is situated at the heart of the Old Bazaar of Skopje. It offers a great range of local rakias - more than 100 types of rakias, including more than 40 kinds of local grape rakias, and various kinds
Really lovely staff - one of the waitresses sang on and off throughout the evening and had a beautiful voice. The vibe was really lovely and the other blonde waitress was attentive and lovely! Wine 90 a glass and lovely and my partner had some whisky which was also great value for money! Lovely!

Lounge Restaurant Trend & Bistro London are located at the main Square in Skopje and operating for ten years. Serving fresh prepared food -soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas, pizzas and barbecue. Nice view at the main square with terrace equipped with specia
Much better service elsewhere. Male waiter who couldnât really care and said thank you or please while few feet away, walking back to his stool to rest his weary feet. The salad was good apart from the chicken part which must have come from the smallest chicken in the world, and that was for a large salad......Couldnât wait to finish my food and leave.

Temov Old Town Brewery, is a PUB style restaurant, but you can enjoy local food as well. The food is mostly adapted to beer drinking and as it is common for Macedonia, there is outside BBQ stand. Attached to the restaurant is the Microbrewery, and it is t
We stumbled across this place by accident after leaving Kale Fortress. We sampled a range of beers (you can purchase a beer board with six samples) and sat in the lovely outside part of the bar. Friendly service although the toilets were basic.
