This was my first time eating there. For a rainy Sunday night there was a pretty good crowd, not crazy busy. We were seated, given menus and water. We ordered when the waitress came back. After meals arrived, we never saw another person until we had to go to the front and get our waitress. We were sitting near the bar. Some food did not even arrive to the table even after we flagged down a person and asked for the rest of our food. Overall, the food was served hot and on time, service was less than exceptional. I hope this was a one off and we just somehow ended up in no mans land on this particular evening.

The Mrs and I stopped in for a quick lunch before heading to kids birthday party. Went for the sandwich called the BBQ Kitchen Sink. It had a bunch of BBQ meat on a hearty sub roll covered in melted cheese. It was a damn good sandwich!

What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. Weâre creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. Weâre casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite yo
Monday Raw Bar... $1 Oysters and Shrimp is a real draw. Get there early so they don't run out... had plenty at 7pm tonight. My pepperoni pizza was very good as well. Marlo, our waitress, provided fantastic service... she aims to please.

Iâve eaten here a handful of times and Iâve always enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food and drinks. My last visit was a bit disappointing. I ordered the Acadia Seafood Platter and it was overcooked and not enjoyable. The veggies on the platter were also overcooked and tasteless. Other meals in our party of three were up to standard and very good. My wife asked about gluten free bread and was warned by the waitress that she would not recommend it. She brought a sample for her to try and indeed, it was awful. This restaurant has a lot of good things going for it but it still has room for improvement. Also, finding a palatable bread for those with dietary restrictions would be a plus.

We were attending our sonâs college graduation. He recommended this restaurant and what an awesome experience. The atmosphere and waiters were wonderful. The food quality and quantity are fantastic. We ordered the BBQ pork with macaroni and cheese. We also ordered the bison Italiano and Kimchi hotdog. One son ordered the chicken and waffles, which was out of this world. If visiting the Worcester area, stop by for a wonderful treat.

In late summer, a coworker suggested we try Lakeside, which is tucked away in back of White City Plaza (on North side of Rte 9). We've eaten here 5-6 times on Saturday & Sunday evenings and had chicken francaise, burgers, Trout (Sat special) & prime rib. Meals have been great not to mention great salads & the best squash we've had in a while. Cocktails are excellent, service (especially at bar) is best anywhere and prices are low. Atmosphere is upbeat but not too loud like many sports bars. We've eaten at most of the so-called high-end restaurants in or near Worcester, and none have been as consistently good as Lakeside. 5-stars for food quality, service & value!

On our first visit a few months back, yes we waited about 1 hour to get seated, but it was worth it. I ordered the prime rib special for Wednesday night bloody rare, and that Is what I got. Great meal for both myself and my wife. Visited last night, 8/14/19 around 4 PM, greeted and promptly seated. Our server acknowledged us immediately and shortly came over and introduced herself, and took our orders. My wife first, then me and our appetizer to share. She was very knowledgeable with the menu and answered my wife's questions. I ordered the prime rib special, bloody rare, figuring since we entered early there would be no problem with a rare cut. Wrong, what I got was a medium cooked and small cut, did not cover 1/4th of the plate. Nothing like the 1st visit entree. Plenty of steamed vegetables though that filled the plate. Now while most folks probably would of sent it back or said something, I make it a practice not to cause and issue, I just don't return. Yes I ate it with no hesitation, my option, as I said, I never cause and issue or incident, certainly did not want to bother the server, she was quite busy with other customers. When we are in Tampa we always stop at Ruth Chris Steakhouse or Stonewood Grill for prime rib at least twice the price of Jimmy's, I don't mind paying higher if I get what I order, bloody rare. My wife's entree and our appetizer were great I have to add. I don't know if there was a chef's issue, or whomever plated just did not care, but I am a paying customer who likes to get what he orders. If they did not want to give me a cut to my request, I should of been told that and I would of ordered something else, but to serve me a cut that was not rare but slightly pink only in the middle and dry is unacceptable. This establishment gets busy as the night wears on so I am confident that they could care less about loosing a customer, but I have the final say on where I spend my $$$ on. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean interior and exterior, I did observe as customers left, the tables were bused quickly and reset up again. As we departed, we were thanked by the hostess, a nice touch often missing these days. I hope the new Ruth Chris restaurant opening in Worcester follows their chain in Boston and Tampa, as I like my steak cooked the way I order it.
