Yeah my review is late but it's still all good. During our Hamptons trip, we made our way to Sag Harbor to check out the town and had no dinner reservations. After walking the town, getting ice cream, taking pics and the girls ducked into a couple stores, we decided to grab dinner. We looked up trusty ol TA and decided to walk to Dockside. The place was packed and so we put our names down and said you know what, we'll go grab a spot at the bar. Luckily for us, I got there in time for a couple to leave, leaving 4 chairs together so I grabbed them all for us. Little did we know, we would be there for a bit so thanking our lucky stars here. We started with some drinks and thought maybe let's do a couple apps while we wait. So we ordered some calamari, some spring rolls and a dozen oysters. We also were there long enough to get 2 rounds. Our server was Lucie (according to my receipt) and she was great. She let us try some samples of wine before deciding. She kept our water glasses full and was a good source of banter. We hung out at the bar for about an hour (told you we were there for a but) and cost of 2 rounds, the 3 apps, tax and tip, the bill came out to about 190 bucks - nothing in the Hamptons is cheap unfortunately. We would say that hanging out at the bar all night would actually be a great way to spend the evening. But this was not all for us. Our host came and told us our table outside was ready and so we closed our bar bill and walked outside. Full disclosure - we told them we were good inside or out and we got a table outside. Outside is nothing special - you're on the land facing side of the street not the water facing side so the view wasn't all that special. We sat down and got our menus. At this point, we've had some food and we're 2 rounds in but we soldiered on. We decided let's all do an entree and share an order of scallops. Abe got the salmon, his wife the lobster bucatini. I got the pot pie and my gf the steak. We also ordered some chowder and a bunch of drinks. Our server was pretty on point - Ademar from Florida who was working the Hamptons during the summer (he said he does this yearly and he was very good - even taking Abe's salmon back when he said it was too salty and making him a new order). Tax, tip, 5 entrees (including scallops that we shared), 1 round of drinks - bill came out to 315 bucks or so. So end of the day, 500 bucks but 3+ rounds of drinks for 4 people, 3 apps at the bar, 5 entrees and chowder at dinner, tax and tip, 2 ways to experience Dockside - either the bar if you have to wait or not or if you're lucky enough to score a table quickly if you don't already have a reservation - both ways to experience Dockside would be a good way to spend the evening in Sag Harbor.

My wife and I were in Greenport on Sunday. We decided to stay and have an early dinner. We walk around and look at many places. We came across the Front Street Station. We look at the menu and were not sure, but gave it a try We are so pleased we did I had the fish and chips the fish was very good and the fries were different, the owner told us they were called side winders. They were very tasty and were served hot. My wife had the broiled flounder. Luckily for me she let me have a small taste. It tasted so fresh, you were sure they just got off from the boatService was excellent, the owner helped everyone and brought us our meal. He checks with us to make sure everything was fine. I highly recommend the Front Street Station

LOVE the pizza, salads, meatballs and cocktails here! Great place to have dinner with friends or a casual date. It can get loud later on weekend nights so I recommend going earlier in the evening to get seated. This is definitely adults only and I've seen people drink too much and be very loud.

Waterside hotspot with gorgeous views across three iconic venues offering delicious food, fresh cocktails and great service.
We were so happy to go to Claudio's yesterday, for lunch, outside, overlooking the water. The view was fantastic and our meals were also. The quality of the lobster and fish was outstanding! The serving sizes were surprisingly large and the service was excellent. This will be my place to eat whenever we return to Greenport!

Serving a seasonally inspired New American Menu in a minimalist rustic atmosphere, Red Maple at The Chequit delivers a fresh culinary experience culinary experience that reflects the bounties of the Eastern Long Island Region. **Focusing on smaller scale
A lovely evening on a lovely terrace. The food was well-prepared, if slightly overpriced for what it was. They had run out of the local fish in the middle of a Saturday night, which was a little surprising/disappointing. The staff was eager and friendly. It is well lit and sprawling over a small hill in the middle of a dense area; somehow after dark, though, it turns from feeling like a busy area to feeling vaguely Gatsby, in more of a "hip" than a "will I run into my Grandparents?" kind of way. Great mood, that was what made the evening stand out.

Opened in 2012, First and South is a relaxed atmosphere with quality fare, drinks, craft beer & wine! A well-rounded view of what the North Fork environment has to offer.
I've been to First and South several times while visiting the North Fork, but my most recent visit proves that they are really perfecting the patron experience. The weather was not cooperating so my group ubered into town and started here. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. We took a seat at the comfy bar and Jenna, the bartender started mixing up the most delicious drinks. We were talking and laughing with the staff and they were giving us great info. about local stores and wineries. While we were there, both owners took the time to chat with us. They were both so interesting and just really fun to talk to. We stayed much longer than we intended to because we were having so much fun and REALLY enjoying the drinks. Staff members joked that we should not "look into Jenna' eyes" when she asked us if we want more drinks. We were definitely under her spell. While we were relaxing, several people came in with their dogs, who were welcomed and given treats! We later had dinner which was DELICIOUS and Patrick, our server, was outstanding. it really makes me wish we had a place like this in our home town. We all can't wait to go back. BTW, the bathrooms were immaculate and had hand soap from the Weathered Barn (a great store).

The Flying Goat wonât set the world on fire. Its food wonât banish the memory of super meals past. Nonetheless, the combination of the view, the drinks, the friendly, if not always efficient, service, and the capably prepared food offers you a most pleasant and, for Shelter Island, reasonably priced meal.Good hamburger and fries. Very good pappardelle with garlic shrimp and broccoli (all al dente). Flavorful and not overcooked sautéed spinach on the side. Delicious local Greenport IPA. And the magnificent view across the golf course to the South Fork in the distance.Whatâs not to like?

Arriving by boat is the best way to experience Salt! Service was ok - itâs difficult for everyone in biz in the summer so expect delays but June through September the service is primo. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this for a very positive fun and unique Hamptons experience.

We will be CLOSED Jan 22 - Feb 1. Both Locations. Reno & Relaxation. See you for lunch Friday the 2nd!
Maybe it was just an off day. We sat for 15 minutes before someone came over to us. Then our food was very slow to come out. We didn't like the chicken taco and I ordered another fish taco which was very good. It took so long to come out that I just got the check.
