A farm-to-table gastropub dedicated to showcasing our many local Vermont farms and food producers. Award-winning local burgers, comfort entrees, and innovative nightly specials. The Tap Room delivers highly prized and rare beers from Vermont's backyard an
Thereâs generally a long wait at this restaurant as itâs known to be one of the better ones in the Burlington area. They do have a very extensive selection of craft beers and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The food is OK. Itâs rather pricey but that seems par for the course in Burlington. If you donât mind sitting at the bar, itâs worth it to wait there because you are likely to get a spot for dinner sooner than if you wait for a table, and the service at the bar is excellent!

Juniper is Hotel Vermont's local, ingredient-driven cocktail bar. Created by Executive Chef Doug Paine, Juniper's menu is a celebration of individual and community effort, of small local producers growing and raising food, brewing beer, distilling spirits
This restaurant was in our hotel so we enjoyed several meals here including breakfast and lunch. We found the service to be very hospitable and kind - and the food was crazy good! I recommend the Mushroom Tartine. If you like mushrooms YOU MUST TRY THIS! After dinner we popped outside to enjoy the fire pit, benches and view of the Lake. I highly recommend this place - oh - and Monday night Trivia was also a lot of fun. The brothers running it had a nice vibe, and nice chemistry. Really enjoyed it.

Stopped by for lunch with friends and spent two hours catching up. The restaurant was not slammed and since the space wasnât needed we just enjoyed ourselves. The staff was great as was the food. I had the Reuben sandwich with fries, everybody else had the salad bar. Our lunch was great. The facility was clean and very comfortable. The menu prices were very reasonable.

For the second time in the last 3 months we reserved for dinner using YELP! Arrived at 5:45 with tickets for 7:30 performance at Flynn, a few doors away.Waitress was terrific. We were served at 7.Kitchen needs serious work. Food was wonderful, but we had to speed eat. Too bad the wait time is so bad.

Citizen Cider, founded in 2010 on a hunch and some good old-fashioned hard work, has quickly become a leading player in the craft cider arena. Citizen Cider strives to look at the bigger picture and focuses on being involved in every aspect of their suppl
Fantastic cider! My husband and I each tried a cider flight and enjoyed it very much. We even bought some cider to take with us. Cute business and friendly staff. Be aware that GPS does not take you to the Citizen Cider's business location. We were walking around a block over when an employee walked by us. We were able to ask for directions and were told that lost people are a common occurrence. Will come back here the next time we are in Burlington!

A casual visit over the holiday season was a disappointment. The pizza fell well short of expectations. Service was spotty and order was confused in arriving. It may have just been a bad night, but nevertheless, one expects better from a nationally-recognized brand.

The Lakeview house is an 1850 farm house that has been lovingly restored. Old meets new in the bar area where you can catch the game on one of several flat screen TV's while surrounded by antiques adorning the walls. Meals are made from scratch, and weath
We are in this area a few times a year and like to try different places, whether it's a hotel or a restaurant. We were staying next door at the Holiday Inn Express and it was freezing out (I think around 4°) so we walked over to the Lake-view House for dinner. We figured out after the fact that the menu we must have seen earlier in the day at the hotel was the pub menu. We were expecting Burgers and wings but the dinner menu was expensive steaks and seafood. We ended up spending $70 for two people (and no alcohol). My daughter and I ordered steaks, which came with the salad bar. It was all good but the vibe there was kind of odd and I was annoyed (at myself, I guess) for spending so much money on a quick dinner. Hard to put my finger on it .. but it just felt like an old persons restaurant. If money is no object, you will probably like this place more than I did.

We ended up here because the restaurant we had planned on visiting couldn't seat us.What a nice gift from the fates. First of all, our waitress, Laurie was a pure delight. At her recommendation we ordered the cauliflower "wings". They were a great alternative to chicken wings, plus no bones. The fried dill pickles were way better than the flat chips. These were little crispy spears.I ordered the fish and chips which served me well for dinner and lunch the next day. My husband enjoyed the Aloha Poke Bowl & 5 grain medley. We will definitely go back!

Went here for dinner on my birthday because I had said I wanted to go to a place I had not been before. The strip steak and everything with it was absolutely delicious. We were seated behind the fireplace at one end, which gave a greater feeling of privacy (but anywhere would have been good). The service was friendly but not at all intrusive and the atmosphere comfortable. I really cannot recall a more pleasant dining experience in Vermont.

We had no idea this was such a great little restaurant. Judging by the outside you wouldn't know. It is very much where the locals go. Everything was top notch, very good and efficient service. My son loved the fried mushrooms, best he ever had and he is the fried mushroom expert!
