The Twa Tams; the Place for Fun, Food and Free Live Music! A Bar which also serves Food, and has a Children's Menu, Vegan Options and Senior Portions.
If your looking for a typical pub lunch then come here. Their food on offer is good and at a good price. Table service too. There are lots of tables both inside and in in conservatory. Iâm not sure you can eat outside but there are tables in an beer garden area. This is also a really good bar, often having live music and a good all round atmosphere. If you here for a weekend itâs worth popping in to see a band or have a drink

Lovely time spent at "The Scone Arms" for an imtimate family dinner to celebrate my daughters 16th Birthday. From booking a table, to dropping off the birthday cake, staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous. Lovely decor and ambience in the restaurant. Staff gave us time to look over the menu without rushing us which was good. The menu had something to suit all tastes and we all ordered something different from scampi, to burgers to the steak for the birthday girl. Staff were attentive from ordering to when our food arrived and was well worth the wait. The food was fresh, good ingredients and above all delicious and we all enjoyed our meals and drinks! We were able to have the birthday cake I brought in for my daughter as dessert with bowls of ice cream which we ordered to accompany it. From start to finish a lovely evening to celebrate a special occasion and this was down to the great staff on duty so a special thanks to them!

As we stopped at the nearby Travelodge recently, after a long days drive it made sense to walk over to The Glover Arms for our evening meal. My wife and I weren't that impressed with the Travelodge (see separate Tripadvisor review), so our expectations weren't that high, but we were agreeably surprised. The restaurant decor and layout is very pleasant and there was a nice 'buzz' about the place on the evening of our visit. Staff were welcoming and friendly.Service (from Karolina) was prompt, but not rushed. We started with a shared platter, then had mains of ham, egg n' chips and a pizza, all washed down by a beer and large glass of decent wine. Without being 'fine dining' this was better-than-expected quality food, cooked well and at £50 (which included a well earned tip), good value.Recommended.Hi thereThank you so much for the great review, I am delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us and that everything was to your liking. I will pass all your great comments on to the rest of the team, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.ThanksNiall and the team

Steeped in local history and set in the picturesque village of Pitcairngreen on the outskirts of Perth, the Pitcairngreen Inn, built as a coaching inn well over two hundred years ago, is still serving customers to this day. Today, Pitcairngreen Inn is a s
Enjoyed dinner at the Pitcairngreen Inn. Shared two starters of pakoras and nachos between four as starters are generous. For mains, two of us had steak pie, one had scampi and one had fish and chips. Only one of us had a sweet of homemade cheesecake. All sweets are homemade. The food was fresh, tasty and very enjoyable. Including drinks (3 pints of lager and 2 glasses of wine), the bill came to £76. Service was excellent - very friendly and attentive staff. All in all, Pitcairngreen Inn serves good food, is tremendous value for money and a great asset to the village.

Traditional village pub serving good wholesome homemade food within both the bar and restaurant areas. Autumn hours are Bar Monday and Wednesday 5pm to 11pm Thursday 12noon to 11pm Friday and Saturday 12noon to 1am Sunday 12noon to 10.30pm. Closed Tuesday
Stopped for lunch and had to wait for ages for anyone to come to see us. Only 4other people in at the time, it was freezing cold in the place and food not even average.Just to finish off was told no card only cash and a hand written receipt . It was warmer outside. Visited late January . Won't be back.Hi Sorry your visit was disappointing. It certainly wasn't our normal service. We will need to kick arse to who was on shift that day!!It also appears you must of come in when were having issues with our chimney for the coal fire, which when normally on then the place is too hot! However the radiator heating would of been on especially if at expected busier times and if asked we are happy to boost it up?As for not being acknowledged, we are very sorry as all staff are trained to welcome all either in bar or restaurant as soon as they arrive. We do have a card machine, which as with most things nowadays relies on the internet, here the internet does drop and we generally get it working, without the need for cash.To our knowledge the machine has not been off line ever during the day! Only at night, if you can give me the day when you were here, I will check and also speak to the staff member on that shift, to find out why it wasn't reported and why they didn't do their job properlyWe are regularly praised for our hand written invoices, as they say it adds a personal touch rather than a boring printed receipt. Which we can easily do for those who prefer.

Steve Rose from West Yorkshire sang here on Saturday night. The place was buzzing all night. It's only a small (tiny) size bar but can pack quite a few people in it. Steve's son who now lives locally, used to sing in a Take That Tribute band. He sang a song and rocked it! Just one of the best nights I've had for a long time.

Found this while searching trip advisor for Perth. What a gem. Staff super friendly and helpful, fantastic reasonably priced food. Lots of places to sit and interesting decor. The free jugs of water were a lovely touch. Highly recommended and would happily go again on a return visit.
