Very disappointing. Lovely setting suggesting great expectations. Ordered the Aperol spritz which tastes of sparkling water not prosecco. Suggested to waiter that perhaps the prosecco was flat. The unsmiling waiter took away the glasses and they were returned by another unsmiling waiter. No difference in taste and no-one returned to ask if we were content. Had meant to eat there but the unfriendly staff and lack of response to our obvious disappointment persuaded us to try the many other Chirunguito along the beach front. We did politely tell the waiter when we paid our bill our thoughts. They appeared uninterested. As residents, we will take our custom elsewhere, sadly.

We (mum/dad/15 month old), had dinner here the first few nights of the holiday.Really friendly staff, accommodating with the Mrs and babies lactose free issue which was very helpful.Good high chair, cold beer, excellent ribs and football on TV to distract the baby so mum and dad could have 5 mins to enjoy dinner which was very welcome!

Spanish food based tapas only. Letter we aso Gintonic, natural juices, smoothies and cocktails. Beach service available (hammock).
We decided to have tapas for diner. We ordered Almost everything on the menu. I was astounded by the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was so very tasteful and nicely presented. The chef in this establishment is superb if you have seen the size of the kitchen. This man is a magician. We repeatedly ordered our favorite of the evening: the Cheeks! Wether you decide to sit down for diner or just a couple of tapas with your ice-cold drink, you shall not regret.

This restaurant had an excellent all day breakfast menu - fantastic for brunch and watching the world go by and the activity around the Marina. Good service too.

Fantastic terrace with views over the port. WiFi zone. Open from 10am. Breakfasts, snacks, tapas, lunch, dinner and Sunday roast. Live sports events showing on 8 big screens. Karaoke with Brian every Friday and Saturday night from 9.30Pm.
This is one of our favourite places for a good breakfast. Every so often you are looking for the full works; eggs, bacon, sausage and so on. You get this here and much more. The views are good over the marina. It is well run, friendly and the food at other times of the day is excellent. You also wonât pay over the odds for anything, a real bonus with the £ v E nonsense that is going on.Lets hope the ⬠£ situation improves very soon.

Gecko Lounge Bar is situated front line Puerto de La Duquesa with great views of the marina. Serving an array of fresh cocktails, Gins and a wide range of drinks with cool lounge music and a friendly atmosphere. DJ nights and live music at weekends. A gre
For some reason, restaurants on the front street level in Duquesa Marina struggle to survive. Gecko seems to have suffered the same fate as others around it. We feel saddened by this because for a while they did excellent tapas and the location didnât seem to make a difference. Now it appears they are only open at the weekends and with no kitchen. Nevertheless it is a good place to go for an early drink, before the heat runs out of the direct sun. Give it a try, maybe there is still time to keep a good business going.

We stopped here for lunch as it was our last day in Spain. Normally we do the tapas from the bar, which are freshly made and delicious. However on this visit we shared a lovely mixed salad and lightly battered haddock, which came with some french fries. Everything was well presented and tasted excellent. Terrific value and in a great spot for people watching.

Service, food and presentation all 5 stars. Got complementary pieces of savoury crepes to try with our drinks, which Iâm so grateful for as I nearly didnât order it. We had the London (in the picture), Berlin, Texas and a sweet crepe. All were soo tasty and good for their prices. Definitely taking home the idea of pancake with my English breakfast. You must stop by!!!!
