Sipping margaritas by a sparkling pool on a sunny day next to the water. The Seaside Grill, located adjacent to the Hyatt Place East End & Resort Marina, is the newest seasonal hot spot to hit Long Islandâs East End. With views of the lush scenery of the
The Seaside Grill is poolside at the Hyatt Place with nice views of the boats and river. The food was mostly sandwiches, wraps and burgers but above average in flavor and creativity. Sangria was freshly made. Ryan our waiter was super. There are happy hour specials. Try the wings and enjoy before the summer season is over.

We were planning to grab a quick bite after some putting practice and were very pleasantly surprised. The food has come a long way. The signature salad with candied pecans was terrific, the scallops were sweet and succulent with crispy bacon wrapped on the outside. We both ordered pasta - the ravioli were very tasty, and the penne ala vodka arrived al dente with a savory, creamy vodka sauce. Generous portions, great value for the quality. Beer was ice cold. Have decided to hold a small business dinner here this week because the food was so improved. I believe the waitress said that there was a new chef. Hope he stays. Attentive, friendly service!

Stopped in for a "American Grille Experience". The facility is exceptional, clean and smart with two levels and private rooms. The bathrooms were spotless. The bar features every possible libation available and the 8 televisions ganged together makes Smitty's a sports lovers delight. Can't wait for football season. Tonight I had the bay scallops with fries and coleslaw, great "All American"comfort food thats very tasty and made with very fresh local fare. They also have a wood burning pizza oven and the full menu offers an a extensive selection to choose from. The entire staff works so very well together and the smiles are sincere! The synergy is excellent! I like this place" not because of the name sake" but because it's a nice relaxing place to unwind.Happy hour is from 4 to 7 with good selections. The music is a upbeat mix and last time I was here they had live music. This place is a great hang, the people here are real and absolutely nice, sincerely care about each other, and strive to provide a truly high level of customer satisfaction. The food and grog are tasty, reasonably priced and most importantly very enjoyable! You need to experience this place and bring your appetite. You will be glad you did!

After a long drive over from NYC, I was looking for a fun, easy sit-down dinner near my hotel. Near my hotel? Yes. Fun, no, not really. This Applebee's is squarely "average." A little worn, a little dirty, and with annoying country music blaring from the overhead speakers. An overworked bartender who had to keep telling everyone to "wait a minute." Out of my first choice of wine, and no healthy choice for salad dressing (I wanted a balsamic vinaigrette) other than oil and vinegar. A dried out and small grilled chicken breast - was it cooked yesterday and simply microwaved? All of this aside, it wasn't bad...it just wasn't good, let alone memorable. With all of the newer restaurants in the area, I'll look elsewhere next time.

Stonewalls is the Club house for the Woods golf course. The Woods is a beautiful challenging 18 hole course with treed roughs and sort of narrow fairways. So its a good place to be and play. Surprisingly the restaurant at Stonewalls holds its own where one would think it wouldn't have to shine. It does. The grill room is for casual dining on bar food but here its elevated to much better than average, i had the original style mussels in a light cream broth. At that Tasting g the mussels were amazingly plump and fresh. Hubby had the onion soup starter which is worth a trip to try. I would travel 35 minutes to get it. No fake oxo broth here. It was carefully crafted and authentically French. He said it was the best cheese on top ever! Wait staff was great. Grill room a bit noisy with all the folks at Happy hour. Big guy ()(hubby) had a Cobb salad which he thought the dressing too wet and watery, which it was but I believe the. Basic ingredients were good someone just goofed up. Next time we ate in the Main dining room and sat. At the window with a beautiful garden view. You could see across to the other golf course The Links at Cherry Creek. This time BG (big guy) had the onion soup which was equally excellent and the roasted half Long Island duck on a beautiful hunk of wild rice with a nice orange glaze also some delicious string beans. The plate was a very ample portion and it was delicious. It was not plated like Eric Ripert or Jean Georges would but it was really tasty and crisp. I picked. I had the mussels again cause I liked them so much. If your on the North Fork if you go for golf or if you live around the area definitely enjoy the food and ambiance. Beware there could. BE rowdy golfers in the bar. Theydeserve to let loose its a tough course. The have a Sunday brunch which we will try soon and a prix fix Thursday night. & 30. With dessert

We shared lots of flavors with our friends that night - appetizers, main courses and desserts! Everything we ordered was very well prepared, generous portions and not unreasonably priced. Our friends come there on a regular basis and always enjoy it and introduced it to us recently. Our waiter was excellent and made some great suggestions for us including changes to the dishes on the menu to make our dining experience even better.

Diggers is your usual pub restaurant. Nice casual atmosphere and good food. We ordered baked clams for an appetizer. The clams were good but they were served in an aluminum shell. I would have preferred a real clam shell. Our entrees were the tuna salad and fish and chips. The fish and chips were good but greasy...the grease was dripping when I picked up the fish..they should have drained the fat from the fish before placing it on the dish. Both were good and the fries were good and temperature hot. We would visit this restaurant again. My only complaint was after the waitress gave us the check, she never returned to take my credit card, so I gave it to another waitress. This is the second restaurant in this area where the waitress doesn't return to run the credit card through for payment. The other restaurant is Perabell (see my review for that restaurant) just across the street from Diggers. Other than that everything was good.

TWEED'S combines true local flavor with sophisticated cuisine in an atmosphere of comfort, warmth, courtesy and welcoming familiarity. The award winning staff and this beautiful establishment are proud to be the historical centerpiece of Riverhead's Main
We went in on Mother's Day afternoon around 3:00pm. I thought we would have no problem getting a table at such an inbetween meal time. The place was packed. A waitress spent some time looking at the reservations and looking at us. She could tell we were just in for a quick bite while doing our regular Sunday shopping. We told her we would be fast and she gladly sat us. We shared a tuna salad that was amazing. The tuna was fresh and cooked (seared) perfectly. For our main we each had Bison burgers and both agreed they were the best burgers we have had in a long time. I cannot wait to return on our next shopping mission to Riverhead.Thank you for that wonderful review. Hope to see you soon!

Whether you are having just a blackened fish sandwich, or going all in with oysters on the half shell, the food is good, and the service is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lobster rolls are a nice treat, and the chowder is quite tasty. A little over-priced, but not ridiculous. Right next to the Hyatt if you are staying in the area. If you are going on the weekends for dinner, best to get a reservation.Noworries,Glad to hear you had a great experience on your recent lunch visit.
