Just north of the Trans-Canada Highway on Albert Street. Enjoy amazing service in our comfortable dining room or stylish lounge after shopping at Southland Mall or Chapters and Starbucks next door.
I love stopping at Chop for lunch or afterwork drinks and appetizers. The bar has a cool, laid-back vibe and the patio is fantastic in the summer. I have always enjoyed the lunch menu. Their previous menu had some excellent sandwiches (California Club) and salads (butternut squash). Their new menu has some great new features. In particular, I love their power bowls. They come with a great variety of greens, quinoa, avocado and your choice of protein. They have a good appetizer menu for after work drinks as well. We were there last night with a group of 14 and the service from the wait staff was excellent. The manager is fantastic as well. Every time I am in there he is ALWAYS making sure the patrons are happy. Customer service is a key focus of Chop.Thank you for taking the time to leave this amazing review. We appreciate your loyalty and are looking forward to serving you lots this busy summer! Thank you for choosing Chop.Ian Hinds, General Manager

We went for lunch to try out the new menu all three of us were very disappointed. I had the Sasky Fraizlaki chicken sandwich. Everything was tasteless, the Feta, the sauce and the chicken was dry as wood. The onions were so hot that they over powered what ever flavour was there. My friends had different dishes and were both disappointed. Used to love the fries but even those were not up to snuff.. Pictures look great on FB but food did not even come close.

At Rock Creek we love what we do and it shows in our stylish yet unassuming restaurants. We're comfortable enough to wear jeans to, but stylish and elegant enough to take a client to for a meeting or your date to for on a night on the town. The entire spa
Went for a birthday supper. Food varied some thought good some so so. I had the smokin q platter, the BBQ PORK was dry and almost like cardboard. However the Cajun-chive mashed potatoes made me feel like I had died and gone to heaven especially when I smothered them in butter.

Terrific food, drinks and music all combine to a fun bar atmosphere. Wings are great, beer selection is decent. Staff are friendly. Enjoyed the decor of record covers, generated a conversation with lots of great memories. Fun time.

We call it Beer Cuisine. We have 27 taps of craft beer, much of it local, and use the flavours as key ingredients in our cooked from scratch food. Our knowledgable staff will help you find the right food and beer to Quench Your Hunger!
An excellent place to stop by for a beer and some great food. It has a large patio with umbrellas, and the sun goes behind the buildings across the street early enough so you aren't in direct sunlight all during dinner. Extensive selection of bottles and taps, and staff that know their selections and make excellent recommendations. Only tried the burger and fries, but it was very good - and a very large portion.Great place to stop for a pint on the patio !

We had really bad service, we even tried pushing the service button on the table. Waitress took our drink order and then continued to serve everyone else around us. Done my first pint before we even ordered food. Then we tried stacking all of our empty glasses at the end of the table to get her to notice that we were waiting. Food is not very good and it is overpriced. NOT ONE LOCAL CRAFT BEER! Get with the times. They serve the crap for specials, swill water bud light, coors, canadian. GROSS. So many better local pubs in this city, STOP supporting these horrible chains. They have terrible food and terrible beer selection. Go somewhere where the food is local and homemade and the beer is local!Hello,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your recent experience. We dined at The Keg on Friday and we had an excellent server - very attentive and informative. Unfortunately the table we were seated at was very uncomfortable, semi-circle and since we are bigger people it was tight. Not sure why we were seated there. The food was good - I wouldn't go overboard and say excellent. I had the Crispy Cauliflower for an appetizer and it was excellent - I would highly recommend that. The Caesar salad was had by three of us and they were very large - my husband and I wouldn't eat that much between the two of us. My entree was the Roasted Chicken. The chicken was quite good but I couldn't taste any garlic in the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the Brussel Sprouts were terrible. Overall I enjoyed the meal but I wouldn't put this at my top list of places to eat. I will say my companions enjoyed their meals although two had the prime rib and ordered medium rare which was more on the rare side - even by their standards. One companion had the full rack of ribs and thoroughly enjoyed those so high praise there. Also those that had the Billy Miner pie were treated to a huge dessert which they enjoyed. As I said the service was good and the food was good just not what I expected at The Keg. Maybe it was an off night.

Food was great and the price was reasonable however the service was ok. However we had added expenses to our bill that was not part of the menu.....ended up being about an extra 6$ plus tax. Why they don't include it in there menu????We appreciate your review and feedback. Iâm very sorry to hear you had an unnecessary charge and would really like to discuss it with you. Please email me at [email protected] so we can follow up and provide a much better time the next time you join us!

Asked locals about where to get "local" food. Had the Hot Plate with sausage, kraut, cabbage rolls and pergolies(mentioned as a specialty...just potatoes in a dumpling wrap, nothing special,). Nothing wrong ,just not something I would go back for. A large menu available. $22 for the Hot Plate.
