A bistro is usually a place with local comfort food at modest prices. I think they even say that on their menu. I ordered the Fish Rockets for my lunch entree even though it is listed as an appetizer. My husband ordered the spicy BLT with fries. The Rockets are 2 small Spring roll like things served with a nice coleslaw and wasabi sauce. Even though it was a small portion it was perfect for lunch for me. Especially since my husbandâs sandwich and fries were a large portion and he shared. He really wanted to have the grasshopper pie so we did. For $9.50 I didnât think it was worth it. Itâs ice cream pie. So for lunch for 2 with just iced tea to drink our bill was $45 before tip. My husband was fine with that, but being the frugal one in the family I thought it was expensive. They did continue to refill our iced tea and our server was awesome so I would actually give them 4.5 stars if I could.

This is connected with the Tahiti Nui bar and restaurant which you should go for just for the experience if nothing else, although the food there is good. This Pizza has improved over the years and is now good. The crust is better than chain Pizzas and the topping are also a step up. This is not first class pizza, but most people don't eat that anyway. As a lover of first class Pizza, I usually don't order this, but it is good enough to order it when I am in the mood or when friends visiting from the mainland want go to the Tahiti Nui for the show and want pizza. If you are non Pizza snob, you will be very pleased with this.

My wife and I stopped by Hanalei Cafe for lunch. I had a burger and my wife had the ginger chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Located in an old school house next to the "Girls" restroom. Recommend.

Enjoy light Hawaiian-influenced cuisine and sophisticated tropical libations in the shade of our gazebo or in the privacy of our dining cabanas. Should your preference be relaxing poolside, soaking up the Hawaiian sunshine, we feature a special poolside m
I enjoyed the ahi poke at this pool/beach bar and grill. We chose a table with views of both the ocean and mountains.Service was excellent. Some of the servers seemed distressed; I wondered if it's because the resort changed ownership recently, the beach seems to have lost its former beauty, and the resort seemed emptier than I expected. As in many restaurants we visited in Hawaii, birds watch you eat and hover, waiting to attack your plate the second you leave the table. Visit the restroom before your meal, since you can't leave the table in the middle of the meal.

Located adjacent to The Westin Princeville's main swimming pool, guests can savor distant vistas of the Pacific Ocean and cascading wailele - the Hawaiian word for waterfall - that can often be viewed from the surrounding majestic mountain peaks of Namolo
Ate lunch here one day while staying at the Westin. The food was fine, nothing spectacular, the service ok, not great. The food comes from the main kitchen and the wait staff has to carry it over, no big deal but one has to wonder how long it is from when the food is ready to when you actually get it. Given the limited choices in the area and the prices, certainly a good choice for lunch.

I love the North Shore but have always struggled with the restaurant choices, and while I have been to Tahiti Nui in the past for Happy Hour never ate there, except for a pizza years ago for a late lunch. This past trip we decided to try it for dinner and WOW was it good. We arrived early and sat at the bar for a couple of drinks first, and received great friendly service and some of the best Mai Tai's on this trip. Afterwards we were seated on the deck for dinner. We started with the Ono Roll - which actually was the one item that I was not crazy about and the Ahi Carpaccio that was very good. We both had the fresh fish which was Ahi tuna that evening, I had the washabi sauce while my wife had the lemon sauce. Tuna was good quality and a good sized portion. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned for lunch the next day.

We had good service and a friendly staff. This restaurant seems to always have a lot of attendance - which generally means it's good! We had our Fish Tacos "blackened" which was a little spicy for our taste, but that's a personal choice. All in all, we'd recommend it as a place to check out the menu and if there are things you like on it, definitely try this place.

We were staying in Princeville and were lured here by Todd Rundgren's name, having been fans back in the day. This is a slightly quirky place, in a good way, tucked into an otherwise unremarkable little shopping center. The food and drink prices were high, even for the area. The menu is pretty limited but this is definitely more of a gathering place bar than a restaurant. That said, the ($20) beef and spam burger may have been the best burger of any kind I've ever had. The check for 4 people came to $147 before tip, and we just had bar food and 5 drinks between us. And no, Todd wasn't there.

Take in one of the most superior sunset views in all of Hawai'i while enjoying a cocktail or an innovative small plate selection handcrafted by our Culinary Chefs.
We used to come here often for the entertainment and pupus. Now the entertainment is monotonous and lacking. For some reason, the great group that performed on Friday nights is no more. That was a wonderful 20 year tradition.
