Having just returned from a weeks skiing in sestriere Pinkyâs became our local bar each evening. Although we actually never sampled the food the Restaurant was always very busy and the food certainly looked excellent especially the fillet stake I watched somebody eat :-)We headed for Pinkyâs about 9.30pm each night and done our best to drink them dry of gin and wine albeit failing miserably on each occasion! The staff are great, friendly and attentive. They have live music on most nights and anytime we were in the place was busy with tourists and some locals which made for a good mix. A cracking bar if you are looking for something a little more lively with a food and drinks menu to suit all. I would recommend a visit!!!

My family and I visited Max bar for breakfast on our last morning. What a lovely place, nice decor, great service, the children enjoyed the best Italian hot chocolates, and we had great coffees. The full English was enjoyed by our sons, and the bacon and eggs hit the spot. We would come again.

We have visited Sauze D'oulx several times now & one of the best parts of each day is the fantastic lunches that we have here.Staff are so friendly & the atmosphere is incredible.

We initially stopped here for Bombardinos on the last run down which by the way are cheaper than most places and great. After 2 or 3 days of this and due to the friendliness of the staff we decided to stop for lunch. It is waiter service which is a big tick from me for a start. Nothing worse than balancing your food and drink on a tray as you walk in ski boots to a table. The food is good, nothing exceptional but good solid ski food done well. The pizza is good but I particularly liked their polenta dishes. Due to snow/wind the links to the other resorts were closed so we ended up eating here for 3 lunches. This combined with our afternoon drinks stops meant we were warmly welcomed by the staff, with even the head chef coming out of the kitchen for a chat. We only had to arrive and our bombadinos were served. If you are going to pick a ski stop in Sauze I recommend this one. A little bit away from the crowd at Sportinia, good food and very friendly and welcoming.

Went with the family. Simple menu of pizzas, salads and baked potatoes. Modern setting right in the center. Quality pizza, kids and Italian wife very happy. Had a baked potato with speck and gorgonzola, really good. Will definitely be back here

Great location on one of the calmer slopes in the Sestriere area. Great terrace with a view of the mountains. Also there is rarely wind on the outside seating area, so perfect location on a sunny day :). Great selection of food both for kids and adults, also wide variety of beverages. I'd recommend the local food, for example the 6 or 7 variations of the Piemontesee Polenta. Another good thing is that the toilet is not downstairs - which makes it easily accessible for all, especially for skiiers (due to their heavyduty boots). One of my favourite places in the area!

Good house red wine. Open all day is a bonus as most other bars donât open until past 4pm so not many places to go early afternoon. A real sub trap and nice little courtyard to sit in. Music a bit loud as I was alone and writing but this would be fine for couples.
