Serving fresh, local produce to locals and tourists 363 days of the year! Come and enjoy some fair dinkum old fashioned pub grub. Our bistro food can be enjoyed throughout the hotel and we welcome everyone! Enjoy the famous $12.50 Lunch special and a pot
Another busy night in Port Douglas! We chose this Hotel for dinner because of the live entertainment we could hear from the street. A guy called Lunar was playing solo for the diners and he was brilliant. The meal was delicious. Hubby enjoyed his Scotch Fillet and my Troppo Chicken Schnitzel was lovely, as were the yummy chips that came with it. Again too full to try out a dessert. The outdoor movie that was being screened in another area was also proving popular with the little ones. Definitely worth a visit.

We always love returning to the Court House Hotel for a cold beer and a meal. It's so relaxing sitting outside, listening to live music, watching the world go by......and the buckets of prawns are amazing!

Eaten here four times so far (to avoid drink driving). It's similar to up market food you'd find in a top pub restaurant but with added ambiance and slightly higher prices. Perhaps our expectations were higher due to the extraordinary beautiful indoor outdoor setting sculptured from the landscape. Brilliant.

Whether youâre in town for a wedding, a work-do, or a roadtrip north, no self-respecting blow-in could stake their claim on this beachside village without having tackled a T-bone, kissed a canetoad, or mislaid hours on the dance floor at the IronBar. Quit
I had the Reef fish curry here 3 years ago and it was outstanding, so had to go and see if it was a once off but no they still have it and itâs still awesome, a tad expensive at $26 but just beautiful we also had the salt & pepper calamari was also beautiful as was everything we saw servedFabulous-we're happy you loved the reef fish curry again, as well as our salt and pepper calamari-the secret lies in the quality of those gorgeous fresh local seafood ingredients.

A local favourite, "The Shack" introduces you to a truly tropical Port Douglas dining experience with a wonderful mix of funky ambiance and laid back Queensland style. An eclectic mix of sandy floor, colourful lanterns, and a chill out bar with comfy couc
The Beach Shack is not near the Main Street so would suit visitors staying/living closer to 4 mile beach. Great vibe with great playlist of music and tables undercover with sand on the ground. Attentive and friendly waitstaff. Food a bit pricey but well worth it. Great fish, gnocchi dishes and a good variety of drinks. Highly recommend.

Being a local Community Sports Club you do have to sign, but anyone can do it. This place is mentioned in lots of reviews and is a gem
Have been coming up to the Port for over 20 years, and this trip for a couple of weeks. Food and service vary, but generally is good to very good, with some standouts. This place is not one of them. Donât expect service of any kind because it doesnât exist. Once you walk through the door, you are on your own. Nothing and nobody to let you know the protocols for ordering drinks and food. Just a vacuum filled by wait staff rushing around avoiding eye contact, waiting only for an opportunity to clear your table for the next sucker. They do at least deliver the food from the kitchen pass to the table, throw it on your table as they race past and avoid any contact or questions whatsoever. So the food. Two of us had the Spanish mackerel, and one had the fishermanâs basket. Our mackerel died in vain. It was horrible. Simply awful. The chef, if that is the correct designation, should be ashamed. It was the texture of old cardboard, difficult to cut and almost impossible to chew. Whatever was in the fishermanâs basket was no better. Just a waste of food and our time trying to eat it. The linguine was a huge dish of tasteless drudge, which was almost entirely left on the plate. And did any staff member stop by to ask how the meals were? Nowhere to be seen. This place is a tragedy. Itâs the best site in Port, and that must be what draws the patrons. Because itâs not the service or the food, based on our experience. Get your act together. Stop thinking like an old time club with a great site, where you can get away with anything because of the price, and start thinking about being a restaurant that had to compete. Impossible to recommend, except to stay away.I am sorry for your experience as this is the first time I have heard about it. I do not understand why this was not brought to the attention of the Duty Manager who would have been more than happy to rectify any problems that arose on the night. The other matter I have a concern with is the comment regarding being left on your own. If having visited this place on other trips I can't understand why you were not aware we are a Club and that you go to either the Bar or Kitchen POS to order your food and drinks.Once again I am sorry.Regards,Kym RowleyGeneral Manager

Hemingway's Brewery is an independent brewery and restaurant offering authentic craft brews. Situated on the beautiful Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, Port Douglas, a short walk from the popular Four Mile Beach. We are passionate about fresh beer and food
While staying in the Port Douglas area, we wanted to try the local beer, so we went to Hemingway's for lunch. The staff is incredibly friendly, allowing us to have small tastes of a few of their beers before selecting what we wanted to have with lunch.Lunch consisted of burgers. We wanted them to be medium rare, they arrived medium well. The Hero Burger comes with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and 3 sauces/jams. It was OK, not bad, but not great. For $23AUD, it should have been much better.Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that our staff provided you with a positive experience. We not only pride ourselves on the fresh craft beer that we make, along with our comprehensive food menu but we also have a strong focus on customer service. We are sorry to hear that our burgers were not what you were hoping for. We are always happy to rectify or replace a meal if it is not to your liking, please let us know in future. We hope to see you again though as you let us provide you with a memorable experience.

We ordered burgers for lunch. What we got was very disappointing- a large meat patty with very little flavour. We concluded N17 thinks BIG replaces flavour.
