Reviews on Bar food in Pickerington, Ohio, United States. Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville. Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 18,291 at the 2010 census. As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit. We recently moved to Pickerington and have been testing the local pub grub. This is by far the best. The fish and chips were about the best I've had anywhere. It will be hard to try something else next time. The server was great

Primarily, this is most about food. I did not bowl, play games, or volleyball. My previous review is missing, but I can still remember my dining. We have been here to eat in the dining room half a dozen times. Everything tasted average, not standout. I've sent overcooked burgers back. I've complimented perfectly cooked items. I remember sides served less than warm. I remember staff being scarce and unskilled. Oh, now I recall why we returned. They were in the Entertainment Book as a BOGO entree. Since no longer getting book, explains why it's been a while. We were here recently for a party in the VIP Party room. Behind the velvet curtain. 4 bowling lanes with digital scoring. 2 flat screens and a big screen tv. 6 hightop tables. 2 low 4 tops and a long ledge to sit out a food spread. The staff in here was highly attentive and prompt with drink refills and bar orders. Nobody chastised the patrons with food and beverages past the barrier line in the bowling area. Our party had pizzas. I was not a fan. Bad crust. Sweet sauce. Frozen toppings. Fake cheese. They were running a domestic draft special during the NFL games on screen. These screens are everywhere, except the bathrooms. The bathrooms could have used some attention. I recall that from other visits. Nobody wants to clean a bathroom. I think the routine checks are to inspect for flooding and predators. There's many other things here. Read other reviews for the full picture.XP

I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients. Tasty combinations. The bruschetta flight was delicious - every single bruschetta we had was divine. The goat cheese and pepper - a favorite. The pepper jam and Gouda - absolutely fabulous. My panini of prosciutto and fig jam was out of this world. Service however was very slow. Not unfriendly or not seeming wanting to be helpful - but incredibly slow for it not seeming that busy. It did seem there were few servers but it was also disorganized where people coming behind us got offered drinks before us and had food come out before ours. The food thought would make us come back despite the experience.

Stopped in here the other evening for supper-our first time being here. Kind of a big and roomy place. Unique décor. Food was ok-but a little high priced. Drinks were definitely high priced. No happy either that I noticed. Service was decent. Lady was kind of friendly (waitress). For the amount of money we dropped we weren't overly impressed.
A group of friends from work met at Hangry City on a Friday. Ordered a variety of sliders and several orders of fries. We enjoyed the variety of sliders and seasoned fries are awesome. We sat outside on the patio because inside there is limited seating to sit in a group of 10+.

The restaurant has a small town feel to it but the food delivered big time taste. We had a short wait at the bar before our table was ready and several of the bar patrons were regulars...quite friendly, engaging and complimentary of the restaurant. Our party had the ribs and the porterhouse steak and both were flavorful and tender. It was our first visit and hopefully wonât be our last.

Family operated and owned for over a quarter of a century Proudly serving award winning food to bring together friends and families from all across Central Ohio and beyond for their family-friendly atmosphere and award-winning meals. For over 30 plus yea
Had never been here before. My husband had but it had been awhile so he couldnât remember what it was comparable to so I took a chance! We were seated promptly and the server was friendly and efficient. The breadsticks we had for appetizer were really good! The pizza is a thin, crispy crust; sauce a tad spicy but not hot, toppings are plentiful and the beer is cold and all is reasonably priced! They state theyâre award winning and although I was pleased with everything and will definitely return, I wouldnât rate this as award winning pizza. I have zero complaints though and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you.

Bar atmosphere very busy at lunch. Find a table and seat yourself. We sat at the bar. Waitress was good very busy for her and slow on return visits. had a Ruban that was just OK. Fries could have need fresher. $12.00+ for the size of sandwich was a little much. Sauce was on the side which was weird.

We had read about this place but decided to give it a try for our anniversary. We arrived about 7:00 and were able to get right into our room after we received our welcome beer. Our room opened onto the sour brewing facility and the other sides window looked out over a lake. The roomâs theming was very well done. It was all beer but done very tastefully. We went down to the restaurant for dinner and it seemed to be a lot of Mexican inspired dishes. I had tacos but also had an amazing side of sweet corn. The weather the days we were there were beautiful and there were people sitting outside enjoying all the lawn games and activities they had such as corn hole and large Jenga. They also had a large fenced in dog park. We enjoyed playing table tennis. In the morning they provided a reasonable breakfast of beermosas, make your own yogurts and other items. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and/or brewery and would like to return in the future.

We ended up coming here after leaving Red Robin for horrible service. We got seated, greeted and serviced quickly with a smile. Couldnât be happier about our choice to leave Red Robin tonight and not continue to watch the bartenders meltdown. Thank you roosters !!
