Pub food of excellent quality and quantity. Available are a vast array of beers and spirits; a large selection of single malt whiskies; speciality gins and a full wine list. The times shown here are the times that food is available. The pub is open Monday
This pub was recommended to us by the B&B owners where we staying. It was a Saturday evening on Firework procession night but we found a table. The pub is quite big and goes right the way back where there is a conservatory. You order at the bar and there is an expansive menu. I had cod and chips, husband had plaice. Good portions nice light batter and we didnât wait too long.Really yummy puds too. Not too pricey. Would use again.

16th Century former Coaching Inn between Battle & Eastbourne. Serving fresh locally sourced food, with ever changing Specials board, in winter 4 log burners and brass candlesticks give wonderful ambience.
Getting lost was well worth it! Found the Lamb Inn after trying to find somewhere to eat lunch. Had great atmosphere and great food. The staff including Joe and Francesco ( the new chef on day one) were both very personable and professional. James was an entertaining host and we had all the attention we could possibly have wanted as we were the only diners there. The pub itself is a fine example of a 16th century coaching inn and still retains many authentic features. Wonderful & memorable lunch - for all the right reasons!Thank you for your lovely review, whilst the rain kept away the many, you intrepid two found sanctuary from the storm. Happy travels. What a fabulous location on the beach and a huge room to do all sorts with , but the staff are not very friendly almost a forced smile and a serve you when Iâve finished talking attitude. The food was bad tasteless and poorly presented. The whole place has a shabby grubby feel to it. It could be so awesome but not at the moment.

The Farm is a beautiful pub with open fires and log burning stoves serving traditional hearty British food using the best seasonal ingredients available to us. We also offer a selection of well kept cask ales and a carefully chosen wine list most of which
Very nice restaurant, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food is very good and there's a lot of choice. The drinks are a bit expensive, &£5.95 a pint of 'Neck Oil' Pale Ale. Overall worth a visit.

We had Sunday lunch here with six of ours friends and we were not disappointed. The food was first class and the service was very good. If you enjoy a hearty meal at a very good price, this is the place to come.

Nice little country pub, stopped for lunch had prime beef burger and wife had jacket potato - food was quick and very nice, some people have said it was expensive? But I didnât find it so, £30 for lunch and two alcoholic drinks! Not what I call expensive. Nice bear garden, lovely sunny day

Been here a few times............good pub food .friendly service. Easy parking.Fantastic value ...expect 3 courses for around a tenner. Its pub food not fine dining ...but its honest decent quality food .in a nice venue with good service....great menu...and amazing value. The fact it is always busy says it all.

We are a traditional village pub opposite the historic Pevensey Castle. We have a large walled beer garden, with children's play area. Stop by and have a relaxing drink, light bite or full meal in our cosy restaurant or garden. Dogs and children welcome.
This was our first meal here since the new landlord took over a few weeks ago.The decor and seating is much improved, and the service was friendly and personal. Although the menu is quite limited, we all agreed that the food was excellent and very reasonable. After a main course and drinks we ended up paying £20 a head including tip.The setting for the pub is outstanding, and I hope in time, that the menu could be expanded.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT 11/9/2017 Welcome to the Castle Inn pub You are assured of a warm welcome at the wonderfully characterful Castle Inn. Situated in the East Sussex coastal village of Pevensey Bay (just to the east of Eastbourne), this 16th Century buil
Iâm not normally into writing reviews but my meal today was to say the least gorgeous. On arriving without a booking I was made to feel so welcome. My children aged 3 & 7 had a lovely lunch and for once ate it all!! My wife chose the sea bream which was a special of the day and it was indeed very special. I opted for the roast beef and I can assure you that nothing was left on my plate .... it was also nice to have beers and ciders on tap that Iâd actually heard off ..... highly recommended by a normal family! Iâm definitely returning and will be bringing my fussy mother. Colin Etherington
