Such a shame that it looked the part but the food and the service were lacking in what makes a decent mid range place to eat . All very average and the waitress was flummoxed by a request for salad dressing and could only provide a ramekin dish with oil . The only ice cream on offer was vanilla and the coffee was undrinkable. I suppose we were lucky to get away with £20 each but definitely wonât be back , a shame really as so few decent places to eat and this is fairly local .Thank you Robin084 for your recent review, firstly i would like to apologies for you recent experience, we take pride in our food, drink and customer service and aim to deliver excellent standards to all our guests, we have not achieved those standards on this occasion. If you would like to discuss your time with us i would be very happy to take your call.Kind regardsLiam Cook.General manager.

Since our purchase and refurbishment of the pub in 2014 we are delighted with our great new look pub and feel proud to be part of the Bletchingley community. We are able to offer something to suit all ages, from bar snacks and a pint, to a 3 course slap u
Visited with family and two year old so wanted to be within sight of playground. Had a table in one of the three sheds in the garden. Whilst it was hot these were in the shade. Good food and everyone was happy with their meals Thanks for posting this excellent review. We hope to welcome you again soon

The Bull Inn is located in Limpsfield village, at the foot of the North Downs in Surrey. While this beautiful and historic Grade II listed pub has been part of Limpsfield life for centuries, it was recently bought, lovingly refurbished and revitalised by
We stopped here today for a roast lunch after catching a movie at the Everyman cinema in nearby Oxted and Iâm so glad we did. Delicious food, incredibly friendly service, a generous wine list, tasteful comfortable décor etc. The Bull Inn is a fine example of everything a modern pub should be. P.S Paint your ceilings dark - it would make the overall look really polished and on trend. Dear doctorbenedict,Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are delighted that you enjoyed your time spent with us. Our guests having an experiance such as yours is what we strive for! Due to high demand we have extended our Sunday food service hours until 1800. We are a good last port of call before heading home from a Sunday out!We look forward to welcoming you back soon.Warm regards,James

The Barley Mow has an ideal setting in the heart of the Surrey village of Tandridge. We were a group of 40 French/English people who had booked for a Sunday evening meal coupled with live music and dancing. Service was extremely slow, so much so that our table had to move into the bar for our desert as dancing had begun and we could not sit to enjoy it. Everyone else had been served and were finished. The food was average. The main m,eal chosen was a typical English roast. Meat was alright but the vegetables were over cooked and the roast potatoes were as hard as bullets. Atmosphere was good but overall only an average experience.

Iâve been to the Crown Inn a few times now and canât recommend it highly enough for families. My boys love the childrenâs play area out the back which you wouldnât even know was there from the front. The garden is a real sun trap with plenty of comfortable seating. The food is good wholesome pub food with a great kids menu and very reasonably priced, as are the drinks. I love the little touches like sweeties for the kids available at the bar and even dog treats that are offered free of charge. The staff are always friendly and with new management now putting on new events the pub is a great all rounder for anyone wanting to have a good time with friends and family.

We visited here for Sunday dinner. We started out sitting outside where we had some tasty starters, nice but nothing outstanding. After being attacked by a few wasps (obviously not blaming you here, I'm allergic to them) the staff kindly found us a nice table indoors. It was fully booked. Our Main course were very big and delicious. The food was all pipping hot which is great. Too many places these days serving lukewarm food. Our waiter was Ausie James. He was very chatty and gave us excellent service. Charging a phone, extra sauces, coffee and dessert, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you! Will be back.

A traditional family pub serving good quality home made food with a selection of well kept Ales, Beers Wines and Spirits. Large family beer garden where we welcome children and pets. Also have BT and Sky Sports. Food Served Tues to Sat 12 until 3pm and 6p
Pleasant traditional atmosphere with a good bar scene. Good range of food and real ales. Food tasty and well-presented when it arrived - but with only 13 of us eating, its arrival was very spread out. Nice staff though.Thank you for your review, apologies for the wait, we would normally request that you preorder to avoid delays as I only have one chef, there were also others dining in the garden, but hope this will not deter you from visiting again

The Haycutter dates back to 1851, itâs situated in the beautiful surroundings of Broadham Green, nestling between Oxted, Hurst Green and Tandridge in Surrey. A huge bar sits in the centre of the pub with snug rooms made out of the old building to one side
Lovely pub, amazing service and delicious food.....but just not enough food! Ordered mixed roast today. Half a carrot, half a parsnip, small amount of cabbage abs 2 small slices of meat.

Very impressed with our meal here! Surprised it wasnât busier on a Saturday night, given the quality.Had the mixed grill - probably the best mixed grill I have ever eaten. Chicken was moist, steak was well cooked and tender! A very good experience and will definitely be back. Thank you very much!Well worth a visit. The Mixed Grill is fantastic value, and it always comes out well presented. Whenever I serve it, I have craving for it myself. I am really pleased that you thoroughly enjoyed your meal. I look forward to welcoming you back soon, kind regards Huw

This is a lovely Country Pub/Restaurant in the countryside some 5 minutes drive south of Oxted. The restaurant has great views over the fields. Good parking. The food is British/International, good quality and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and attentive. On warm evenings a drink on the terrace is a must. Best to book as it is popular.
