This was our first year dining at Jinks and we're so happy that we did! We sat outside, which was fantastic and much more relaxed than the vibes inside, and really enjoyed the oysters especially. Great evening, beautiful views!

Casual Upscale Dining
We were a party of 5. We showed up and asked to be seated. The obnoxious host told us we could not sit outside. There was a large table available outside and we asked for it. She replied it was for 6 people only, not 5. We were finally given a table inside in the corner and an extra chair set up. The waiter was fabulous, the scallops phenomenal, but the hostess ruined the entire experience.Sorry if you donât understand our seating policy, we have limited seating and only 2 tables that can handle a party of eight. So we will seat a party of 5 on a 4 Top withAnd extra chair if you donât agree with our policy that is your right, hate to see you goBut thatâs your decision.Rich DobkinOwnerFibber McGeeâs Irish Pub

This restaurant has the perfect location as the only dinner restaurant on the ocean but has horrible overpriced food. I have lived on Ocean Isle for over 15 years and watched this restaurant change back and forth from good to bad through the years and it is definitely on the bad swing. I was embarrassed to have recommended it to my friends who were visiting. First of all the stairway and elevator to get there from the parking lot is not lit making entry confusing and difficult not to mention dangerous. At 8:00 on a Thursday night in high season it was empty. No wonder. The fish was dry on the grilled seafood platter, the chicken was dry on the quinoa entree, the jambalaya had.no sauce or liquid in it, the scallop Alfredo had very few if any scallops in it. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and the waiter plopped it on the table with two glasses and left. To add insult to injury, the $197 bill was paid and then the waiter followed us out to the entry and said he had made a mistake. He tried to add another $100 to the bill... totally inaccurate. I know he was new as he admitted but really?!?Worst restaurant on Ocean Isle and what a shame. It would be so nice to have a good restaurant on the ocean.

The NEW Ocean Isle Fish Company restaurant and bar is open air, on the water dining at its finest. The same team that brought you the very popular OIFC Wing and Fish Company in Shallotte has expanded their footprint to Ocean Isle, bringing a commitment to
Pros - Top deck - We enjoyed the music, bar drinks, and the atmosphere. We sat with a view of the water. We saw boats, jumping fish, heron, and a small bobcat! My Long Island tea was excellent. Food - We came away saying the food was okay. We had seafood dip with corn chips. We ended up using the extra corn chips to eat with the shrimp and grits as it was soupy. It could have used more seasoning. Portions were plenty. The shrimp kabob had good sized shrimp and sausage. It was on the sweet side. I would come back for drinks, the view, and try different food.

My wife and I ate here Saturday, September 14,2019. My wife had the Fall Salad with Rosemary Vinegrette dressing which she said it was delicious. I ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries as a side. My sandwich was really good. The Iced Tea was a brewed tea and was really tasty. Grace our server was absolutely excellent. We'll go back for sure!

The view is so good itâs distracting! But it also helps you relax and sip your wine just a bit slower. The food was excellent with large portions. Weâll probably try to split a meal next time. She had shrimp and scallops; I had flounder and shrimp grilled and might try blackened next time for a little more jolt. The sides were very good as were the hush puppies. Excellent meal and excellent service. Thank you so much for coming and for your excellent comments on the food, service and view. We hope that you will come again. Gratefully, Inlet View

Wing and Fish can be crouded, but worth the wait. Better yet, get there early and do 1/2 price appetizers on weeknights. We often will do a bottle of wine and one or sometimes two appetizers as our dinner. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
