We like hamburgers, fish and chips, shepherd's pie, broiled salmon, and other pubby standards that McLynn's does well. There are three rooms: bar, near dining room, far dining room; if you want to talk quietly, the far dining room is to be preferred, as the bar is frequently boisterous. Service is prompt and friendly, and the specials are listed on a slate brought to your table as you are seated. Parking in the back (down the side alley) is easy. McLynn's is a good neighborhood pub with a loyal clientele.

We ate here while staying with friends in Maplewood, which is a very pretty town. Food was good. My husband had the Chicken Goujons, I had the crock of Mature cheddar and crackers. We also had a very good Marlborough at a reasonable price. Went back the next day for more!

Par 440 Restaurant and Lounge on the East Orange Golf Course in Shorts Hills. You can indulge in a wide variety of fresh foods. Like brick oven pizza or sushi prepared fresh by a master sushi chef. Relax and enjoy a cocktail at the bar with friends and co
The food is excellent. The chef is flexible--there are not a lot of vegetarian choices listed but changes can be made. Sitting outside on the back porch overlooking the golf course is a treat in pleasant weather. Wait staff is pleasant and efficient.

The Red Cadillac specializes in Tacos & Tequilas. A Great selection of top shelf tequilas, including 10 flavors of house infused tequila. Also, everything is made from scratch. Even the taco shells & tortillas. Great decor & fun concept. Restaurant , Bar
The food is very good. The service at times can be a bit slow, but overall very good.We went there during the St. Patrick's Day parade, and although the weren't serving food at that time, the bar was packed with Police and Fire Dept. personnel and the two bartenders where amazing, very attentive and on top of their game.

But this one has my vote. Friendly owner, slow staff but delicious varieties of a multitude of coffees. Also have great large assorted flavor scones. Perfect in store, but does not reheat well the next day. Plenty of room to chill, breast feed a little one (yes) or surf the internet. No one rushes you to leave.

We visited Coda expecting great food and service. The food was ok. I enjoyed the shrimp soup and blackened chicken sandwich. Friends had the short rib grilled cheese which he raved about. The baby back ribs were a bit dry on the inside and quite saucy on the outside. The waitress was a bit abrupt at times and unnecessarily confrontational. For example my friend who was on a diet asked for a little slaw with his grilled cheese sandwich. The waitress said they didnât have slaw. When the ribs came out they had slaw. Really!!Didnât appreciate the non effort to make him happy over a few tablespoons of slaw. I blame mgt for that. Overall, Coda was OK. Will probably return.

Food and service was good however immediately after being seated for lunch all of the windows on the porch were opened which resulted in a significant amount of road noise and flys/bugs into the room. This was not conducive for a business lunch at all. At a minimum there should be screens on all windows.

Went here with a few friends from the area. The appetizers decent, especially the charcuterie. The tuna tartare was overpowered by a very salty avocado mousse so I didnât enjoy it. I ordered the pad Thai and it was a disaster. It tasted like vinegar and the chicken it was served with had been pounded to the consistency of shoe leather and the only thing you could taste was salt. It was served with peanuts but had no peanut flavor. Drinks were good and they do have a massive selection, especially beer. I wonât return. By the way, it seems like a lot of the 5 star reviews for this place are from individuals with very few reviews. Hmmmm.
