We walked by the Traveller's Café Bar in Bugibba, St Paul's Bay, Malta looking for a place to eat, some of the places and people are not friendly. We were so surprised with the friendly staff when we walked in and the vibe were great, we immediately decided the this is the place to eat. The lovely young lady that served us, gave as a fantastic choice what to eat as we really craved some good sea food. The Fish Platter!!! Highly recommended!! Cisk Beer of coarse!

Not your typical touristy café/snack bar near St. Paulâs Catacombs, Il-Baxa is but a surprisingly great dining place with absolutely amazing homemade pasta and soup. Their food is brought up in an old elevator chute, hot and fresh! I really cannot recall a better place for fresh pasta outside of Italy. Thank you for sparing your time to review il-baXa. We take feedback seriously and consider all comments as encouragement and opportunities for improvement. It was a pleasure hosting you.

If you are looking for a place far from the fancy restaurants where you can eat local inexpensive food with big quantity, this is your place. Remove the extra charges for cozy rooms, stylish uniforms and sophisticated menus and try this real experience for the Maltese local food. Very good price and big portions.

The Baron Bar is a family owned business.
My review is prompted primarily because a great bartender is a beautiful thing. Geoff is attentive, informative and just has that ability to create connection. My husband and I were welcomed like old friends and it was so uplifting to feel part of a place rather than just passing through

We are glad that you like the views over Mellieha Bay and the fact that you thought that our prices are reasonable. We are very sorry about the service temperature issues and the lack of urgency concerning the arrival of your food order to the table. We came here for after dinner drinks and there was a pleasant surprise for is . Each evening the hotel has different artists playing live music outside there were plenty of free chairs and the drinks were ordered and swerved promptly - try the white Bacardi which was a local one drinks are very generous sizes if you ask for a double - the staff were polite enough and keen to please - enjoy the lovely views and setting - in the afternoon they offer high English tea and the cappuccino are great . Recommended for family - did not try the food here although they have a varied menu
