We were sat only after I checked with the hostess 35 minutes after we put our name in. They said they checked the bar. We were there with 3 kids! They sat us in the furthest corner on the restaurant were everyone was going past our table to the docks. They mosquitos started in about half way through. When we finally got straws for out kids waters. Over two hours later we got our food. We're so bitten by now and over tired and hungry we are literally Done. After requesting boxes for our food that we over paid for, no bags offered, no apology for the garbage service, Nothing!! This Place Is HORRIBLE....

We stopped by on a rainy Monday. Sat at the bar and the bartender quickly took our order. We split the conch fritters which are AMAZING. Service was good and the bathrooms are IMMACULATE. BUT MY HUGE PROBLEM IS SMOKING INSIDE. I understand part of the restaurant is open but I thought smoking inside was a thing of the past Yes I sat at the bar which isn't far from the tables that children sat at.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - Seafood, Steaks, Sushi, Prime Rib Lunch and Dinner Daily. Full Liquor Bar and 52 BEERS ON TAP Indoor and Outdoor Waterfront Dining In Business since 1951. Voted Best Overall Restaurant in Marathon 4 years.
My wife had the grouper and I had the snapper Mazalan. Both dishes were very good. They have an extensive menu for seafood and drinks. The chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream desert was marvelous and worth stopping in for it alone. Tracy, our server, was very attentive and provided extraordinary service. Downside is while it is on the water, it is more of a canal. Still, I recommend the Castaway to you.

Hidden behind the Butterfly Cafe at Tranquility Bay Resort the setting for this bar/grill is one of this best in the Keys. The sizable Tiki Hut is set on a bricked patio along the water's edge. You feel "away from it all" even compared to the rest of relatively laid-back Marathon. About 10 outdoor umbrella tables and additional bar stools with a magnificent water view > 180 degrees including view of Faro Blanco lighthouse, moored sailboats and more.Sit back and enjoy a drink a bit pricer but that comes with the view. The food is good enough but don't come here for the food. If you have been in the Marathon area and haven't been here - it is worth the stop.Park at the resort and walk straight thru the resort welcome area and head for the water.

Herbies is the oldest operating restaurant in the Heart of the Florida Keys! Having been established in the late 1940's under the name Maggie's Chowder House, it has become a landmark restaurant and continued local favorite. While the restaurant is well e
Stopped here for lunch with my husband. We had the conch chowder, organic greens salad, and local shrimp. All were very good and the house made raspberry vinaigrette is really good. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it.

We always stop for lunch while visiting KCB. I always get the lunch size seafood italiano. It is amazing and loaded with seafood. Husband got the $10 ribeye...yes $10 off the special menu. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes. We left stuffed with two boxes. Great staff & clean bathrooms.

Perfect place to have a girl trip. The restaurant location is great. We sat out every night for our half price drinks and appetizers. Love the sea view, the light house, the open bar, the staff are very friendly. Mike the bartender was exceptional. Great drinks, great food and perfect night every night. Definitely in my agenda to go back.

We found his restaurant a bit by accident and we are so glad we did. The service was amazing. Quick, nearby, but not hovering. They used recyclable, sustainable, eco friendly utensils. My husband had the tuna sandwich. It was massive. I had the shrimp burger and it was so good. No filler. But the fries and atmosphere were the best. Good view, friendly people, and delicious food!

Our attentive and friendly waitress Debbie topped off a great dining experience! We will be back!!
