The first thing you notice when pulling in the entrance of the Heritage Hotel parking lot is the incredibly unique addition to this Lancaster landmark. To call it a deck or a patio doesn't do this two-story structure justice. Imagine dining in the most im
Didnât like that the hotel was so far from the main center of everything. There was a mistake when booking. We were suppose to be in a king bed, and idk if we were early or late for the check in but they had changed the room number with white out. I feel they gave the room with king bed away. There was a guy at night that was very very nice, however the girls during the day were not helpful at all.Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to understand where we failed to meet your expectations! I will pass your comments along to hotel management so that we can learn from our shortcomings. Thanks!

We were in the area for an event and decided to try JB Dawson's for dinner on a Saturday evening. I will start by saying that everyone thought we had a great meal. I has the Fish n Chips. The fish had a very light but crispy coating that surrounded a very flaky fish. Three large pieces came in the plate along with the shoestring fries. A very good dish with wonderful taste. Well done. My wife had a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto and parm. She loved every bite. My brother-in-law had a steak, and I quote, "This is the best steak I have had in 20 years!"Another member had the Prime Rib with the corn on the cob and he cleaned his plate. Several other members had dishes with some type of 'Oscar' topping with chopped asparagus and everyone raved about the taste. So overall it was a great meal and I would have rated it as excellent except that the server failed to ever come by and refill our beverages. Other than that I would definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone. davidbmarietta24, thanks for the very kind review. I'm so glad to hear that everyone in your group loved everything. I am very sorry to hear that we failed as a team to fill your beverages. We pride ourselves on great food & service and it sounds like you only received 1/2 of our commitment. Please ask for me next time you are in town so I can put a face with your name. Sincerely, Robert Lautenbacher. General Manager.

Called into Scooters on a recommendation from a friend.Glad I did. It was an unpretentious family friendly gem of a find.I had the onion soup and a first class steak. Nothing was too much trouble and I was treated like a member of the family.Loved it... will return soon

New - opened in this location very recently
My husband and I just got back from eating here for dinner - our first time. We ordered a couple flights to sample their regular beer choices as well as their summer ones. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. When our waitress asked which one was our favorite, we had a tough time even finding one that was worthwhile of a positive review. At best, some of them are average. At worst, one tasted like that beer was skunked. In fact, we called attention to it to our waitress, who had the bartender taste it. She came back to inform us that it's exactly how it's suppose to taste! Wow! You're serving beer that tastes like it's skunked and charging for it? Our meals were a bit better. My husband got one of their pulled pork sandwiches and he seemed to enjoy it. I got their fish and chips. It was above average, but a bit on the bland side. He and I shared a piece of their homemade peanut butter pie and that was worthy of a thumbs up! Ask to have both caramel and chocolate sauce drizzled on top-yum!Our waitperson was wonderful! She was very friendly, very helpful and on the ball. Sadly, overall, we won't be rushing to return here anytime soon.

5 members of my family decided to try this after a lacrosse game in Lancaster. I am not a beer drinking but my husband was very pleased with his Belgian Ale and he loved the chicken and waffles. I had a Tuscan chicken sandwich, and probably the best french fries I have had in a long time in a resturant. The dipping sauces were very good and very hard to pick which ones to order. you order at a counter and pay, they being the food out to you.

Ate at the General Sutter Inn on July 28th. Food was good along with the service. Once this I didnât like was there was a 20% gratuity included on our bills and none of the several servers ever said anything prior to us ordering. There were 6 people and at least one of the servers should have told us. We would have went to the bar and ate. I always leave a good tip with good food and service but to assume we want to pay 20% isnât there decision, I would be eating there again. There are too many other places to go that donât required you to pay 20% if you have 6 or more people with just as good of food, service and atmoshphere.Dear Shokora1,Thank you for taking the time to review our establishment. I apologize for your experience regarding the gratuity. Your server should have informed your party. We have a strict policy of informing our guests when gratuity is added. I will be speaking with the staff who served on June 28th. Thank you. I appreciate your feedback.Sincerely,Erin Stroyan-Peduzzi Assistant General ManagerGeneral Sutter Inn & Bulls Head Public House

Casual Bar/restaurant with seating for 50 people. Great Bar Food Menu. Homemade Soups, Mary's Chili, Salads, Wings, Wraps and Great Burgers & Sandwiches. Come in soon!
Went there no place to go we just arrived at the campground there were a bunch of drunk patrons that looked like crackheads we ordered twdo sandwiches I asked for a bakedgot potato instead of fries the owner who served me I found out charged me 350 for that tiny potato I even left a tip she chuckled as we left never to this place she ripped us of for bad foodPeople like this I don't understand. You go out to eat and pay for what you order. No Crack heads just patrons who still dress like the hippies. No drunk patrons there that night. He did not order 2 sandwiches. Lady got Cod dinner he got oyster Sand. No fries come with Sandwiches only potato chips. So Baked potato is 3.50. Can't please everyone. I have been there 21 years and I have pleased many customers!

Established in March 2010, The Bulls Head is modeled after a traditional British pub. This means great food, friendly conversation, and of course, quality beers. Keeping to the traditional practices of a British pub you will be greeted with a smile from t
A friend and I chose this spot to celebrate her birthday. I was stunned that they were so busy on a Tuesday night. She thoroughly enjoyed her fish and chips and Irish coffee. For me, chicken tikki masala and Walzâs Apple wine were excellent choices. I understand going to the bar to order is the norm in the UK, but it was a bit awkward as my friend had difficulty carrying her beverages, so we had to scramble a bit. Being a downtown Lancaster girl with tons of great options in the city, I rarely venture to Lititz. I may need to change that!Dear Doreen J,Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so pleased to hear that you and your friend enjoyed her birthday at our pub. We hope to see you again next time you venture up to Lititz.Cheers!Erin Stroyan-PeduzziAssistant General ManagerGeneral Sutter Inn & Bulls Head Public House

Forklift and Palate is the resident restaurant of the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Mannheim, PA. Billed as the largest indoor sports facility in the USA, it is fitting that Forklift and Palate is much more than a pub for sporting folk. Forklift and Palate has a varied menu, a fine selection of craft beers and wines, and a welcoming ambience. My Caesar Salad was very fresh with the shrimp topping being ice cold, crisp, and firm. The ambience was upbeat enough to have me order dessert just to enjoy the uplifting spirit.

The restaurant is in an old home near the train station in town. The restaurant is not very handicapped accessible. There is an outdoor dining area which can seat disabled guests otherwise youâll need to climb a flight of stairs. I had very tasty stuffed shrimp. My friend had beef liver and onions. She said it was the best she had ever eaten. I tried a very tasty lemon raspberry cake for dessert. The decor is reminiscent of an old speakeasy club.
