Just south of Long Island, it is located on Long Beach Barrier Island, which is the westernmost of the outer barrier islands off Long Island's South Shore. As of the United States 2010 Census, the city population was 33,275. It was incorporated in 1922, and is nicknamed The City By the Sea (as seen in Latin on its official seal). The city of Long Beach is surrounded by Reynolds Channel to the north, east and west, and the Atlantic Ocean to the south. As of January 1, 2018, Michael Tangney is the acting city manager, a position appointed by the City Council. It has been Democratic for many years.

The service is unorganized in the dining area, but the food isn't something to highlight. I think whoever runs it was more concerned with the design. If you venture passed the immediate area it looks like they are not finished renovating, though I've been there a few times since 2014. Its next to the laundromat I use and on Sunday it's the only bar in the immediate couple blocks that isn't busy to point where people are just standing shoulder to shoulder. If you want a place to sit down while you drink beer and watch the game, this is one of those places on Beech St. All of Long Beach's West End is crowded with young people from the city all summer but this place is more enjoyable for people to don't want to drink while standing and shouting to hear one another.

Decent pub food in a very noisy sports bar waited on by a friendly but overworked waitress. We ordered our food which arrived in a reasonable period of time. But alas there were no utensils or napkins on our table . Not wishing to eat with our hands one of us had to walk over to the hostess who finally brought them. Previous attempts to get anyone's attention had failed. There are TVs all over the place so sitting at the bar to watch games is probably a good experience. But for dining there are plenty of similar places in LB.

Been there a few times and had food delivered a few times. The food isn't bad but it's a little pricey for the cuisine type. The drink specials are good. It's a fun place to be at during the summer. I wouldn't bother to have delivery. The value isn't there. The quality of the food is good. Staff has been friendly when I've been there. The pretzel bun on their burgers are pretty good. If the food pricing were more in line, it would get another star.

Went here on a Saturday night. Drinks were good, food portions were.excellent and tatsy. Steak was over done but seemed to be the only problem with it as i didnt leave any of it anyway. Management graciously took it off the bill. Fun mood, causal place, live music later im the evening.

Had a great meal and outstanding atmosphere here at Jetty! Fish taco amf pulled pork arepa were delightful. The apps were also delish(jetty wings and shrimp empanadas). The rest of my clan enjoyed mussels oreganatta (sp?), Cuban sandwich, and beef and shrimp tacos. Beer menu is outstanding. I can't say anything but outstanding. Lots of fun. Can spend the day here!

We found this place by accident and oh so glad we did. We had the Pretzel (Pretzilla) to start - OMG it's giant and beyond delicious. You seriously could make yourself sick eating it as you just can't stop. Johnny got the beef and cheese with fries (large portion) and we were equally happy with it. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed the last of summer/fall weather and ate outside.

We went for lunch and had an excellent time. The building and restaurant ar spotless and beautiful.We had the fish and chip and the teriyaki wings. The crispness of the batter on the fish was perfect. The fries were perfect also. The teriyaki wings are some of the best I have ever had. They have a nice selection of beers as well as a full bar. The food came out quick and hot. The service was excellent. We will definitely be going again.

We stopped in here only because another place we normally go for burgers was crowded. The place was not full and we were seated immediately. Our server was fantastic and attentive, checking on us to see if we needed anything constantly. We both had burgers as there was a 2 for 1 on them. They were both fantastic. I must say I was surprised that the place wasn't more crowded as the food was excelant

Swingbellyâs Country Chicken Sandwich is not filling at all! It is quite expensive for its small portion. Serving it on a rectangular aluminum tray lined with wax paper that serves as a plate with pickled onions and pickles is not appetizing.The bread of the Shrimp BLT sandwich is too thick. I like the freshness of the LT and avocado but it was served with insufficient shrimps.

A nice selection of food and drinks. They have easy take out options and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I had some really yummy spinach as a side dish-I could eat it every day. Their gluten free options are reasonable too. The menu isnât limiting. They also seem to put on a pretty good show for patronsâ birthdays. The staff was really nice. Everyone looked happy to be there-which is a nice for a change
