Traditional Czech cuisine, several kinds of draft beer, 150 seats, historical place in the heart of the city.
We loved all the Bernard-beers and also the food. Don't hesitate to take the chips to the beer, they are like crisps. Very nice staff!Dear Charlotte, thank you so much.It is a big honour to be "Best beer in town".

Just enjoyed a delicious and delightful meal at Chilli Chilli Bar & Grill. The proprietor lived and worked in Miami for eight years, so his English is excellent. The menu has fajitas, tacos, steaks, a burger, & wings. Advertised as "Mexican, North American, & Czech Cuisine," this place has something for everyone.I loved the hanging oil lamp, lit at dusk, over the bar. The music was great and the bathrooms spotless. A lot of attention has been paid to the interior decor. It's a rather eclectic mix but reflects the style and personality of the owner. He was extremely friendly and chatted with me and my husband even though we are a bit older than the local crowd. You can tell that this restaurant is well-loved and cared for. Another big plus - it's out of the high-priced tourist district across the river. We stayed at the Hotel Alfred and just walked the few blocks to Chilli Chilli's. If you are in Karlovy Vary and are longing for tacos or fajitas, or simply a really cool spot to spend the evening, definitely go here! I highly recommend it and look forward to my next visit.

When the Day Ends The most stylish bar in Karlovy Vary lives and breathes the atmosphere of a classic English club... dance floor, waiters and chefs. Becher's Bar is known far and wide for its unique cocktails, although you can also choose from an extensi
It's a great idea to spend an evening at the Becher's Bar. The famous 19th century England style bar, located in the basement of the Grand Hotel Pupp, offers a wide range of cocktails and culinary specialties. Sounds of music performed by the ensemble will be with you until the morning.

Choosed this place following to a recommendation of a colleague from our CZ office. We liked it, therefore, we went there two times. We enjoyed the place. Well decorated, the bathrooms are clean. You can even find mouthwash, cologne and earbuds. The food was delicious. We tried goat cheese salad, one of the best goulash I have ever eaten, beefsteak and trout. I recommend this place. 100%.

This place is in a cellar of the place called Becherplatz. On a Friday 6pm the place was quite busy but were given a table. The service was slow and not-so-warm, the food okay (and cheap) and the beers mediocre. Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) is not exactly known for beers so there are not that many beer places in town. They had 7 beers on tap (11° svetlý ležák, 12° polotmavý ležák, 13° tmavý speciál, 15° speciál, 12° pšenicné, 12° bylinkový speciál, 11° ovocný speciál). Somewhat kid friendly place.

If you are tiered of mainstream food and want som genuine local well cooked food. Then you should take the walk up to this restaurant. Itâs a little steep walk from the center, but itâs all worth it..Here you can eat really good traditional dishes in a very nice atmosphere...Mind that they donât accept Credit cards, but you can pay with euros...

Incredibly reasonably priced and down to earth restaurant. Wholesome tasty portions and lots of microbrewed Czech beers. Well worth a visit.

nice experience. The venison goulash was amazing. The veal stroganoff was fine. Generous portions, extensive menu, nice servers.

The place is nicely decorated and there is a good vibe from the background music and the friendly staff. They don't have an English menu so it was kind of hard to figure out what to order. We both went with the Jalapeño burger. The burger itself was tasty but a bit over cooked, the fries on the other hand were amazing and crispy

I visit the place twice and every time is was packed with German tourists who flocked here in large groups. It seems to be the main source of income as staff only concentrates on them. Talking to friends who have been there as well, everybody has the same opinion. It took us more than an hour to get seated. We tasted all their beers and most of them were OK. Food seemed to be expensive, so we skipped that.
