Lloydminster is a Canadian city which has the unusual geographic distinction of straddling the provincial border between Alberta and Saskatchewan. Unlike most such cases (such as Texarkana and Kansas City), Lloydminster is not a pair of twin cities on opposite sides of a border which merely share the same name, but is incorporated by both provinces as a single city with a single municipal administration.

Been at the new location twice now. Both times very excellent service. The food was quite good. I would have to say the the dry ribs are the best in Lloydminster. I would highly recommend. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

I love this Boston Pizza. It's probably my favourite restaurant in town. Other places have arguably better food, but I always feel so at home in Boston Pizza. My usual meal today was perfection. It's probably the best the chefs have ever made it.Service, on the other hand, was weirdly slower than usual. It wasn't that busy; I went at around 2pm. The restaurant was maybe half full. I stood at the counter for probably a solid 3 minutes before anybody came to greet me and find me a seat - to the point where I was fed up of standing around so took a seat on one of the benches beside the till. If I didn't love BP's I probably would've gone elsewhere... or at least to the bar side, next door, although I much prefer it in the restaurant. They sat me at a booth and my waitress, Kate, took my drink order. My meal order was also taken fairly promptly. But when they brought the amazing food I realised I had no cutlery. It was another lady who brought me my food, and she went and got me some cutlery, which took a few minutes - and in the mean time my food was cooling. The cutlery was brought, and I tucked in, and by this point had near finished my pop. I was near the end of my meal by the time somebody else (not Kate) came and asked if I wanted a refill.I had completely finished my meal (and the second glass of pop) by the time Kate came and asked how the food tasted. It was even more delicious than usual (if that's even possible), and I then had to ask her for a refill as she didn't offer. I pondered about getting a dessert. At first I told her I just wanted the bill, as I was beginning to get fed up with the service, but then I changed my mind. I had a bit of a cheesecake craving, so I ordered a slice of cheesecake. That came pretty promptly and, like the meal, also tasted good. But then began another long wait to get my last refill and then the bill. It really took ages. Good thing they have free WiFi and I didn't have anywhere else to be (well, apart from household chores which I was avoiding), as I just sat and played my games while I waited. And waited. And waited. And finally Kate brought me the bill. I gave her a lesser tip than usual because I really couldn't understand why she was so slow. The food was great and came quickly, but her actual service left a lot to be desired. She wasn't on the ball with the refills at all, and I had an empty glass for at least half of my visit. She didn't ask me until after the meal whether it tasted okay - didn't check on me at all while I was eating. I had to ask someone else for cutlery and my food cooled while I waited for it. Kate also took forever to bring the bill at the end. I was looking around and it really didn't seem that busy; like I said at the start, it was maybe half full. I heard she'd forgotten to give another table cutlery, and I heard another table getting impatient about the long wait for their bill as well. All in all, not up to BP's usual standard of service!Kate did tell me that it was her last day today (she's heading back to school). So maybe her mind was on other things, or maybe her heart really wasn't in it. When I visited on August 15th she served me then too, and she was awesome - friendly, upbeat, and on-the-ball. Today (the 29th August) she was sub-par, but like I said she probably had her mind on other things. It's just a shame that she didn't leave on a good note in my head. Mind you, I'm glad there's a reasonable explanation and I don't have to worry about the standard of service in general at BP, which I'm sure is still fantastic. She no doubt just had an off day. It's still my favourite restaurant and I'll probably be back again soon as a friend gave me some BP gift cards! It's probably the only place in town I feel comfortable going and dining alone while my wife is at work and my friends are busy. They really do make you feel like family, and the place has a very comfortable atmosphere.I'm still rating it the usual 5*s, because I can understand why Kate wasn't up to par today, and the food was incredible, as ever. I'm kicking myself for not getting a photo of the pizza because it looked SO good.Hi, there! Thank you so much for the awesome review and for the love! We're glad to read that you enjoyed your food, but we're really sorry that you weren't entirely satisfied with the service. We'll be sure to share your feedback with our team. Hopefully, we can make your next visit a 5-star visit! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best food in town, top-notch service, and competitive prices. Our group absolutely loves The Proper and go there every Wednesday for wings. Yesterday instead of wings I ordered the BBQ bacon burger and it was SUBLIME. Came with sweet potato fries that were honestly the best sweet potato fries I'd ever eaten in my life. They were plank cut and so delicious crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Oh my goodness they were so good. The dip was also delicious. The burger is clearly handmade from scratch as it's got a non-uniform shape, which I love. Their burgers are always so tasty and delicious. I love the combo of barbecue sauce, cheese and bacon (I forego the veggies). My wife and friends all got wings and enjoyed those too; the wings are always exceptional and they have a nice array of flavours to choose from, both saucy and dry. No need to worry about pop refills because they always bring me a pitcher of soda as I'm a fast drinker. The service is always exceptional. Very friendly and professional and they pretty much know us by name. We absolutely love the Proper and will be coming back every week for years to come! Seriously the best food in town, top-notch service, and competitive prices.Wow! thank you so very much for taking the time and leaving us such a great and thoughtful review! Hands down!!! Best place in Lloyd to hang with friends and family with good eats & drinks. Always great service, but could be quite noisy depending on the time of day you visit. I usually go for lunch on a Saturday and have a good experience. My fave is the Beef dip yum!! But my mama says the Fish & chips are great too! I haven't tried everything on the menu but no doubt everything would be a good choice. Parking is a lil tricky on a busy day as there are many eateries in the area that are quite good too! So it's a busy area. Will be visiting again soon.

Montanaâs is all things BBQ to all people. Whether youâre in the mood for southern style in-house smoked ribs and pulled pork or looking for some Canadian BBQ flavour across our burgers, steaks and sandwiches; Montanaâs has the perfect atmosphere to bring
We showed up here at 6:00 on a Saturday. We told there would be a 20 minute wait so we chose to stay. We were seated in ten minutes! The restaurant was louder than most Montana's, mostly due to several rambunctious children at a few tables. The restaurant seems crowded with the tables and booths very close to each other. The food arrived quickly and was hot, fresh and correct. There was no paper towel in either dispenser in the men's room. I told our hostess who seemed indifferent. We were not offered refills on our beverages but we were asked how we were enjoying our meals by the manager, who started walking away from our table before she finished asking.Overall we would return, but it seems there are many other restaurants in the city that we will try first.Good Afternoon, thank you for your honest feedback. While we are happy to hear you had enjoyed your meal, we do apologize for the less than stellar atmosphere during your latest visit. We do want to try to make this up to you, so you can enjoy your next visit more! Could you please fill out a short form at reviews.esmfeedback.com? Your reference number is 30630902-E. Thank you.

Food delicious. Service fast for the most part. I usually pass on dessert at most restaurants now I remember why. The dessert takes longer to make?? than receiving and eating whole meal. I'm pretty sure keylime pie would be all pre-made in a fridge somewhere?

Having stayed in Lloydminster for roughly a week for week I frequently had supper here. The chef lance did a fantastic job keeping up to the high volume of orders by the crew, and the food was always fantastic. From the burgers to the pasta and anything in between, I tried it and loved it. Additionally Alyssa always gave great service to the crew, very approachable. Even when she was busy she made her rounds and made sure the table had what they needed.Iâve very pleased to have been here and would highly recommend!Thank you very much for your excellent review. Our hotel often fills with work crews and its a pleasure to hear that the restaurant held up their part by providing excellent food and service. We have a fantastic team at Rusty's and we definitely look forward to your next job in the area. Come on back whenever you're passing through Lloydminster again.

Invited by some friends to try this place for lunch. Very delightful and delicious, portions maybe small but very tasty. Make sure you try the burrito banana dessert! Great taste and the perfect way to end off a meal!
