Called in for lunch never been before, great food and quick service, had a crab and spring onion sandwich the thick brown bread was to die for. Fish and chips also excellent. Old style traditional pub that hasn't probably changed for years , and doesn't need to as it all adds to the location and atmosphere

Popped in here for a pint on a sunny day. I had a pint of 49 er, good tasty beer and fairly hoppy. Nice seating inside. Located on one side of the menai bridge.

My wife and I visited the railway station opposite - the one with the longest name in the world. We called here for a drink.Sky TV and full of locals. Friendly service and draft beers.

looking for somewhere to have a late lunch on Anglesey;simple? Not on Anglesey! We tried several places, all of which stopped serving food around 2 - 2.30 p.m.Called into The Boat house Tuesday afternoon and although quite busy, we were seated and served quite quickly by smiling, efficient staff.Food was very tasty, reasonably priced and hot(curry for me and fishcakes for husband)AND no dogs at the dinner tables! We stopped here not knowing the area, it was approx 6 pm. It was very busy with many tables reserved. Luckily we were given a table and I ordered the pate and toast which was average and like the supermarket lower end type. The gammon was super salty and chips on 2 plates not crisp at all. Bit disappointing and we would not go back. Hi. Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you didn't like our pate. We buy the best Danish crown horseshoe gammons and cut them ourselves to get the best quality available, unfortunately the odd one can be salty. The chips are also the highest quality and I'm not sure how yours ended up not crisp. I'm sorry for your disappointing experience. It's a shame you didn't give us the opportunity to improve your experience while you were still here.

Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty only a short drive from the village of Pentraeth The Tavern benefits from idyllic coastal views of Red Wharf Bay & beyond. The Tavern defines itself as a waterfront Restaurant with classically trained chefs
Nine of us ate here on Sunday. All meals arrived together and were large portions. As it was Sunday the usual menu was limited with the focus on Sunday dinners, however several of us ate from the specials - not so limited an alternative. Views are amazing, looking forward to returning in better weather.

Family friendly pub and restaurant with exceptional views of Snowdonia, serving local produce and cask ales.
Beautiful food in a wonderful, relaxed setting. As a vegetarian I'm often left disappointed by the unimaginative dishes on offer - not here! Every course was well thought out, with balanced delicate flavours. Could not fault the service-seamless. Will definitely be back with friends. Well done on your achievements so far, what a great team you have!

Most comments covered in separate review of hotel.Rump steak was nice, at first thought it was overcooked for medium but once cut it was a nice pink shade, tender and tasty. No alternative veg supplied or offered for mushrooms and tomatoes. Chips were OK.Seam Bass had run out on a Wednesday evening and none till Friday. Likewise San Miguel lager, fresh cream and vanilla ice cream had also run out along with tomatoes at breakfast the following morning. Alternative of Salmon offered which was not on the menu but was quite acceptable for my wife. Both carrots and new potatoes were slightly under-cooked.Warm fudge cake was very nice and decent size portion.10% discount offered for residents.Dear Michael.Thank you fpr providing feedback on your recent stay. Our apologies for the above shortfalls you have mentioned - which we take seriously and will certainly be looking into.We are currently making some changes and improvements to the food service which unfortunately sometimes comes with initial teething problems. We would love to have the opportunity to put things right for you and restore your faith in Bull - so please do give us call should you be in the area again and we will take care of the rest.Best wishesFrom all at The Bull

Tripadvisor came up trumps again. Looking for a place for a good breakfast and found one.My fiancée and I had the traditional breakfasts and they were amazing. Thick cut bacon, meaty sausages, runny egg yolk, hash brown, beautifully spiced black pudding, beans and tomato. All cooked with real attention to detail and plenty of love.Couldn't fault it.Definitely get down here if you need a filling breakfast. Thank you for your great review. Come back soon and try our Lunch menu. You won't be disappointed. Regards Derek.
