looking for somewhere to have a late lunch on Anglesey;simple? Not on Anglesey! We tried several places, all of which stopped serving food around 2 - 2.30 p.m.Called into The Boat house Tuesday afternoon and although quite busy, we were seated and served quite quickly by smiling, efficient staff.Food was very tasty, reasonably priced and hot(curry for me and fishcakes for husband)AND no dogs at the dinner tables! Tripadvisor came up trumps again. Looking for a place for a good breakfast and found one.My fiancée and I had the traditional breakfasts and they were amazing. Thick cut bacon, meaty sausages, runny egg yolk, hash brown, beautifully spiced black pudding, beans and tomato. All cooked with real attention to detail and plenty of love.Couldn't fault it.Definitely get down here if you need a filling breakfast. Thank you for your great review. Come back soon and try our Lunch menu. You won't be disappointed. Regards Derek.

Excellent service and even better food! Portion sizes are good and priced extremely competitively. The pub has also recently undergone a huge refurbishment, providing a really nice, clean and relaxing environment. I can personally recommend the Y Cefn Glas burger - absolutely exceptional. The Sunday Carvery is also the best carvery Iâve ever been too - good selection of meat, generous portion sizes and really fresh vegetables. Highly recommend to all.

Wet Thursday 5.30pm almost full of people and dogs bit like crufts at times !Barmaid a little terse and actually mixed up our order tonic water not sparkling water, hope she was new to the job.Food served quickly massive pate and toast, hubby had mushrooms.Lamb chops delicious so well cooked, chicken curry a delight, everything hot and tasty no complaints.

Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty only a short drive from the village of Pentraeth The Tavern benefits from idyllic coastal views of Red Wharf Bay & beyond. The Tavern defines itself as a waterfront Restaurant with classically trained chefs
Nine of us ate here on Sunday. All meals arrived together and were large portions. As it was Sunday the usual menu was limited with the focus on Sunday dinners, however several of us ate from the specials - not so limited an alternative. Views are amazing, looking forward to returning in better weather.

We have just stayed here for 2 nights B&B, all the staff are very friendly, Veronica and Gary are great hosts, everything in the hotel went very smooth, from check in to checking out, the food in the restaurant is exceptional especially the mixed sea food grill, plenty of choice at the bar, we highly recommend,

We stopped here not knowing the area, it was approx 6 pm. It was very busy with many tables reserved. Luckily we were given a table and I ordered the pate and toast which was average and like the supermarket lower end type. The gammon was super salty and chips on 2 plates not crisp at all. Bit disappointing and we would not go back. Hi. Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you didn't like our pate. We buy the best Danish crown horseshoe gammons and cut them ourselves to get the best quality available, unfortunately the odd one can be salty. The chips are also the highest quality and I'm not sure how yours ended up not crisp. I'm sorry for your disappointing experience. It's a shame you didn't give us the opportunity to improve your experience while you were still here.

This is the second time weâve visited the Kinmel Arms on our mini-breaks to Anglesey. It has a brilliant, large, dog friendly section with bowls and treats available for your fury friend. The staff are always very welcoming & the food is always really good.Weâll definitely be coming back!

Came here with my parents and partner, we ordered separately but were told the meals would come out at the same time. We waited 1 hour for my parents Sunday dinner and then another half an hour for mine and my partners food. The carbonara I ordered was just a bowl of cream/ soup with pieces of pasta floating around, with two pieces of garlic bread thrown on top. Wonât be coming here again.

I visited The Ring with my family and friends to round off a fabulous day sightseeing on Anglesey and what a treat? Everything was first class - the welcome, the staff (despite there only being 3 of them: chef, pot-wash and barmaid/waitress/wonderwoman), rhe ambiance, the locals (and their many dogs) and the food. I can definitely recommend the whitebait, kids pesto pasta, fish and chips and the sticky toffee pudding, which is unlike any you will have tried before. If you do go, remember to take a book to swap at their mini library and if you haven't got a dog, I suggest you borrow one and take it along for some "doggy ale!!"Dear ReviewerThank you for taking the time to review us. It is great to hear that you enjoyed your visit to us and that the team looked after you well. I do hope that we will be seeing you again if in the area.Kind RegardsMark Gibson (Proprietor)
