Discover Restaurants offering the best Bar food in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. Langkawi is a serene archipelago of 140 islands – only a few of which are inhabited. The largest of these is the eponymous Langkawi Island, which has UNESCO World Geopark status because of its richly populated (by wildlife, that is) conservation areas. The best way to experience these ecological wonders is from high above, on the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches above the rainforest. Cheekily-named Pregnant Maiden freshwater lake is a great place to take a dip or play keep-away with the kleptomaniac monkeys.

This was our first visit to The Brasserie being taken there by a friend from our hotel who had been there previously."First impressions count" is a saying and this applies to the restaurant as we were very pleasantly surprised at just how good it was. Very high standard of food and service resulting in us certainly planning to go there again on our next holiday in six months time.

Great hostel, lovely staff and amazing food. Especially the smoothy bowl in the morning. The restaurant is a nice place to hang out. The building where the sleeping area is, is cool. Good facilities when it comes to showers and toilets. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a dinner here on a lounge-couch, with our feet in the sand. It was our most informal dinner and for me the best one. Simple, unpretentious food of good quality. We went here on our last night, but if I'd had to do it over again, I would have dinner here every evening.

The steakhouse to be when you absolutely deserve a treat for yourself.
We ordered the Mexican Potato Skins with Beef, Oxtail Stew, Tenderloin and Lamb steak. The food tastes great and you could tell the chef definitely knew what he was doing with the repertoire. The view along Royal Langkawi Yacht Club was gorgeous, great for taking pictures and enjoying a delicious meal. We planned our dinner according to the sunset time. Plus, the staff are great - we forgot our change, walked off and came back shortly after we realised. The waiter who attended to us left it in the tip box but did not hesitate to approach his manager for permission to pass it back to us when we asked. For the view, quality and type of food served, some splurging (RM315) on vacation was definitely worthwhile!

Perfect spot for sunset, sandy feet, food, cocktails & more tan-lines
Hidden, is a nice looking place and has great views of the ocean, perfect for watching the sun set. Drinks are cold and good selection to choose from, but the food is very basic, tasteless and small portions. I noticed mum and her 2 young girls wanted ice cream. They ordered a single scoop ice cream, the scoop was not a true scoop you would see in ice cream shops and the little girls knew this when they got the ice creams. We didnât eat our food we left it and told them it was tasteless. The Park Royal is opening up next door in 2020. If they are going to survive they need to improve the food

Came here for a drink a few times on a recent one week trip to Langkawi. The owner is very charismatic and welcoming. He has amazing taste in music and played YouTube videos with footage that we didnât dream existed. Also took time to introduce us to the expats who frequent the bar and were also lovely and welcoming. Margaritas are great, but dangerous, particularly when you have a steep uphill walk back to your accommodation! Look forward to visiting this bar again on our next trip.

Not only is this a great place to eat, the toilets are beautiful. You will have to visit to see why. Really good Malaysian food. We had the curried prawns and chicken curry plus amazing marguitas. Service was outstanding, friendly and efficient. There is a warmth to this place, almost like dining in someoneâs home. We loved it and will return. Seek it out whilst in Langkawi. So relaxing and delicious. Canât wait to return.

There are plenty of bars at the Cenang Beach (Pantai Cenang), some of which are more authentic than âThirstdayâ. This Beach Restaurant got more food variety (not great but decent quality), and offers various drinks including some decent wines (due to Langkawiâs tax privilege not as expensive as in Malaysia mainland).

Located in a mature garden setting, we provide outdoor, indoor and patio dining. Draught Guinness and Tiger beer available at our rustic terrace bar.We specialise in home cooked Irish/European food prepared by former QE2 Chef de cuisine.
Superb food, excellent service, sensible prices all in conducive surroundings.Apart from the world famous Irish Stew and Sunday Roast dinner, to name but a few off the menu, we had the Rack of Lamb special order which was simply delicious such that we repeated that order on a later visit and will most certainly be repeating the order on our next visit to Langkawi. Thanks for everything "TEAM COCO", especially for making my husbands birthday so memorable.

We would come every evening to have drinks before dinner and enjoy a nightcap after dinner in this lovely colonial style room. Attention was great from the staff and a special mention for Rasu, the Bar Manager, who was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed listening to the singer, Lynn too. We especially enjoyed the wonderful Negronis that we're served to us, the best we've had. Dear twiggyseymour, Thank you for dining with us at The Verandah restaurant and for posting your review on Trip Advisor. The Danna Langkawi resort team truly appreciates it. We are so happy to see that you enjoyed the drinks and the services especially from our Bars Manager Mr. Arasu.
