Reviews on Bar food in Lake Placid, New York, United States. Maybe you're not an Olympian, but if you're looking for a top-notch winter sports destination, Lake Placid is the place for you. Try bobsledding, downhill skiing, ice climbing, speed skating or even ski jumping, or just enjoy shopping in the town's boutiques and warming up in one of the many restaurants. Late night dining, Also take out.
The server was attentive and quick. The portions were large but there wasn't anything to be wowed about. With all the options in the area we will be visiting other restaurants before returning.

There are about 6 tables in the open air - request one (go earlier or around 7 p.m.); go all the way through the restaurant and you'll be lakeside. Waitress was cordial and attentive. I enjoyed my well concocted Moscow Mule and enjoyed a Mediterranean Salad with Shrimp for my entree. The greens were crisp and other ingredients fresh and tasty.

The Lake Placid Pub & Brewery serves great beers and delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. Since 1996, the LPP&B has been Lake Placid's pub of choice, with the freshest microbrewed ales and lagers, including the famous Ubu Ale, and traditional pub f
Went here for lunch today and had another great experience. I ordered the maple chicken melt which was amazing and my husband ordered the Reuben which he loved. They have gluten free options and the staff was very attentive to my allergy/needs. Our server was very friendly. Another wonderful visit for us.

My husband and I ate here last night and from the time we walked into the place everything was great. Didnât have to wait , quaint private table overlooking the lake. The waitress Consuela was so hospitable and helpful. The food was wonderful and served quickly. We took dessert to go because the entree portions were huge. My husband had the adult Mac and cheese and I had the cobble hill. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Thank you for dining at The Cottage. Weâre happy that you enjoyed the food and service overlooking the lake. We hope that you will stop in again.Sincerely,Christopher JarvisDirector of RoomsMirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa

We stopped for lunch when driving around. Had the Poutine and the goat cheese fritters. Both were good, though not mind blowing. The Pumpkin Sour recommended by our server was AAHMAZING. The apricot Hefeweizen was delicious, and the cream ale was one of the best Iâve tried. Our server, Kagen, was one of the best servers weâve ever had anywhere. Attentive, friendly, funny, and had GREAT recommendations!!

Don't go here. The bartender with long hair is very arrogant. We left before we even got served. We had a great time across the street at The Deck. There are plenty option on Main St. that would welcome your business. I do not advise this place.

Wife and I stopped for dinner on a Thursday night. Place was buy with what looked like locals and tourists but we were seated immediately.Started by both having drafts from Great Lakes Brewery which were good.My wife ordered the scallops with risotto while I had the grilled tuna with slaw; only one minor complaint, the Brussel sprouts with the tuna were RAW and not the best way to serve sprouts; otherwise both meals were very good.

They easily accommodated our party of 13 for dinner on a Saturday evening. The food was very tasty. Enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken dip, brisket nachos, ribs & tacos. Thanks to our server Logan for his patience with our group.
