We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the friendly service, and the experience of Monday Open Mic Night. We tried the fish and chips and shepherd's pie (very flavorful) and an amazing chocolate swirl cake a la mode. The Irish soda bread was wonderful, and served with a raspberry butter. If you are looking to connect with some Irish culture, this is your spot.

Passing through, decided to stop in Fredericksburg for lunch. One look at their menu and we were hooked - lots of choices for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. Staff was very friendly, service was quick and attentive, and the food was excellent. Portions were quite large, and the prices were reasonable. If we lived here, we'd come back often to try some of the other menu items!

This is about average for beachfront eateries where "atmosphere" trumps fine dining. Service was good and the orders popped up quickly, but the food was not anything to rave about despite the high prices. We had a one-year-old in our party and the server went out of her way to see that the young 'un was happy. The adults were underwhelmed with the food despite the server's best efforts.

We should have known by the lack of people there...to just say no. We had combo meal that had fish, shrimp and a crab cake. Mine was fried my husbands broiled. Shrimp was ok nothing special. The fish was just so so. The crabcake should have been called a celery cake. That is all you taste. The servers were not friendly. Would not go back.

We called early in the day to get dinner reservations and seating near a window with river views. When we arrived 30 minutes early we were taken to a table away from the view, but we requested to move and were accommodated. Matt was our waiter and he was very helpful and friendly. We both wanted steak and seafood so we opted for the hot steak salad. Hubby added on the pan seared scallops in butter and I added on the crab cake. All of the meats were well prepared and as as ordered. The crab cake was mainly crabmeat with a minimal amount of seasonings to keep it well formed. Excellent flavor and no shell! Nice job Chef! I have to say the buttermilk ranch on the salad was especially tasty and Iâm not a ranch girl. So yes, we enjoyed our meaty salads with a plan in mind. We had to have the homemade HoHo with ice cream for dessert. And we are so happy we did! #1 itâs flourless. #2. Its chocolatey. #3 itâs accompanied by homemade whipped cream and a delicious vanilla ice cream all covered in splashes of chocolate syrup and chocolate honey. Amazing! And yes we did share the dessert. It was way enough for two. Great dinner. Would definitely return.

Fun and enjoyable for all, whether you dine in by candlelight, the pub by the fireplace, on the screened-in porch, in the sand at our picnic tables or at our tiki bar. Live Entertainment & Weekly Specials Year Round!
Ate here on a Saturday night. Appears to be a loud drinking establishment that also serves food. The spiced shrimp had the tails on them and they were not peeled or deveined so you have to either eat or pick out the shrimp intestinal tract as you eat each one - GROSS! We were seated right next to the bathrooms and apparently there is only one ladies stall so the line was always out by our table while we waited and ate supper. I don't think we'll be back here again.

Was hesitant to come here because of the reviews, however, we have enjoyed their Lake Anna and Rivershore locations so decided to come here for lunch. We had a delightful experience and an amazing server named Caitlyn. She was attentive but not intrusive. To my surprise, we did not have to wait long for our orders. The crab legs, crab imperial, and seafood pasta dishes were all quite delicious. The crab legs had a lot of meat in them. There were absolutely no complaints from anyone in our group of 6. The relaxing atmosphere was a plus.

We ate lunch here after riding the water taxi ashore. The waitress was very friendly and the service was good. We enjoyed the food and setting. We sat at an outside picnic table with an umbrella. It was located on a sandy beach.

The restaurant was almost empty. We had a party of 4. It took over an hour to get our meal. Pizza was burnt on the bottom. The chick sandwich was so heavily breaded you could not eat it. Very disappointed. Other guest also complained about the poor service. It was their second time there and it happened last time they were there. We all agreed we would not be back
