We had lunch at the Hideaway in mid-September. First of all, this is a big bar with many very large TVs, good views of the water thru many big windows, and an order-yourself kitchen window over in the corner. The entrances are shabby and may be intimidating to the first-time visitor, but it is warm and friendly inside, but not fancy. The chef behind the kitchen window is another thing all-together. His hamburgers are absolutely world-class (and we've eaten them all over the world). The California burger would make fans of Tommy's in LA jealous. We "found" this place when we were stuck in a long traffic jam and decided we were tired of waiting. Trip Advisor guided us about 400 yards to the Devil's Hideaway. After two Alaska Ambers and the KILLER hamburgers, we were in vastly improved spirits.

Casual dining in our Sports Bar & Grill. High quality food, great service and wide selection of beers, wine and spirits. Professionally crafted Signature cocktails, local fresh seafood, locally brewed Alaskan Beers, and Every Game Every Day! Includes Alas
McGivney's Valley has consistently good food quality, more so than their downtown location. Check their white board specials upon entering to see what's on that day that's not on their regular menu. Happy Hour 1500-1700 for 10 percent discount on appetizers, karaoke on Thursdays at 21:00, kitchen closes 22:00, credit cards accepted.I don't recall a time when I didn't like our food, except for their crab bisque which I thought was too spicy for my taste buds.

Came for dinner with my sons and had an enjoyable evening. The staff was very good and kept us topped off throughout the meal. All the meals were good, with good portions and seasoning. Came away feeling satisfied and would return for another meal.Bambam99801,Thank you for coming in with your sons. I've been coming here for years for the one reason, they have the best beer battered halibut in Juneau hands down. But on our most recent visit, they let their quality slip by using the reason that they had a larger order just ahead of ours. It's the quality of serving the Halibut, not overcooked, being moist and succulent that keeps bringing me back. If your quality slacks off, then there's no reason for me to keep returning. The halibut was overdone by about two minutes and I personally gave them feedback that it was overdone. Nothing is worst than to have the protein overcooked, dry, tough. This warrents an updated rating to poor from very good. For eight ounces of big boy halibut for twenty-four dollars plus tax and tip. I think no tip will be forth coming, and no repeat business if they let their quality slip on another future visit.Karoake takes place on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays starting at 22:00 hours, we sat at the opposite end of the bar with the pool table to minimize the noise.

CLOSED UNTIL MAY 2020! Watch float planes take off and land at this indoor-outdoor seafood bar, serving a variety of fresh Alaska seafood. The specialty is Halibut & Chips, but youâll also find fish tacos, reindeer sausage corndogs, salads, and regional c
The only fish and chips I like is Halibut and you can't get it where I live. Recently on a cruise to Alaska, my husband and I tried the halibut at several places in Alaska and Seattle. This was by far the best we had. Not too much breading and the fish was delicious. Only complaint is that you couldn't order extra pieces of fish ala carte. Highly recommend.

Closed until May 2020. Twisted Fish Co is next to the cruise ship docks on the waterfront in Juneau, Alaska. Open May through September seasonally, we serve fresh Alaskan seafood and a variety of local flavors. The full service restaurant is a local favor
Fare was ok... could tell the salmon was not fresh...it was frozen. Pricey for the meal. Staff was nice though and it was close to the boatThank you for the review & your feedback Lisa. Unfortunately, fresh salmon is not always available, and during certain parts of season some salmon is flash frozen either on the boat or immediately upon being brought into port. This is usually still a very high quality product and the only way that the industry can function effectively. Regardless, it sounds like what we served you was below our normal quality standard and for that we apologize.

Didn't order food so I can't tell you much about that. I can tell you that the place is enjoyable - lots of great energy going around. There was live, old country music when I was there. The waitresses where cute little uniforms and were friendly. The menu is funny to read, and I got a glacier margarita which not only pretty cool to look at, but also tasted pretty good. It's quite a spectacle, but worth stopping in.

I have eaten a lot of pizza, and their gourmet varieties are full of intense flavor. Their crust is not too filling and their beer selection is very good. We were in Juneau for one week, and found a way to hit this establishment three times.

My wife and were recommended to the Devil's Club Pub by our tour guide as a place to meet locals, and get away from the crowed town of tourist. What a nice place to stop and have a good cold beer, and excellent pub food without the crowds. The staff were very helpful, and friendly with the beer and food selections. The pub is clean and has plenty of tables. We had a great time, and will visit the Devil's Club Pub again on our next visit to Juneau, Alaska.

Seasonal restaurant open May- September. Offering wild Alaskan fish tacos and fish and chips, beer and wine. Locally owned and operated by a former commercial fisherman.
A beautiful outdoor terrace on a sunny afternoon. Salmon Tots were tasty, A good start! Tried the Fish Taco Sampler, battered cod, pan fried rockfish and crumbled salmon...fish was cold as were the beer battered fries...really disappointed. Food came super quick which suggested it wasnât cooked to order...a shame....way too expensive for a bad meal. Go to The Salmon Spot. Hello thanks for the review! Just so we are on the same page. You had battered Halibut, blackened rockfish, and Panko crusted sockeye salmon. Everything is in fact, cooked to order. I have no other way of doing it in my tiny kitchen. Food is quick if there isnât too big of a line. Fish tacos are meant to be eaten right away. This is because the hot fish is topped with a cold slaw and fresh pico. I speculate that maybe they sat and cooled down as you ate your tots? Either way, if you were unhappy with your meal I would be more than happy to make it right! So feel free to email me [email protected] or call me at+19079572212. As for the salmon spot! I love the salmon spot as well :). I support all food trucks! I built this food truck park because we all lost our location and I wanted to create a space for everyone. I have even talked to the salmon spot about moving over here and giving them a location, because they too might lose their spot. I recommend you eat at all the food trucks!Hope to hear from you soon,David
