Ordered Calamari it was over cooked and greasy. Sent it back they re-fired. Still over cooked and they used old oil that tasted rancid. The manager never came back so I could tell him. So I didnât have much to eat. Friend got wings they were over cooked and dry as hell as well. Spent $40 for a loaded baked potato and two cokes, the rest wasnât eaten. And they never came back or took it off the bill. This place is turning into a real s£!t hole. They water down the soft drinks as well. Wonât be going back anytime soon. They need new cooks and change the oil in the fryers more often. Quit being so cheap with everything. Your business will suffer, itâs not cheap to eat here. Lunch maybe but not for dinner. 4 of us had dinner here last night for the first time after reading a review in the local paper. The outdoor dining on the covered porch overlooking the water way was very nice.. Interior dining room not so attractive. Service was a 4. The Schnitzel was fantastic. Huge, tender inside and crunchy out. We were not crazy about The potato salad but I had the home fries, well done, and they were fantastic. We all shared a portion of the apple streudel and thought it was excellent. Prices were very fair. Portions were so huge we all took leftovers home. Will definitely return.

We visit Jensen Beach a couple of times a year and always stop at Castaways! During our last visit, the bar was having a Kegs and Eggs event with Funky Buddhaâbreakfast foods paired with Funky Buddha stouts. We shared the sampler platter and my husband had the stout flight. We enjoyed both the food and the beerâmy husband even won one of the raffle prizes that night. We have enjoyed every trip to Castaways and will definitely visit again on our next trip to Florida.

The atmosphere is very casual and welcoming the food is good and I believe itâs all made on the premises. The food selection comprises of mostly fried seafood and bar fare. Although I have not eaten breakfast there my husband raves about it and when he goes out to breakfast Lures is his first choice.

great setting and atmosphere if you like eating on the water. the food was delicious as well. where they lost is was on the service and prices. $29.99 for a mahi dinner is an absolute rip off. you can get mahi for 1/3 that price and just as good at a variety of local restaurants. our server was about 16 years old with the service ability of a kindergartener. if you're gonna charge fine dining prices, hire fine dining servers!!!Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I have driven past this place more times than I can count and always said â I really need to try it â we finally did and I am now kicking myself in the a@$ for not doing it sooner. The oysters were amazing , portions generous, service top shelf, entrees delicious and prices very reasonable for this type of cuisine.. definitely one of the best seafood places in the area (and I have eaten at most of them) I will definitely be back very soon

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. And that's just the beginning!!! The drift kitchen is wonderfully elegant yet still comfortable and welcoming. The view of the beach while dining is a great addition as well. The pièce de résistance was the food and stellar service provided by Stephanie C. She was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. We'll definitely keep coming back as long as she's there to serve us!

Had friends from out of area & this place was the best for lunch! This time of year is perfect to relax & enjoy this location. From the time we arrived our waitress Julia Jean was the sweetest & best ever, Informative about everything. We had a great table to see the Ocean. Lobster Bisque is terrific, Oyster Po Boy & Cole Slaw, all top notch. The bread & butter is served while waiting on the meal & yummy! A great meal & Julia Jean made it better! I will return!
