Lively New Orleans-based chain offering oysters, po' boys, gumbo & other Cajun-Creole classics.
I came here a couple days ago with a friend. We had decided we'd finally try Acme if the line was not too long and, otherwise, go back to Felix's. Fortunately, the line was maybe ten people deep and we were quickly told a table was already ready for us - it just needed to be cleaned. So we got seated pretty quickly despite looking at a line slightly out the door. So don't let that scare you off! We both got the chargrilled oysters and both loved them. Awesome. I also got the crabcake, but unfortunately it was overly processed with too much breading so you couldn't see any crab meat as you cut it open, so that was a little bit of a disappointment. It was still tasty and all, just not what I had been led to believe from asking the server about it. For that reason I'm giving this place 4 instead of 5 stars. But otherwise this place is great and I'll gladly come back.Thank you so much for your great review! Please give us the opportunity to serve you again soon!

Must Be 21+ To Enter Internationally Inspired, New Orleans Style
We ordered the Seared Gulf Shrimp PoBoy, Dark & Stormyâ Pork Belly PoBoy, and Whiskey Grilled Cheese. The kids loved the grilled cheese. The aioli and special sauce engulfed the PoBoys like a giant tub of killer mayonnaise.

Cajun and Creole Cafe offering seafood as a French Quarter Restaurant. Oceana Grill is located just steps off of Bourbon Street the heart of the French Quarter. With Chef Specials daily, Oceana Grill is sure to have exactly what you are looking for.
Get the red fish, get the oysters, get the fried everything, and try their Hurricanes. Nothing disappointed at this place. The service was quick, the food was great and the drinks even had dry ice (or something! Ha!) in them that made them smoke. I would absolutely go back.

Our trips to NOLA almost always include a stop at the Carousel Bar inside the Hotel Monteleone on Royal Street for a Ramos Fizz ($18 a piece). It's a fun way to meet complete strangers sitting next to you as the bar rotates. Best time for a seat is early afternoon, otherwise the bar is full. Additional seating is available throughout the lounge, but try for the rotating bar.

The Roosevelt Bar is an authentic New Orleans neighborhood bar on Roosevelt Way, not to be confused with the Sazerac Bar found inside the hotel. The less fancy Roosevelt Bar's website is tied to this post, at this time anyway. Both bars are worth a stop, so you can't go wrong. One is fancy, the other is not.Great bartenders, fun place to people watch. A patron and her dog bellied up to the bar to say hello, bartender gave the pooch dog treats. "A dog walks into a bar" jokes went abound. Good folks, good place.

Had lunch there on 8/12. It was OK. It wasn't busy and I thought it took a long time to fill our order, which was 2 dogs and an order of tots. I also thought 8.50 was a little pricey for a fancy dog, but they were good. I would go back, but not in a rush. Funky but clean.Thank you for the feedback on your ticket time. We've gotten to work on this issue, and we're confident our team will improve. And thank you for saying we're "funky but clean!" That's a great compliment! Thanks again!

NOLA for 4 days. We ate here twice. BEST FOOD we had and we went to a lot of good places! Literally every thing we had was delicious! I can't imagine that you could go wrong with any item on the menu but we had: pastrami w/sauerkraut sandwich, hot boudin sausage, Cajun sausage, a porchetta sandwich (sadly a special and not on the regular menu but...to die for), black eyed pea chili. The drinks were great too. The space is really pleasant and, even though the seating is mostly at high tops or a the bar, its a comfortable place to be. Great service too. We didn't try Cochon (the main restaurant) this time but we definitely will when we return to New Orleans.
