Taps Fish House and Brewery in Irvine is a great place to gather and enjoy a meal. The restaurant is beautifully laid out and furnished. There is a bar area and several dining areas. Tablecloths and napkins on the dining tables. The price fix meals are a bargain. The food is just delicious. I had the clam chowder, shrimp scampi (with pasta) and creme brûlée, but there are many choices for each course. The full menu also looked wonderful, not just seafood. They specialize in beer, but have a full bar. There were four of us and we all agree the service we got was outstanding. Our server knew the menu so well. She was also a great advisor on their beers and pairings. We will be back for sure.Thank you for the kind review, Lynne. Itâs been six months since our last visit which,to be fair, wasnât all that inspiring.We found changes such as an old favorite that got materially âreducedâ in portion size and also suffering some quality issues, and a noticeable change in the level of service.But, since this has been a favorite of ours for decades....it is only fair to give them another try.It got worse! Super easy to book a reservation through Open Table the same day. Although they were extremely busy, we were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation. They share a parking lot with Famous Dave's BBQ. Our server was helpful and friendly. Salads arrived less than 5 minutes after we ordered. Our pizza took 20 minutes but it was delicious! This BJ's has at least 16 TV's and a very upbeat atmosphere. Mini cheese and tomato pizza and 2 salads with tip was $21.00.

Billed as 16 oz., whatever it actyually was once cooked was more than enough for the average good appetite. Prime rib cooked properly, served with creamed corn which was very good, Yorkshire a little wanting in flavor, chef discover how bacon fat can add a whole lot to a good Yorkie. Had a decent wine at a very good price, pleasant surprise.

the ambiance was nice, rustic and recycled look which I like. The waitress was prompt, friendly, and efficient. We did not partake in drinks but they sure looked good. I had the BC Press which was almost like a Cuban but better. The men had burgers and were not disappointed. If we find ourselves back in town we would revisit.

Our party of 9 enjoyed fries and cheeseburgers, chopped salads, kids pizza, sweet potato fries, a beef dip sandwich and carne asada tacos. Love their varied menu items and loved that the music was not cranked up so loud that we couldnât talk to each other. We had a very pleasant dinner, no alcohol and the bill was $121.00 without the tip. It was less than The Lot movie theater tickets!

We went to Paul Martins the other night for a relaxed dinner.The atmosphere is nice when entering the place. We were seated quickly and found a nice table for the 8 of us.The waitress was very attentive and had some great recommendations for us.The Menue isn't too comprehensive but offers everything from seafood to Ribs and Steak.Actually the wine isn't bad either. The food was delivered quick and was presented nicely. Everything was good and prepared as we ordered it.So, this is a good place to enjoy a relaxed dinner with Friends or Family. Pricewise you may spend a little more than the average but you will not regred it...Enjoy

Sunday evening dinner, not crowded at the Spectrum, even found a parking place by the elevators.No reservation but we were seated immediately in the small room to the left of the hostess station. A bit quieter in there and a little more of a view. Sam was our waiter and greeted us immediately.Love the garlic bread and we both had the large tri-tip with peanut cole slaw. Wife had the sweet potato fries and I opted for the roasted broccoli. Not a good choice. Stringy, and burned, not caramelized at all. Should have had the steamed version.Sam packed our leftovers and gave me a substitute side order. Nice touch.

This place has many types of ribs. Their traditional classic rib is very tasty. Service is really good with pleasant and helpful waiters and waitresses. It is a fun place with people seeming to be enjoying and celebrating. Plenty of parking. Lots of beer selections.

Delicious food, tons of options for vegetarians, and they even allow dogs (outside on the patio, anyway). My only complaint is that I wish the patio were bigger, as the weather is most often nice. The food portions are big and the quality is excellent. Great flavor. The serving staff is also super nice.
