Customer service and food were great; however, I ordered for pick-up, and the only thing that went awry was I ordered a loaded baked potato. Instead, I received just a plain baked potato. I was a bit disappointed since I paid an extra few dollars for it.Otherwise, everything else--filet mignon and stuffed salmon were outstanding and other special instructions were followed.Next time, though, I will double-check my order since you all messed up (though minor) for me.Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. I'm so sorry to hear that your baked potato was not what you ordered but happy that despite that your meal was great. We definitely want your order to be right the first time every time, so I apologize that it was not. We hope that you will come back in to see us again soon. Thank you again for your review!Take care, Ajna MorrowGeneral Manager

A night out without the kids... :-)We had way too much food but it was excellent.Nachos are good, sauces delicious, same for the queso. What really made it for us are the tacos: deliciously prepared and spiced. No further comments needed :-)Quite busy even on a Monday, so I guess other nights might be very busy.

Our group of six got pulled pork sandwiches, brisket, ribs, waffle fries, mac-N-cheese and Ranchero beans. The combo platters and pick-a-meat sandwiches were good choices for different appetites. The beans are not typical baked beans; they are runny and vinegary and tomatoey, not sweet or bacony. The mac was tasty but the cheese was thick not creamy. The waffle fries were tasty but chewy. Overall the meat was the highlight. They seemed understaffed and signage was missing in places and unclear in others. We figured it all out and enjoyed our meal. We ate outside which was pet friendly. Some tables outside did not have umbrellas.

While at a conference in Indy, I searched for quality, well-rated spots to eat and this gem kept popping up. I am so glad I ate here...delicious apps and main courses. My colleague and I enjoyed it all and would definitely return. It looked like they had a lot of interesting drinks as well.

We were in town for a swimming event at IUPUI and after the day at the pool, we were looking for some dinner. We decided on burgers so started looking through Google maps. The nice thing is that the map compared it to a couple places we've been to back home, which sold us on our decision. It was a little tricky to find some parking, but not long. We sat outside, which was nice and mostly shaded. As the sun had started to duck behind the buildings, they actually opened the slats that were on the patio "roof." This gave a little more air flow, which was nice. We each ordered a burger, of course, with fries on the side, which was extra, but they were amazing!! I had the basic, beginning burger with cheddar and bacon. My son had the Honey-Chipotle BBQ burger, which was a lot on one bun! We each had a bottle of root beer, and then he finished with a root beer float, which was really good too. And the burgers were cooked the way we like them, with some pink in the middle. The fries were really great, we love fries with a little skin on them and nice and crispy like!Again, it wasn't a cheap place, but it was really good and I'd come back again if we're in the area.

We may be approachable, but we're anything but average. Here at Conner's Kitchen + Bar, we're bringing elevated comfort food, craft beers and cocktails to a hangout-worthy spot soon to be downtown Indy's best happy hour and weekend brunch destination.
I cannot imagine why this restaurant has a rating of 4.5. We are from near Indianapolis and came downtown for a concert. The concert was cancelled but we stayed anyway and had dinner at Conner's Kitchen. The server was very slow. He finally took our order after we waited a while even though the restaurant was not busy. We had to wait to get our food and drinks. Then we never saw him again for drink refills or to check to see if our food came out ok. Overall, the food was average and the service poor. Indianapolis has lots of great restaurants. Try somewhere else.I apologize you had such a poor experience, it sounds like we did not provide you with the standard of service to which we hold ourselves. If you can find the time I would appreciate the opportunity to hear more about your experience and be given the chance to make it right. My personal email is [email protected] please reach out if you have some spare time.-Jake Cotter, AGM

I was hugely impressed with the architecture & impeccable, minimalistic decor. Entering the building, it appears cozy & rustic, but with a modern sensibility. There are three dining options: the enclosed patio (with folding windows which makes you feel as if youâre outside), inside the restaurant, & their rooftop. We were lucky enough to score a table on the rooftop. Now for the food: inventive, beautifully presented, & delicious! We had their version of gazpacho (true to gazpachoâs Spanish roots but with their unique take on it; scrumptious!), the yucca fries, & the street corn (an absolute must!)The drinks were phenomenal. A good mix of craft beers and inspired cocktails. Mine was so good that most of my table got the same one. The âVeranoâ with Tito's Handmade Vodka, Cappelletti, lemon, & strawberry-basil syrup. Summer in a cup.I wished l lived closer to Indy, lâd frequent this place at least once a week.

Stumbled into this place out of convenience. Initially concerned because it was not appropriately staffed. One overworked waitress who had been there for 15 hours! Other diners were incredibly rude to her, but she worked her tail off and had a pleasant attitude through a tough situation. Nice variety on menu, very tasty burger. Would definitely go back and hope they got the waitress some help!
