Came to this bar for a drink before dinner. My fiancee and I enjoyed our cocktials and played two games of pool before we left. It's very spacious and has a nice vibe with pieces of art for purchase, as well. I believe it is a cash only bar.

Anthony and the entire staff are the reason to eat here. Sure the food is great. Fancy? No. Good? No. Great! 225 is a place for locals to get a nice meal at a VERY reasonable price. Terrific cocktails at reasonable prices. Food is freshly prepared and portion sizes are perfect. Tonight I had the Meatball "sub" (for 10 bucks!) that was stuffed with perfectly seasoned meatballs, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Seriously - I could barely get through 1/2 of it. Even with the homemade chips! Maybe I shouldn't have started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, but I did. Great beers too. Hopefully for us the hipster Millenials won't find out about 225.

We were a party of 6-large age range and had a dog with us. we had a late supper in the outside area. the place is fun. food is varied-they bring out various Asian small plate sized items in take out containers which was a great way to serve the food outdoors. we tried the Mezcal slushy.. not a lot of vegetarian options to choose from on the menu but I enjoyed the chilled sesame noodles and tiger salad. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was lively but not too noisy for conversation since the tables are well spaced. would definitely return.

I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the restaurant and we found it very appealing and welcoming. We were sat quickly by a very efficient young woman clearly serving as the bartender. She was patient with me as I struggled to make a decision and took our order herself. At this point it appeared that the floor person came on duty and I got the impression that we slipped through the shift change cracks. The new waitress delivered our appetizers and then we were mostly forgotten. The waitress was quite attentive to all the surrounding customers who had come in while we sat waiting for what felt like far too long. After a few audible remarks made by myself, the bartender resumed seeing to our table personally and the service from that point forward was quite impeccable and redeemed the occasion. The food was quite tasty and the only other minor issue was the fact that it was quite cold in the restaurant due in large part to the very large French doors left wide open during a very windy and cold early spring day.

Great beer. Lots of local brews. Really good pub snacks. Friendly, well appointed on a quiet block just off the Main Street. Stouts and dark beers particularly well represented. Guacamole a little disappointing.

Great Pub in an old firehouse where horses used to be as well as the fire engines themselves. They serve Craft Beers 75% sourced from NY.They have a large selection of books and almost all were reading them.Very eclectic atmosphere but don't let that stop you from visiting. We ahd a great time without the reading part

Food was pretty good. Bartender made great drinks. I had the cap read chicken which was good. We ordered creme brûlée which is my absolute favorite. Very disappointed. The sugar was not carmalized. We sent them back and they werenât much better. Good place great bartender food was nothing to write home about.

My husband, sister, and brother in law and I had a very good dinner at Red Dot on the hottest weekend of the year! Needless to say, we decided to dine inside and had great service. The server was a personable young man who offered his curated opinions on the food. He was spot on with some dishes. The atmosphere was cozy and artsy.

We enjoyed an early Fall dinner at this Hudson venue near the train station. Farmers boasts a farm to table experience, and the Local Mushroom Pappardelle with Scallion Soubise fulfilled that promise nicely. Mrs Gyr gave the Loup De Mer (sea bass) with Stewed Beluga Lentils high marks as well. A full-bodied Sonoma Pinot rounded out our meals well. Cozy pub ambiance and friendly service. Thumbs up!
